CHAPTER 41. SHORTCUT

All the film crew stared at each other in wonder and shrugged their shoulders, they could not believe there was anyone like Natasha who was overconfident. Eros Bratadikara is a firm and outspoken figure, he never cares about the feelings of others. “Nothing to fix.”

Natasha's eyes immediately sparkled more and more happy, even though she had not shown other abilities but it seemed that the director was very fond of her crying acting. His two hands clasped and shaken so happy.

But everything he imagined, suddenly broke when the director spoke in an angry tone, “If you really want my advice! You're not talented!”

Hearing that remark, Natasha was stunned. “What.....did you say?”

“You don't fit into this profession! You're not talented, you're not trying your best either. Go and find another profession that is right for you! Never audition again!” eros.

So then….Eros Bratadikara stopped acting because he was not talented? Is her acting so ugly? Natasha was never able to accept criticism and she felt she was entitled to the position of female lead in the film.

“No director! Please give me another chance. I'm sure I deserve that role! Today I did not feel well so I did not focus and did not read the script carefully. Give me one more chance and you'll see my true natural talent. I'm sure you'll be satisfied.”

Eros Bratadikara is a successful young director who has won many awards both domestically and abroad. His work has always been popular. That's why Natasha needs the director's film.

Natasha was so embarrassed and angry then she thought she would find a shortcut to getting the role. He then reached into his pocket and took Kenneth's business card and placed it roughly on the table in front of Eros. His actions made everyone surprised.

Everyone in the entertainment world respects and is polite to Eros. Natasha was the opposite. Is that girl crazy? Everyone's eyes immediately turned to the thing that Natasha had just put on the table. That's Kenneth Archilles' business card!

“She...he's a friend of Young Master Archilles..” everyone said after seeing the business card.

“Has right he was so haughty and disrespectful. This film project is Archilles Corp project and spent a lot of money.” Everyone started whispering to each other and started to feel afraid of Natasha. The business card is like a valuable talisman, anyone who has a Kenneth business card means that the person has a close relationship or is not an ordinary person.

“Are you threatening me? What do you mean give me that business card?” asked Eros while twitching his forehead. But he looked still calm and returned to his cold expression.

“I'm not threatening you. I just wanted to tell you all, this movie wouldn't have been running if the female lead wasn't me! Young Master Archilles is my friend and he recommended me for the role by giving me his business card!”

The producer and crew were immediately scared and anxious and whispered to Eros, “Eros, you have trained many actresses before. Many of them are also not able to act but thanks to your help they can succeed. Please your cooperation and willingness this time to train this actress. He was sent by Mr. Archilles, there is no way we refuse.”

Eros' face looked displeased, the girl was not at all talented. Immature acting skills are not the same as being untalented, they are two different things. The girl did not even have manners and had no respect for this profession, she just used a shortcut to get the role.

Eros likens Natasha to a bad, broken wood that cannot be carved. But the producer continues to try to convince Eros to change his decision and accept Natasha. “Eros, I beg of you. You have been working for a year to write the screenplay. This is the result of your hard work.”

Natasha and everyone were dumbfounded. How could he directly reject this huge and profitable project? Eros Bratadikara is known as a cold-blooded director. Even the producer was more surprised because he did not think Eros would just leave. “Nona Natasha, wait a minute here. I'll try to persuade the director.”

Natasha looked at the back of Eros who was away. In her heart, Natasha was a little scared because the card she was holding was not hers. What if Eros says something to Kenneth and he gets caught stealing the card from Anastasya? His mind is upset.

The producer quickly chased Eros. She tries hard to persuade him and eventually he manages to soften Eros' heart but he asks to speak directly with Kenneth. “Give me Kenneth's phone number let me talk to him.” Eros told the producer. The producer remembered that the name card had Kenneth's cell phone number.

“Nona Natasha can you contact Young Master? Director Eros wants to talk to him directly.”

Hearing that Natasha became panicked, this was the thing she feared the most. If he calls Kenneth then he'll get caught and all his plans fail miserably. But as much as the idea came to him, didn't Kenneth always help Anastasya? Kenneth never refused anything Anastasya asked for.

Then he'll pretend to be Anastasya. He coughed then handed the business card to the producer. “Call the young master and tell him, my name is Tasha. I want to get the female lead position, I definitely did not disappoint her.”

Natasha thinks if Kenneth hears the nickname ‘Tasya (Anastasy” then Kenneth would want to help. Natasha is also called by the name ‘Tasha’ sounds the same as ‘Tasy’. Whoever utters it will not know the difference between the two calls.

The producer contacted Kenneth's phone, after ringing three times the call was finally connected.

“Halo.”

“Young Master, I am a film producer “Last Success”. Today Miss Tasha came to the audition, she said that you were her friend and wanted the female lead of our director to refuse because she attached great importance to the outcome of this project. His audition is bad and he wants to talk to you, can you take a minute??

“Tasha?” ask Kenneth astonished. Why did Tasya audition? Does he have the ability in this field? But since he thought Tasya had already used his business card, it made him happy. “I'm in a meeting and will be done in an hour. Tell the director to meet me and have him pick where to meet. I'll talk to him later.” Kenneth said.

“Alright Young Master. Sorry to interrupt your time.” The producer then decides on the call. While at the audition location, Natasha who was waiting for the results of the conversation seemed more nervous.

“Nona Tasha, go home first, we will contact you immediately how it turned out.” the producer told Natasha.

“Good. Thank you.” Natasha said while cheering in heart. Not in vain his mother gave a name similar to Anastasya, even their nickname was the same. Fortunately Kenneth did not ask for a long name, so he did not know that the one using his business card was Natasha instead of Anastasya.

Actually Kenneth helped Anastasya not himself! Natasha also walked away from the audition location with a sense of happiness and jealousy. For him it was very unfair because Kenneth did anything for Anastasya!
