Eps. 121 Waiting Phone From Jovi
That evening Jovi was in Shasha's room and accompanied the girl. Shasha went back to the story to pour all her sad feelings on her best friend.
“Tomorrow you don't have to go to Daniel's wedding. With your condition like this I am not sure you will be strong to see it.” Jovi lay on his stomach beside Shasha who was also lying down. “Yes, Jov. I also don't want him to see me destroyed like this.” Shasha timpal briefly.
Two hours later after Shasha was satisfied to pour out all her pain, the girl fell asleep.
“I hope after this you will find a new man who will be able to take care of you for the rest of your life.” Jovi prayed that his best friend would meet the right man at the right time.
There was no response from Shasha.
“Sha... Why are you silent ?” Jovi suspects and turns his friend over. “He slept. deserved no answer from him.” saw Shasha who had closed his eyes.
Jovi takes a blanket and covers the body of his best friend and himself.
Elsewhere in Nathan's house, the man was sitting on a chair in his room.
“Jovi today did not call or send me a message. What's wrong with him ?” Nathan looks anxious and repeatedly the man stares at his phone screen the message checker comes in for him. “Still at 21.00, not too late if I call him.” see the clock on his phone.
“Krying...” the voice of Jovi's phone ringing. “Why did that rotten man call me again ? though I've told her that I slept here tonight.” Jovi who was preparing to go to sleep got up big and pulled his phone out of his bag.
“Halo Jovi.. It's me.” Nathan was surprised to hear Jovi's high tone on the phone. “Oh... Brother Nathan Jovi immediately cast his voice for mistaking. “Sorry... sis... I guess who.. ha...” spoke in a soft tone and smiled to cover up his guilt.
“Today I have not received a reply from you. Are you mad at me ?” nathan asked directly because he felt agitated if the girl was really angry with him for some reason.
“Jeez... Sorry I didn't get to reply to your message, brother. My friend has a problem, the story is long. And I calmed her down until I forgot to reply to a message from you.” Jovi feels guilty and just remembered if he only had time to read a message from Nathan alone without replying.
“Your friend ?” Nathan was direct if it was Shasha even though he himself did not know his name. “So you're there now ?” Nathan stood up from his seat and moved to sit on the bed.
“Ha. For tonight only I will stay here until the condition reappears.” Jovi comes out of the room and sits in a chair in front of Shasha's room for fear of waking her best friend up. “Oh yes, what's your brother suddenly calling me ?” asking for Nathan's needs to call him.
“Nothing, I can't sleep and just want to hear your voice.” Jovi was seen blushing at the answer Nathan said
Somehow his heart seemed to soar just by hearing a short word from the man. The two of them then continued the conversation for another hour.
“Two days are exactly one week away and I can't wait to hear your answer.” Nathan said before ending their conversation. “Ahh.. yes kak.” Jovi can't speak anymore. “Rest now, because tomorrow you will work.” Nathan ended the conversation.
Jovi walked back into the room. He intended to sleep but after getting a call from Nathan, he could not sleep and was seen imagining and thinking about the man.
