Eps. 97 A Calming Voice
Jovi's still on the phone with Nathan. Suddenly he dropped his phone and settled down into the hallway.
“What Deon come ?” Jovi heard the sound of footsteps coming in and getting closer. “Still this hour he has come?” stand up to make sure.
Apparently the man had gone home alone.
“Sister Nathan sorry I haven't had a shower yet, how about we reconnect later ?” Jovi immediately disconnects their conversation when he sees Deon getting closer. “But Jovi-” Nathan feels like he still wants to keep talking to Jovi.
“Sorry brother I have to shower now. I'll let you know when I'm done.” Jovi cut off the conversation and immediately ended his call without waiting for an answer from the man first.
“Oh Jovi... why are you in such a hurry ?” Nathan who still wants to hear the girl's voice looks disappointed, but what can he do.
Jovi walked quickly to the bathroom when he saw Deon was already a meter away from where he was at this time.
“Klak.” Jovi immediately closed the bathroom door and turned on the shower.
“Why is he in such a hurry and impressed to avoid me ?” Deon stared at the closed bathroom. “Hah it's been I really don't know what he was thinking.” throw a glance then go into the room.
The night after dinner, Jovi did not return to his room and he remained in the kitchen.
“Tak-tak..” Jovi types a message and sends it to Nathan because he is afraid to call him.
He put back his cell phone shirt while spending a cup of hot chocolate that he had bought.
At the hotel, Nathan was changing his pajamas and preparing to sleep after waiting for a message or phone call from Jovi for two hours.
“Jovi said he wanted to contact me but until now there was no message from him.” Nathan sat on the bed. But his eyes were fixed on the phone on the table and he took it. “Message from Jovi.” small smile while reading incoming message for him.
Just when Jovi was tired of waiting and willing to lift his legs from there suddenly his phone rang.
“Do not-do this..” Jovi stopped and stared at the screen of his phone ringing. “Halo brother..” Jovi held back his steps and sat back on the chair while picking up the phone.
“You're done showering ?” nathan said on the phone. “Ha, already a few hours ago sis.” Jovi laughed at Nathan's unfunny question.
Deon happened to pass by the kitchen and stopped there for a while.
“Ck... with whom does he talk?” Deon looked at the smiling Jovi as he spoke on the phone. “Amost also with Shasha, who else ?” shaking his head then immediately passed from there and returned to the room.
Jovi was seen still talking until he came out of the kitchen because he felt uncomfortable there for too long and then went into his room.
“Jovi do you still want koala ?” Nathan suddenly remembered Jovi's words some time ago and the night was serious even though it was just a joke. “If only it could be kept here.” he replied briefly with a smile. “Or there's something you want, but I'm still here.” Nathan offered again. “No kak.”
For the next hour, Nathan ended his call because he repeatedly heard Jovi's voice yawning.
The man went up to the bed and lay quietly because he could hear Jovi's voice after a day of tired meetings.
