Eps. 176 Return to Hospital
Nathan and Jovi arrive at Nathan's mother's doorstep. “Ding-dong.” the man immediately pressed the house bell.
“Kak... what if we just go home ?” Jovi hasn't met Nathan's mother before.
Nathan did not answer, the door opened. Jovi just clasped Nathan's hand to strengthen himself.
“Nathan...You came.” Nathan's mother was instantly silent when she saw the face of Jovi standing beside her son. Even smiling at him is not. “For what nights come here?”
“Begin ma'am there is something I want to talk about with mom.” Nathan invites Jovi in even though his mother does not allow them to enter.
The woman simply frowned as she sat staring at Jovi who was sitting next to Nathan.
“Our mother is here to ask for your blessing. In the next two weeks we will have a wedding. I hope you are willing to attend our wedding later.” Nathan said at length asking for his mother's blessing.
“In that day I have an event.”
“Just a minute mom, it's okay.” Nathan forces the one who makes his real mother unwilling to attend the event to become emotional from running out of words to lie again.
“No Nathan. From the beginning I told you not to continue this relationship but you were stubborn.” finally Nathan's mother told them honestly.
“Mother I told mom that Jovi was pregnant with my child.” press Nathan.
“Evictim only. Easy not ?”
The words made Jovi very frightened and squeezed Nathan's hand which he still held tightly.
“Mother... I want my son, my flesh and blood. She is also your granddaughter.” Nathan protested loudly.
“Not. Until anytime I will never admit the child as the offspring of our family.” replied his mother Nathan no less insist not to admit it.
Jovi who had been silent just held back his emotions until his body trembled.
“bruk.”
“Mother... Jovi's condition is weak especially she is pregnant with twins and her emotions must be stable. I hope the words of my mother just did not have any impact on Jovi and our children.”
Nathan looked at his mother. He felt that there was something said by his mother that not only hurt Jovi but also hurt him.
“Jovi..” Nathan does not want to accept the risk so he immediately took Jovi to the hospital without saying goodbye to his mother first.
“Mistakenly I protect my son ?” nathan's mother just stared at his son's car that drove out of his house.
“I hope nothing happens to you.” Nathan looked sadly at Jovi as he drove the car to the nearest hospital. “I'm sorry.. I should have heard your words.” in his heart he was disappointed.
Soon they arrived at the hospital and medics quickly moved in to treat the patients.
“Please wait a minute outside.” a doctor asked Nathan to come out first.
Nathan sat in the waiting chair anxiously and repeatedly set the closed door behind him.
“klak.”
Nathan immediately got up from his seat as soon as he heard the door open.
“Doctor how is the patient ?” nathan asked the doctor in the room.
“Patients are okay just mild shock and are already sober.”
Nathan was relieved to hear the doctor's explanation. He immediately approached Jovi after doctors and medics left.
“Why am I in the hospital again ?” jovi said as he saw Nathan standing next to him.
“It's a good thing you're okay.” Nathan hugged Jovi tightly. “Tomorrow you can go home. I'll I'll wait for you here. Do not think again what my mother said.” whispered softly.
Jovi just nodded and hugged Nathan back while shedding tears to loosen his chest that felt tight.
