Eps. 168 Overcoming Deon Attacks
“Kak how is this ?” jovi asked as Nathan stood up and tried to chase after his mother but she aborted.
“Pardon my mother's rude words to you.” Nathan holds Jovi's hand and apologizes to him instead. “Tak what brother.”Jovi was not at all angry at the man because Nathan had defended him desperately in front of his mother.
“Then how are our wedding plans ?” jovi's asking looks pessimistic.
“We will stay married later.”
“Although without the blessing of your parents are also my parents ?” tanya Jovi reiterated.
“Yes, of course. You don't have to worry.” Nathan answered briefly and kissed Jovi on the forehead while rubbing his stomach.
Jovi smiled with relief at Nathan's decision.
“We better go home now.” Nathan covers up his grief over his mother's refusal and immediately exits his house back to the apartment with Jovi.
The next morning Jovi prepares to get into the red car but Nathan from behind snatches the key.
“One week ahead you can't drive your own car.” Nathan pulls Jambi up and takes him to his car.
“But why sister ?” reply Jovi asked back after sitting in front.
Nathan was silent for a moment to find the right reason because actually said obstetrician Jovi is weak and at risk of miscarriage if emotions or thinking hard because of something.
“Your condition has not fully recovered and should rest at home until 3 months of gestational age.” clearly Nathan does not want his lover to think about it and make the fetus in the womb at risk.
Jovi just gave a small smile in response to Nathan. In the toughest moment of his life the man faithfully accompanied him.
“Jovi later I can not pick you up home.” Nathan said after arriving at Jovi's office. “Or do I ask Chris to pick you up later ?”
“I can ask Shasha later to pick me up, sis.”
Nathan just runs his car back after actually seeing Jovi get into his room.
“Mr Nathan !” call Chris from a distance as soon as the boss gets out of the car. “What's Chris ?”
“Mr this morning our company's performance decreased 5% from usual.” explained the secretary while arranging his breath after stopping running.
“What ?! How can it be ?” because all this time the company has always been stable and strong so it has never experienced a decline.
“After the investigation it turns out there are parties who deliberately attacked this company.”
Nathan frowned upon hearing the sudden news. “Who is the culprit ?”
“From all the evidence leads to Sanjaya Group.”
“Damn ! That must be Deon's job. How dare he attack my company.” Nathan was so angry that Chris shuddered in horror at the glare of his master's sharp eyes.
“Huft...” Nathan took a rough breath while rubbing his face.
“We have to act fast now before things get worse.” Nathan refocused and thought clearly.
“Ya sir.”
Nathan immediately held a small meeting with some staff to discuss the matter.
“Alright I guess so many of the meeting this time and we immediately move now.” said Nathan ended the meeting session.
“Good CEO.” replied the participants of the meeting in unison.
Nathan went back into the meeting room. Right now his mind seems to be mixed between his personal problems as well as his work problems.
“Deon... If you're a man this shouldn't be how you challenge me.” Yes, Nathan was eager to teach and beat Deon to the brunt until all his anguish for the man was gone.
