Eps. 30 Stumbling
Jovi and Nathan got out of the car and walked into the park. The park they visit looks fresh because of the many green-green growing there, besides looking charming with a variety of flowers that grow colorful along the entrance of the park.
“We'd better sit there.” Nathan pointed to a gazebo, one of several Gazebos in the park located at several points in the park. “Ya, can.” Jovi walked towards the gazebo that Nathan had appointed.
“Here there is no kiosk or its kind that sells drinks or snacks.” Nathan saw the errands around and there were no sellers at all there.
In front of the entrance of the flower garden written a rule if all traders and sellers are prohibited from selling in the flower garden area. That is because the local government wants to keep the flower garden area fresh and clean of the garbage produced by the sellers.
“If you're thirsty I'll be out for a while to the supermarket or minimarket that is around here to buy drinks.” Nathan offers Jovi back. “No need brother, I don't know or hungry. I just need some fresh air.” Jovi rejected Nathan's offer because he was still full after drinking tiramisu milk at the cafe Rockstar earlier.
The wind blows softly in the afternoon against Jovi's long hair.
“News here.” Jovi gave a small smile feeling the cold air that was inserting her hair. “This girl... just because of the wind alone she looks happy like that. What a cheap entertainment.” Nathan looked at Jovi who was still enjoying the wind blowing around them.
Jovi who has absolutely no idea who Nathan is, where he lives or what his status is becomes curious about the man sitting in front of him.
“I don't know why I was met twice with this man and..he didn't help me twice either.” Jovi looked at Nathan who was enjoying the scenery around them. “Somewhere is destiny or what..I feel there is a reason why I was reunited with this man.” Jovi instantly averted his gaze as Nathan stared at him.
“Sister Nathan stay where ?” jovi asked suddenly to break the silence between the two of them. “I live in Menteng.” replied Nathan. “I think I live in the area of Cempaka also because I know the places here.” continued Jovi is still curious about the mysterious man who saved him.
“Not that I gave you my card ? There is listed my company name.” Nathan did not answer him and did deliberately say so because he wanted Jovi to remember him after the girl read his profile on the business card he gave.
“Ahh... yes..” Jovi answered briefly but in his heart he cursed why the man would not tell him and he regretted asking him that.
An hour passed and the atmosphere between them was not stiff or tense anymore. They can talk casually.
“What time is this ?” Jovi sees the dark sky and the colorful lights along the park start to light up. “It looks like it's night.” glances at the clock that is circular in his hand which indicates if the time has already shown at 19:00.
“Kak what if we just go home because I've been outside for a long time.” Jovi felt it was time for her to go home. He was also worried that Deon had arrived at the villa first. “Good. Let's go home now.” Deon stood up and came down from the gazebo.
“Argh..” Jovi who walked worst and down the stairs gazebo fell slipping.
“Be careful if the road. No need to rush.” Nathan swiftly captures Jovi's body before it actually lands on the ground.
Both eyes clashed and stared at each other.
