Eps. 73 Plans to Escape from the Meeting
15 Minutes later Jovi was ready, but he sat back in his chair waiting for the time, also waiting for Rani.
“tok... tok.....” again heard the sound of someone knocking on the door.
“What is Rani ? Fast once he's back.” Jovi looked towards the door and guessed it. “Casuk, just.” added. “Kriek.” the door is open and rightly it comes is Rani.
“Nona is miss ready ?” Rani carries documents while approaching Jovi. “As you can see. Ready not ready I still have to leave, right?” Jovi stood up and walked out with his secretary.
“Click.” Jovi pressed the car keys from a distance. “Nona we ride my car only.” Rani offers to ride her car. “Good.” Jovi presses back the car keys to lock and then gets into Rani's car.
Jovi sat in the back and Rani drove to the meeting location, in the Atmaka Group.
“It's good to ride Rani's car. At least I can rest for a while.” Jovi who was a little tired after working on a stack of documents tried to close his eyes only 5 or 10 minutes.
“Nona fell asleep apparently.” Rani looked out of the glass as there was no sound since Jovi sat there.
The trip from Jovi's office to Atmaka Group was not long.
“Nona we've arrived.” Rani turns off her car after reaching the company and arrives at the parking lot. “Ha... It's only 10 minutes but it's up.” Jovi wakes up to hear Rani's voice and looks reluctant to open her eyes.
“Yes, you go down first I'll catch up with you. New meeting will start in 30 minutes right?” Jovi deliberately stalling and will enter the meeting room on time only. “Good, miss.” Rani leaves Jovi alone in the car to get into the meeting room, looking for a seat for him as well as for Jovi who will later return to pick him up.
In his room, Nathan felt unsettled to see the time that kept going.
Outside, Jovi who tried to sleep again could not close his eyes because the atmosphere around him was crowded. A lot of people are fluttering there.
“Sial !” Jovi got out of the car and intended to breathe fresh air there. “Perhaps if a short walk around here is okay, I'll be back before Rani looks for me.”
Jovi walked slowly while observing the circumstances around there.
In the middle of time that continues to run where his mind must be calm when following the meeting. Nathan who until this moment still thought of Jokowi finally decided to call him, just to ask him how he was doing.
“Krying... kriing..” Jovi heard his phone ringing. “Maybe it was Rani who was looking for me. I just walked 2 minutes he called me.” Jovi pursed his lips again in annoyance, but despite feeling annoyed he still took his phone.
“Sister Nathan ??” Jovi was surprised to find out that the person who called him was not his secretary but the man. “Abviously, why did he suddenly call me during the day like this again ?” still feeling weird and can't believe it.
“Halo kak Nathan... What's up ?” Jovi answered immediately and without further ado. “Hai Jov..em I just want to know how you are, long time we did not meet.” replied Nathan nervously. “My news is good brother.” Jovi continued walking and stopped under a shady tree to shelter from the hot sun.
“This morning you have no time ? I'd like to take you to lunch.” Nathan intends to run away from the meeting if Jovi agrees to his invitation. “Sorry brother instead of me resisting, but I can't. Now I'll meet in about 20 minutes.” Jovi explained.
“Meeting ?” Nathan was shocked to hear Jovi's reply. “You joined the meeting where ?” continued. “I'm in Atmaka Group, kak.”
“What ??” Nathan was shocked and he walked out of his room.
