Eps. 122 Pursuing Jovi's Answer
Until midnight, Jovi still could not sleep and imagined Nathan, remembering everything the man had done to him, including all his attention.
“huft..” Jovi took a deep breath in the midst of his heart's anxiety. “Sha... what should I do ?” get into bed and sit staring at his best friend who is still asleep. “Why do I know him at my time like this?” she secretly regrets her marriage to Deon which brought no happiness at all to her.
After an hour of daydreaming and rethinking everything, she felt sleepy and fell asleep next to Shasha.
The next two days in the morning.
Jovi did not sleep all night and could only sleep at 03.00 in the morning after making a decision and considering it carefully.
“Basic slacker sleeping cat, this hour hasn't woken up you !” Deon came out of a room and stopped in front of Jovi's closed room and peeked at her. “Which man would marry a woman like you !” a condescending smile then immediately passed from there and left for his office.
“uuh... What time is this ?” five minutes later after Deon left, Jovi woke up. “Gosh it's been seven o'clock past.” was surprised and immediately woke up jumping out of bed after realizing he was bad luck.
“Surely because I couldn't sleep last night.” Jovi immediately came out of his room and went into the bathroom with eyes that felt still heavy to open.
A few moments later the girl looked neat and fragrant.
“click.” he looks nervous when getting into the car and closing the car door. “Hopefully Brother Nathan did not ask for his answer this morning as well.” felt thumping just by imagining Nathan's face alone.
Jovi tried to drive calmly and muffle his heartbeat which he could not compromise.
He began struggling to work on a stack of documents on his desk which he said every day was endless even though he had finished it quickly.
“I'd better turn off my phone first.” several times the girl looks unfocused because it occurred to Nathan, then he decided to turn off his phone first and will answer it directly rather than talking over the phone.
Nathan sat in his room and looked unsettled.
“tuut... tuut..” Nathan repeatedly tries to dial Jovi's number but is not connected. “It looks like he turned off his phone.” looks disappointed for no reason why the girl turned off her phone should he give an answer to Nathan.
“Oh... It is possible that he is busy at this time.” Nathan tries to understand and refocus on his work.
In the afternoon, then Jovi activated his phone right at the time of coming home.
“Klik.” is right at the time Jovi gets into the parking lot and will take his car seen Nathan's car coming to pick him up. “Come in, this time you can't run from me.” Nathan opens his car door and asks Jovi to get on.
“Kak, Nathan ?” surprised to find the man coming to pick her up. “I did not run away from brother.” shook his head in response to the man then immediately sat down beside him.
“So what is your answer today ? Why did you avoid me ?” Nathan asks Jovi for an answer while driving his car down the street.
