The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
FULL NIGHT

The night before last night until dawn Gus Harun, Abah Dul, Mahmud, Mang Ali and Kosim talk about the possibilities of when the Monkey King came according to his threat to force the life of Kosim or his son.

They are still a big question mark, whether King Kalas Pati came on the 13th night of the 14th Full Moon or dated the 14th night of the 15th. But in case of all possibilities, Gus Harun and Abah Dul agreed to wait and prepare for the 14th century.

For Gus Harun and Abah Dul, the threat that came through the dream was believed to be not nonsense. Even the two friends of one boarding school really took it very seriously to ask for help back two other fellow students, Basyari and Baharudin.

Not to forget also both visited his teacher Kiyai Sapu Jagat by lightning that is 'leaving the tribe' to ask for blessing while asking for advice against the Demon King.

But for Kosim, the threat of Full Night was not as serious as Abah Dul and Gus Aaron. Instead Kosim prefers to resign with the possibilities that will happen to him. The impulse to support Arin and Dede with great wages dominated his mind more than his life.

When else could he give the money that many already appear before the eyes to make his wife and child happy, he thought. Though now Arin himself is no longer concerned with Kosim's income.

Many or few, Arin would receive it with a airy heart filled with gratitude. His drirnya no longer demanded Kosim a large income just because of the foul talk of his neighbors.

......................

Today is Tuesday, February 13th,

It means only staying tonight Kosim is at Mahmud's house and his last night at Mahmud's house. Because tomorrow morning Kosim will leave his family to work with his friend in the Seismic project in Wonosobo area, Central Java. And it means also tonight is the night of the 14th aka FULL NIGHT!

Most people know that the smell of the number 13 means it with an unlucky number. But many people actually do not know why the number 13 is an unlucky number. Even so they still believe it, the reason is because it is only to avoid bad luck.

Not without reason if the number 13 is discriminated as an unlucky number. It is said that the development of the myth of the number 13 was originally brought by the people of Europe to Indonesia in the Dutch colonial era.

At that time before the modern era, European tribes were very thick with magic things and many death events that occurred on the 13th night of Friday which was claimed as a mystical murder. So that the belief smells mystical was triggered since then, which we know today is called 'Friday the 13th'.

Although the day is different from the initial events, but the number 13 remains attached until now and is no longer fixated with Friday night.

Since morning the weather in the sky cloudy still thick cover the sky. The rain that fell did not seem to be proportional to the thick and dense cloudy, only small specks. But the sounds of rumbling and thunder are not ceaselessly unpretentious up there.

Sukadami villagers also seem to prefer to stay at home. The atmosphere tonight became pitch no one who came out of the house, they prefer to curl up behind the sheath.

Unlike the atmosphere in the residence of Mahmud's house. Feelings of anxious hope have been felt to surround everyone in the house.

Gus Harun, Abah Dul and Mang Ali were already in Mahmud's house before Magrib's time while performing the prayers of Magrib and Isya congregated at Mahmud's house.

Gus Harun was at Abah Dul's house all day. After dawn, Abah Dul deliberately invited Gus Harun to his house so that he could rest completely to restore his condition which had not had time to rest since his arrival yesterday as preparation later tonight.

After the congregational Isya prayer, Kosim immediately said goodbye to Gus Harun, Abah Dul, Mahmud and Mang Ali to prepare the supplies that will be brought tomorrow to Wonosobo.

"Punten, I'll take a moment to prepare the supplies to leave tomorrow." Kosim spoke with Dede.

"Monggo, monggo." said Gus Harun while nodding his head.

At the same time Dewi and Arin also parted and immediately stepped into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

A moment of silence returned after Kosim and Dewi and Arin. But behind that silence deep in the heart of Gus Harun, Abah Dul, Mahmud and Mang Ali actually both feel the subtle rumors that appear since they performed the congregational Isya prayer earlier.

"Yes, actually Mud. I also felt since the Isya prayer earlier," said Mang Ali.

"Dul's? You?" Gus Aaron looked at Abah Dul.

"Yes Gus, which Mahmud felt as Mang Ali also I felt." Sahut Abah Dul's.

"Is Kalas Pati really coming tonight, Gus?!" Mang Ali half-questioned.

"It's still raining out?" Ask Gus Aaron.

"It looks like it's still drizzling, why Gus?" Timpal Mahmud's.

Gus Aaron was silent for a moment when his face was flat, seemed to be thinking or was weighing something on his mind.

"Gus, this is the 13th, whether it affects luck or bad luck" said Mang Ali.

"We leave it to Gusti Allah Mang Ali. In essence, the Gusti Allah created the days and dates that are all good. It is possible that by chance when a disaster occurred on that day and date, so it is called an unlucky day." Bright Gus Harun be careful so that Mang Ali does not feel offended.

Mang Ali was one of the people who held firm the day including believing there were unlucky days and there were unlucky numbers. Understandably because Mang Ali descendants who adhere to Kejawen science that everything must be considered according to the numbers.

In generations since the first Buyutnya, often asked to determine the name according to the calculations. Not infrequently the surrounding community will come and ask whether or not the name of his son including the fate of his fortune.

In addition, the count of Kejawen is also a reference for the community in the village when it will hold a celebration. They will ask for a good day so that the weather does not rain and many come.

As to the truth and not the myth of all that, Waallahu A'lam Bishowab. Humans can only pay attention to the events that occur so that they will be used as a reminder in the future.

"We do not let your guard down a bit, you should always be vigilant by observing the weather outside often," said Gus Harun.

"I mean Gus?!" Sela Mahmoud's.

Just as Gus Harun was about to say it, the Goddess and Arin were carrying rice baskets and stacking dishes, the chatter came to a halt. After putting it down, the two brothers returned to the kitchen to pick up the side dishes.

"Eat first ya.." said Dewi while taking rice on the plate one by one.

"The temple is called Rin, we eat together." Mahmud reminded Arin.

"Yes Mas" Arin immediately stepped towards his room.

Not long after, Kosim and Arin had returned and joined in the living room. The dinner atmosphere continued without much chatter. Dinner this time seemed more like a farewell dinner with Kosim.
