The night is getting late and the short hour hand is already at the number 1 in the morning while the long needle is at the number 3.
"Wi mas pamit yes," said Mahmud to Dewi standing on the porch of the house.
"Our Goddess Mother please say goodbye, thank you very much for the banquets during my time and my friends here," continued Gus Aaron cupped both palms in the chest. So did Basyari and Baharudin, both nodding their heads smiling in affirming Gus Harun's words.
"Satur suwun sanget ya mbak" said Basyari and Baharudin.
"Jih, njih, Gus, Basyari kang, Baharudin kang. Sorry if there is a bad reception here.
"Wi, do not neglect to take care of Dede as long as we go" said Abah Dul.
"Yes Bah, God willing me and Arin will take care of him" the Goddess replied.
Abah Dul immediately carrying Gus Harun's backpack led him to a car that was parked in front of the alley.
"Let me be Dul!" prevent Gus Harun when Abah Dul lifts his backpack.
"Udah Gus, it's okay you're a guest here means this is ane's territory. You guest here, hehehe.." sergeant Abah Dul kelit when Gus Harun trying to reach the backpack that first lifted Abah Dul.
There are no other goods besides Gus Aaron. Because Basyari and Baharudin only carry clothes that are attached to his body because all his supplies are taken away by robbers with his car.
"Heart in the street mas, Bah titip mas Mahmud ya. Watch out for nothing," seloroh Dewi.
"Every first lady, I'll take care of the antiques!" reply Abah Dul joked.
"Ah, less asem you Bah!" sudang Mahmud felt shunned.
Gus Harun, Basyari and Baharudin joined in with smiles at the behavior of Abah Dul and Mahmud.
"Assalamualaikum.." said Gus Harun followed by Basyari and Baharudin.
"Wa aleikum salam." reply Dewi waved his hand while staring at the departure of her husband and others until they were no longer seen.
The next day, the atmosphere of the house that was always warm and crowded again felt so quiet after Mahmud and Abah Dul delivered Gus Aaron, who was, Basyari and Baharudin returned to Surabaya and also intended to attend a haul of boarding school lodges hosted by Basyari in Surabaya.
As usual, Dewi and Arin have been awake since dawn and have been doing routine activities to improve the house. The Goddess was busy in the kitchen, while Arin was clean all the rooms inside the house. And when the sunlight began to illuminate the village of Sukadami, then Arin came out of the house to sweep the dirty yard by the falling leaves scattered.
“Rin, what do you want today?” The goddess emerged from the side terrace intending to go to the stall.
“Anu mbak, I want to eat spicy. Mmm... if there are catfish, make pecak catfish aja mbak but spicy sauce yes,” sahut Arin stop sweeping activity.
The goddess was momentarily dumbstruck, her brows furrowing in astonishment. Tumben Arin wants to eat spicy, thought Dewi in heart. Shortly afterwards Dewi did not think about it further, he continued his steps looking for sandalnya on the front porch and went to the stall.
“Mother Goddess, Dede ikuuuut..!” I heard the screams of a child.
Instantly the Goddess stopped her steps and turned around, as did Arin. Then the two smiled looking gently at the little boy who had voiced earlier and was standing in the middle of the door with hair that seemed still random.
“Eeeh, Dede is awake,” welcome Arin affectionately.
“Dede want to come? Come here,” said Dewi waving her hand.
“Mamud's father, pakde Dul and the fathers where the mother?” asked Dede darted around and then moved from where he stood looking for his sandals under the terrace.
“Kok Dede was not invited anyway mother,” whine Dede then ran small towards the Goddess who was waiting for him.
Arin's eyes followed Dede running small towards Dewi with a smile and shaking his head without answering Dede's whining. Unknowingly Arin drifted into his daydream with his eyes looking at Dede and Dewi who had stepped away to the stall.
“If Kosim mas is still alive, will feel complete,” murmured Arin laughed.
“Or maybe I'm looking for a replacement? Ah, no! Nah! There is no one else like Kosim. Unfortunately, patience, sense of responsibility, it seems only Kosim mas can, ” said
Arin in his mind. His mouth was smiling unconsciously.
In the middle of his daydream, suddenly a dried leaf floated down right on Arin's forehead and then decayed past his face. At once Arin also realized from his daydream while strangling stifled; “Ngaco, you ngaco Arin!”
Arin curses himself while patting his cheeks alternately, then quickly grabs his tongue broom lying on the ground and continues sweeping the courtyard of the house.
It looks like Mahmud's house will be deserted in the next few days during Mahmud and Abah Dul to Surabaya. Mahmud had told Dewi, himself and Abah Dul will go home after completing the event haul there, but it was not determined with certainty how many days.
Meanwhile, Dewi and Dede have arrived at his vegetable shop. As usual, Bi Inah stalls have been crowded by mothers who shop for a variety of dishes.
When he saw Dewi coming with Dede, all the mothers who were initially focused on choosing the ingredients of his cooking immediately turned to the two of them. Then without anyone commanding, the mothers swarmed Dede and Dewi while touching and rubbing Dede's body. Starting from the head, hair, cheeks, shoulders, both hands Dede even held her legs too.
“Dede... are you healthy?” asked a mother while holding Dede's cheek looked very curious.
“You're whiter now De,” timpal other mothers also hold Dede's arm and wipe his swab.
“De said people, Dede can treat sick people huh?” other mothers.
The little boy spontaneously revolted feeling uncomfortable all his body held by mothers, he tried to avoid by hiding himself in front of the feet of the Goddess who was choosing her cooking ingredients.
“Why De?” tanya Dewi felt Dede clenching her feet tightly.
Dede did not answer Dewi's question, he stuck his head between the knees of the Goddess. Seeing Dede's cute and adorable behavior, making mothers laugh.
“Mbak Dewi, it looks like Dede is now more active huh?” ask one of the mothers who also teased Dede.
“Iya bu,” sahut Dewi briefly while continuing to choose vegetable ingredients.
“Eh, mbak Dewi there is something strange that happened to Dede after living again that?” ask a mother next to him.
“Hehehehe... ordinary kok bu, yes like the old Dede,” replied Dewi wisely.
“That's how does Mahmud know that Dede is still alive in his grave?” ask other mothers curious and then nodded to other mothers who were also curious.
“Wallahu a’lam bu, it's all thanks to the power of Gusti Allah. Mas Mahmud is only shown in his dream,” replied Dewi.
“oooh...” say mother-mother in unison while gawking at Goddess.
“Say Dede can heal the sick yes mbak Dewi after living again,” ask other mothers.
“Ah, not mother. It's just a big story. Actually Dede has not died mother-mother, according to the doctor Dede was experiencing torpor or his medical language was in a coma,” explained Dewi trying to eliminate the bad impression on Dede.** CONNECTED
