The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
Unconceived Voices

The tension that had peaked saw Kosim was pecked cobra, now began to melt. Mahmud, Abah Dul and Kosim are back in the hut of the chili garden under the shady mango tree.

Abah Dul sat on the front right side of the hut while leaning his back. Mahmud sat on his left side casually dangling his legs. While Kosim sat leaning in the corner next to Abah Dul.

The sun has reached its peak but the heat of the sun does not make the heat of the hut occupied by Mahmud, Abah Dul and Kosim. The three again continue to enjoy coffee that is no longer hot while spending the rest of the banana fritters.

The atmosphere was silent for a while, sinking with each other's thoughts before Mahmud finally broke the silence.

"Sim, you're right it's okay. You were pecked at a cobra" said Mahmud curiously.

"It's okay, Mom. If I was pecked it must have died to Mas, I did not feel the pat," said Kosim.

"Masa Sim" said Abah Dul.

"Really Bah, where try the ex." Kosim said while showing both his legs.

Mahmud and Abah Dul spontaneously noticed Kosim's legs, especially on his calves. Both men scrunched their necks because there was no sign of a snake pat on Kosim's feet.

"Are we wrong Mud?" Abah Dul said hanging his question full of disbelief.

"No way, the wong was obviously a cobra grabbing Kosim's calf." Mahmud Strictly.

"Yes, I also saw clearly. But how..." Abah Dul's speech was interrupted by Kosim.

"Udah, no. I'm fine, go home yuk duhur." Sela Kosim's.

"Yes is a fool." Mahmud.

Kosim immediately packed the rest of the fried banana and coffee wrap and then carrying a thermos. While Mahmud put his hoe on his left shoulder and his right hand carrying a machete that Kosim had brought before. Then the three stepped out of Mahmud's chili garden hut and walked home.

Along the way, not much talk came out. In Abah Dul's own brain still busy thinking about the events in the chili garden, he related the previous Kosim question to the incident of a cobra patting on Kosim's calf.

"Will Kosim now have the advantages after death or is this the character of the practice of remembrance given by Gus Aaron." Abah Dul said in his heart.

"The first Kosim is like knowing there will be danger and the second he is like not working on a snake pat, strange!" Continue Abah Dul in the mind.

Mahmud, too, thought of the strangeness of Kosim. He also related the incident this morning when Kosim had just returned home with in the garden. If this morning Kosim said, 'anxious yes, to call Abah Dul' while the time in the garden Kosim shouted, 'alum there is a snake.'

"Kok he can know yes," Mahmud said inwardly.

It did not feel like they had reached Mamud's house. Abah Dul immediately excused to go home while Mahmud rushed to the bath through the side door.

Stay Kosim who sits on the front porch and leaning on the pillars of the house while smoking the rest of the cigarettes in his hands.

His mind floated in remembrance of the disfigured voice that again appeared in a moment of precariousness. When he was pecked cobra actually he knew but the cobra pat did not touch the skin of his calf. The cobra is like racing and bouncing.

"If Abah Dul does not know who and why the voice without appearance always appears, then to whom else I ask to find out?" Kosim muttered in his heart.

"Then can that lookless voice help me fight against the supernatural covenant with the monkey demon?!"

......................

Still on the 11th day against the occult agreement, after the prayers of the magrib congregated Mahmud and Kosim held on the front porch. While Dewi and Arin sat in front of the television accompanying Dede to play.

The atmosphere at the beginning of the night was mediocre no more anxiety and worry about the emergence of supernatural terror. Until this fourth night the Mahmud family was lulled by the situation that felt fine. Even the neighbors who are usually on the court are no longer there.

Similarly, Abah Dul and Mang Ali who usually have gathered after the magrib now have not seen the trunk of his nose. Now in Mahmud's house there are only Mahmud, Kosim, Dewi, Arin and Dede.

While enjoying coffee, Mahmud and Kosim engage in a serious chat. Mahmud is still curious about the events of the day.

"Sim, the time in the garden from where you know suddenly shouted there was a snake near me. You're in the same hut as Abah and you can't see a snake far away" Mahmud said.

"Hehehe... Yes, I'm actually also looking to find out who always commemorates me." Bright Kosim with a knotty smile.

"Yes, so there was a voice that suddenly appeared. That voice was like whispering to me." Kosim.

"You mean Sim's invisible voice?" Mahmud was curious.

"Yes Mas" Kosim said as he nodded his head.

"Keep, continue to have experienced events let alone Sim other than in the garden earlier?" Mahmud hunts questions that make him curious.

Just as Kosim was about to tell him, Abah Dul and Mang Ali came over while saying their greetings. Kosim continued to do so.

"Greetings waalaikum, Monggo, Abah monggo, Mang Ali.." Answer Mahmud.

"The vision is very exciting" said Mang Ali.

"Hehehe.. The Mang Ali. What do you want to drink Mang Ali, Abah?" Kosim chimed in with Mang Ali.

"Teh hit Sim," replied Abah Dul.

"I'm Sim's coffee" Mang Ali said.

Kosim then entered to make an order Abah Dul and Mang Ali. After Kosim entered, Mahmud immediately devoted his curiosity to Kosim.

"Well, Kosim told me that the incident in the garden this afternoon he was whispered sound without appearance" said Mahmud.

Abah Dul's forehead shriveled for a moment, he immediately recalled Kosim's question while in the hut. Kosim had asked and talked about the sound without appearance and apparently really experienced Kosim.

"It means true Mud" said Abah Dul.

"What is Bah really?" Ask Mahmud.

"Yes, Kosim had asked about the invisible voice before the incident there was a cobra. But not many stories of hunting he ran towards you yet," said Abah Dul.

Before long Kosim appeared with two glasses, one coffee and the other tea. After putting the glass of 'Abah Dul and Mang Ali, he sat next to Mahmud.

"Sim, what's really about that invisible voice?" Abah Dul asked curiously.

"Yes Bah, that's why in the hut I nanya." Answer Kosim.

Kosim also returned to tell all the events throughout the afternoon. From the beginning of the incident in angkot, at the house of Kasno, when he returned home and the last incident in the garden of chili. Everything always begins with the appearance of a voice without a look that whispers his ears, so that he can prevent or anticipate it.

In conclusion, the voice without likeness was very helpful to even protect.

Abah Dul was silent for a moment, his countenance implying he was thinking hard. Many estimates and possibilities of who the owner of the vote without that likeness.

"I can't be sure who the voice's owner is Sim. But if it's good for you you better take care and not be mistaken for use, Sim." Terang Abah Dul's.

"God willing, or is this khodam from the results of remembrance which was proclaimed by Gus Aaron, Bah? Kosim.

"Waallahu a'lam, Sim. I can't be sure." Abah Dul.

The chatter stopped as the sound of Azan Isya from a mushola loudspeaker not far from Mahmud's house.

The four of them were silent while listening to the voice of azan. As the sound of the azan was finished, Kosim suddenly cried out to make everyone gasp in shock.

"Danger, danger! The Demon Monkey was about to attack!" Kosim Seru.

The faces of Abah Dul, Mang Ali and Mahmud suddenly turned frantic and anxious. They begin to believe what Kosim says.

No one thought at all that the monkey demon came back to collect the magical agreement. And now they came suddenly when all was careless and lulled by the atmosphere that had been calm for three days.
