The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
Illusions

Kosim felt himself nervous feeling saying that he was being watched by a monkey demon. His eyes occasionally glanced at the tail of the monkey that came out from within the five-foot seafood merchant cart. He was very sure what he saw was a monkey tail.

The food that was ordered seemed to be coming a long time ago. Kosim turned to Arin and Dede, both of whom were still joking about playing. Sitting Kosim also became restless his heart was completely unsettled.

"Fucking monkey! Everywhere is disturbing. Or maybe the monkey." - murmured Kosim in heart.

Suddenly Kosim held his body in his seat. Kosim suspects that the seafood merchant is using the help of the drug. The intention was to investigate the presence of a monkey tail in a seafood cart.

"It could be that he used a prank," Kosim thought.

Kosim circulated his gaze looking around the five-foot seafood. The visitors looked a lot, there were ten long tables lined up on the side of the road all filled solid.

"Hmmm, no mistake," Kosim said.

Suspicion Kosim increasingly strengthened to see with a crowd of visitors seafood food stalls the five feet. Not to mention that many buyers who queue orders to take home make themselves very sure the trader uses the gift.

Kosim's mind was filled with traumatic feelings about monkeys, causing prejudice. The monkey shadows that filled Kosim's mind immediately collapsed because the waiter brought his order.

After putting the food order Kosim waiter was back in his place, Kosim looked at him full of search until lost among the visitors who stood around the cart.

For a moment he saw the food order on the table, the dish of oyster sauce, oyster sauce shells, kale and soy sauce shells. There was a doubt to eat it, he glanced at Arin who started eating it.

Doubt was lost to see Arin who seemed to enjoy his oyster sauce shells, occasionally taking turns to feed Dede. Kosim finally ate also a plate of oyster sauce in front of him.

"Mas, it tastes good even though the legs five but no less tastes the same as a large seafood restaurant. It's quick for many," said Arin on the sidelines of his feed.

"He-eh." answered Kosim.

Basically Kosim his brain was filled with suspicion and prejudice, he denied Arin's words despite assuring him because he did not want to cause a debate.

"This must be the effect of monkey pranks!" Kosim said in his heart.

Though Kosim himself really feel the delicacy of seafood cuisine in his mouth. But the honesty of his tongue is defeated by his negative thinking that has obscured the truth.

Lasts 30 minutes crab sauce oyster and rice dibed Kosim ludes not left as well as Arin oyster sauce was ludes to kuwah-kuwahnya.

Finished eating Kosim moved from his seat stepped closer to one of the servants who stood behind the wagon intending to pay him. While stepping his eyes continued to stare at the wagon he saw there was a monkey tail.

Kosim's suspicion grew more certain, he felt that what he saw was a monkey's tail like it was moving after a servant nudged him.

"Udah, how much is it?" Kosim asked without turning his gaze on the monkey tail.

Some time the waiter was counting, "Everything's 60 grand, Mas." Answer waiter.

Kosim took two sheets of 50 thousand and 10 thousand from his wallet and held them out to the waiter asking, "That's a monkey tail?" While pointing under the cart.

"Monkey tail?!" The waiter asked back.

"Yes that came out of the wagon" Kosim said slightly insistent.

"Where...?!" The waiter was starting to get unhappy.

"Pantesan crowded," Kosim chirped back in the body.

"Eh Mas, did you say?!" The waiter was offended.

"Yes pantesan crowded," said Kosim cuek while stepping.

"What do you mean, Mom?! Servers chants.

Visitors who were around him were surprised to hear the angry screams of the waiter. All eyes were on the servant and Kosim. The servant pursued Kosim's steps and greeted him to stop Kosim's steps.

"What the hell?!" Cosim reacted pushing the waiter.

"What do you mean, huh?! Insulting huh?!" Snapping waiter.

Some visitors approached to break up the two. But the servant continued to moan while pointing towards Kosim. His friend came to try to calm him down.

Kosim initially seemed indifferent not to serve the anger of the waiter but suddenly turned around to show proof of his expectations after the waiter yelled at him.

The visitor scrunched up to see the commotion of Kosim and the waiter with a face full of question marks because no one knew the cause.

"Where?!" Servers chants.

All eyes of visitors saw Kosim walking behind the wagon. As Kosim gasped, he was stunned for a moment to see what he had previously seen as a monkey tail turned out to be just a gas hose.

"Sorry, sorry. I saw it wrong." Kosim said shyly rushing out of the seafood stall.

"Huuuuuhhhh.." the voice of the visitors in unison cheered Kosim.

Cosim quickly stepped up after Arin who had been in the parking lot. Luckily Arin did not know the commotion earlier, if Arin had seen it would have been embarrassed by her husband's actions.

Along the way home Kosim was silent a thousand languages. He did not understand why he suspected trivial things to make himself embarrassed half to death.

The monkey demon is like a figure that haunts the feelings and views of Kosim. The illusion created from the sight of his eyes was not only embarrassing but also almost caused a fight.

......................

THE FIRST NIGHT OF KOSIM'S RETURN AT HIS HOME,

The clock on the wall of the room already showed the number 10 nights, in his room Kosim could not close his eyes. He saw Dede and Arin seem to have slept well beside him.

The monkey shadow continued to play around in his mind even though Kosim had tried not to think about it but just stand that the monkeys appeared in his mind.

Kosim was really restless, the struggle between wanting to sleep with difficulty falling asleep made him upset. Kosim changed his sleeping position by tilting to the left, a few moments later changed again tilted to the right but still his eyes could not be invited to crumble.

"Teacher..."

"Teacher..."

"Teacher..."

"Teacher..."

"Teacher..."

The sound of clockwork that turned slowly was like it sounded so clear in Kosim's ears that it increasingly disturbed him. A little annoyed Kosim got up from his bed intending to coffee in the living room. For a moment standing on the side of the couch staring at his wife and child and then stepping out of the room.

"Call Mas Mahmud aja deh," Kosim muttered as he stepped into the kitchen.

The sounds of the crickets unpretentious with the sound of frogs accompanied the solitude of Kosim. Soon Kosim had already pulled a coffee cup out of the kitchen and grabbed the hape lying on top of the living room.

After sitting in the guest chair Kosim immediately opened his phone to call Mahmud. Kosim sipped coffee while waiting for Mahmud to pick up the phone.

"Tuuuuti..."

"Tuuuuti..."

"Tuuuuti..."

"Tuuuuti..."

Continuous tone repeatedly sounds but never observed.

"Sorry the number you are heading to does not answer or is out of reach please wait a few more moments."

Kosim hung up his phone call. Then take the initiative to write messages via Whatsapp.

"Assalamualaikum, pick up the phone" Kosim wrote.

The message was sent, some time he saw the message again but still black contreng. Mahmud has not read the message.

"Did Mas Mahmud sleep yes" murmured Kosim.

Kosim lit a cigarette and then sipped his coffee. His mind floated contemplating all the events related to the monkey.

"Why did I go home when it was very dangerous" Kosim said.

I should have said Mas Mahmud to stay there. Kosim himself was astonished by his return home. What if the demon monkeys suddenly came?

In his solitude and in his normal mind comes regret all of a sudden. Kosim as if just realized with his current condition. But already in his home, inevitably have to pass through whatever the risk.
