The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
PARTING

A pair of red-lighted eyes stared at Mahmud's house from above the water guava tree. But the face that was filled with gray hair was seen shrinking full of astonishment at the many people gathered in the house. It had been seven nights that the figure of the grey-haired creature found the same view on Mahmud's house.

"Well, why is that house so many people every night?" muttered the figure of a creature on a water guava tree while scratching his head.

"Then where a man named Kosim, I did not see him not even smell his scent. Great also the human is only this time there is a devotee can hide and can not be known whereabouts," he murmured again.

Not long after that the grey-haired creature shot into the air and disappeared towards the south. The branches and leaves instantly swayed looking like they were being blown away by the wind. After the creature disappeared and the people who participated in the tahlilan event were also finished and simultaneously left Mahmud's house. No one saw it when in front of Mahmud's house 10 meters away there was a figure standing hovering staring at the house with a glare. His face pias and his eyes were cold with his clothes torn apart covered in blood. Then the figure moved to float on the roof of Mahmud's house and then down through the tile into one of the rooms.

"Yeah.dad...huhhh...!" exclaimed the 3-year-old boy who suddenly woke up from his sleep.

Arin and Dewi who were sitting in the middle room were shocked to hear Dede's screams. The two brothers rushed to Arin's room. When the door was opened, he saw Dede flailing to his bedside as he kept calling with the word, "DAD". Arin and Dewi gasped at him, and his gaze followed the direction of Dede's flailing hand. But there was no one in the room. Arin immediately grabbed Dede's body, while Dewi was still curious to continue to stretch his gaze all the corners of the room but his view found nothing.

"Honey. baby." said Arin to appease Dede.

"Dad. mom... Father.." said Dede his hand still flailing to empty place.

The shadow figure floating beside the bed was just staring coldly behind Arin who was looking back at him. His hand was stretched out to welcome the hand of Dede who continued to reach him, but when his hand was about to hold Dede's hand just grasped the air. His hand pierced Dede's palm.

"Yeah... ayaaaaah...!" Dede continued to shout increasingly hysterically as the fading of the ragged-clothed figure covered in blood.

Mahmud suddenly appeared at the door of the room and saw his nephew making a racket to his father. Mahmud also circulated his gaze to pay attention to every corner of the room but did not find the figure called by Dede's father. Mahmud was heartbroken to see the hysterical Dede calling out to his father. Mahmud only thinks that Dede had a dream of meeting his father because he was so longing for his father.

In the morning at 7:10 pm as usual Arin sat in the middle of the kitchen door. His head rested on the wooden door beside him, his eyes looking far into the front yard with a blank look. His heart still has not accepted Kosim's departure, she believes that her husband is still alive even her mind sets up its own story that Kosim survived the accident while the body found and declared by the police is wrong is not the body of Kosim.

"Mas... You're not dead, are you?" Mumbled wailing.

Meanwhile, Dewi just came out of the bathroom immediately stopped her steps to see Arin sitting quietly in the same place. Then Dewi stepped closer to her sister and said, "Rin. Let's take a shower, let's be fresh."

"Bak, Kosim's still alive, right?" Arin asked without looking straight into the courtyard.

Hearing that question the Goddess had no power to stem her tears. He was confused not knowing what to say to answer his sister's question. Her tears melted mixed with the drops of bath water from her hair. Then Dewi crouched behind Arin's back while holding his shoulder.

"Rin, you have to accept this reality, you have to be sincere. Mbak sure you are stoic and strong," said Dewi Lirih then rubbed his sister's hair.

"If Kosim really died, I would also be willing to come with him mbak. I was wrong in Kosim mas, all this time I was selfish I did not see his sincerity and persistence to fulfill all my desires mbak. I scolded him almost every day but Kosim never returned a word, he just looked down. If only Kosim had been an evil husband, he would have been violent to me. I really didn't realize it all.." said Arin softly mixed with sobs of regret.

The Goddess's tears were pouring down her cheeks. The goddess sobbed at Arin's regretful words and held Arin tightly behind.

"Rin, with you regretting it, I'm sure Kosim is smiling to hear it. Ma'am also believed he was a good husband because the good husband never showed his sadness and distress in the eyes of his wife. Because he does not want to burden his problems on you. And one more thing he doesn't want to see his wife and son lacking and he never complains even if you're so rough on him but he never tells it to mbak let alone to his friends," said Dewi slowly with the roar of her tears that continued to flow.

Arin was stunned to hear her brother's words. Her crying broke out for a moment. Everything her brother said was wrong and that was the truth. His regret grew, Arin was very sorry for his treatment of Kosim first. But now it is too late Kosim has left him for eternity when he has not sufficiently corrected his mistake and has not apologized directly to Kosim. Although he was sure Kosim did not expect it all.

"Assynoltom..."

"Muoud... Mahmoud..."

"Where's the Mud on the boat?" asked Mang Ali then threw his ass over the guest chair.

"Arin and Dewi are the same Dede again on to the Mang market," replied Mahmud.

"What would Ali drink? Coffee or pureed tea?" mahmud.

"Satur suwun Mud, don't bother me here to say goodbye to Mud." said Mang Ali.

"Satan? Ah don't joke Mang Ali, " Mahmud frowned.

"Truly Mud, I'm serious about parting. My family and I moved for a while in Semarang Mud. My wife's sister asked him to occupy the house he left behind" said Mang Ali seriously.

"Oooh, how long is Mang Ali?" mahmud asked still in disbelief because Mang Ali often betcanda.

"Say as long as my wife's younger brother finishes his contract in Taiwan" Mang Ali replied.

"His husband or his son?" ask Mahmud astonished.

"His husband is dead and has no children, he is a kara there and only my wife is the only brother of Mud" said Mang Ali.

Mahmud bowed silently, his heart suddenly felt the loss of the figure of a friend as well as consider him a very big parent solidarity. Even though Mang Ali had a high level of knowledge but he did not highlight it at all, he was very humble. Moreover, in the past month has been much passed together when helping Kosim against the occult agreement. Various important events concerning his life will always be remembered embedded in his heart.

"I say goodbye now Mud, it is awaited to leave," said Mang Ali then rose from his seat hugging Mahmud.

"Be careful there Mang Ali, do not hesitate to tell me if Mang Ali needs help" said Mahmud whispered on Mang Ali's shoulders.

"Past Mud" said Mang Ali then let go of his hug.

Mang Ali's face looked sad to feel heavy stepping out of Mahmud's house. Many memories that happened in this house, laughter, pain, tension will all be remembered.

"At the same time as Ali," Mahmud's sergeant turned to his room.

Mang Ali stopped his steps just a step away from Mahmud's house. Soon, Mahmud returned with a brown envelope.

"I can only give you this, yes just for Mang Ali's children's snacks," Mahmud said, the brown envelope looks quite thick.

"Mud.." Mang Ali said he was restrained from receiving the brown envelope and then saw the contents.

"It's been accepted, Mang Ali" Mahmud said.

"Mud is so much, me...."

"Be careful on Mang Ali road, let me know if it has arrived," Mahmud cut.

Mang Ali could not speak anymore, he thanked him and stepped out of Mahmud's house.
