The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
TUMBAL PICK-UP

The flashes of lightning light flickered like a camera blitz light accompanied by the rumbling sound of thunder. Flashes of lightning splitting the thick of the night are occasionally seen from inside Mahmud's house, making Arin and Dewi feel anxious. Although the sound of thunder rumbling was earthy and the lightning sparkling but there were no specks of rain marks going down.

“Mbak mas Mahmud phone has arrived where? Home yet?” Pinta Arin with an anxious face.

“Fear of Rin's hape, lots of lightning. Afraid to draw ah,” said Dewi memku Dede.

Arin, Dewi and Dede were sitting together in front of the television that was turned off because they were afraid the television was struck by lightning. The brothers only hope Mahmud will come home soon.

Invisible in nature,

Behind the thick clouds that cover the sky of Sukadami village, it looks as if a monkey demon creature is preparing to wait for the cue. A large monkey with a golden-yellow headband stood in front of a group of troops who became his leader.

“Hahaha... Looks like this pick-up will be easy. Let's pick up a new candidate!” yelled monkey leader.

“huhk..”.

“huhk..”.

“huhk..”.

“huhk..”.

Shouts boisterously shout out from a group of pukukkan monkey while lifting weapons in each hand. That squad is about 100 stealth monkeys. They are a group of tumbal pickers who are initiated by King Kalas Pati.

The leader of the stealth monkey army raised his hand giving the code to the stake.10 stealth monkeys immediately darted down to nosedive by thrusting a large sword in front of him. They pointed their big sword eyes simultaneously towards Mahmud's house.

Wuuusshh....

Duars! Duars! Duars! Duars! Duars!

The sound of a bang was heard echoing in the air. Followed by 10 slashes of light scattered in all directions accompanied by the sound of screeches slashing against each other and then disappeared in the distance.

“Aaaaaaaakkkhh....!

“Aaaaaaaakkkhh....!

“Aaaaaaaakkkhh....!

Inside Mahmud's house, Dewi and Arin appear to be holding each other in fear after hearing the explosion above the house accompanied by a loud shock on the floor.

“What is mbak...!” peekik Arin clutched his brother from the side.

“Mbak do not know Rin..” sahut Dewi lirih.

Dewi clutched Dede and Arin cradled beside the body of the Goddess with a sense of extreme fear. The faces of the two paled looking at the ceiling of the house to find out what was happening to his house.

The Duarrrr!

Duaarrr!

The duarrtt!

“Mbak..!” peekit Arin's.

The thumping sound again shook the seat of Mahmud's house. Arin increasingly tightly embraced the body of the Goddess and conceptualized his face on the back of the Goddess.

Suddenly Dewi felt Dede's body in the middle of convulsions, the child's body struggling like it had adult energy. His hands revolted pushing the body of the Goddess to make the Goddess strangled. Arin who was holding the body of the Goddess was also stricken down on the body of the Goddess.

“Aduh.!” pekik Arin and Goddess together.

Dede squirming wildly on the mat regardless of the Goddess's deck. Both eyes widened wide while his feet continued to trace the trail making the pillow around him scattered.

“Aaaaakkkkh...!!!”

“Aaaaaaaakhhh..!!!”

“Rin, mbak should find help. Mbak went to home ustad Arifin,” said Dewi.

“Mbak Dewi don't go, Arin is afraid mbak!” sergah Arin re-captured the Goddess tightly.

“Poor Dede Rin! See that Dede..!” jakak Dewi panic.

“But mbak..” timpal Arin stopped.

“Already, Mbak went to Arifin's house. Deket next to the house bi Sum, Rin!” cut off the Goddess, then rise to his feet but restrained.

Arin held tightly to the hand of the Goddess who was about to stand up so that the Goddess jolted back down.

“Don't stay Arin and Dede mbak..” said Arin Iirih held back her tears.

“Ari, pity Dede. If not quickly helped Dede can. can.” sentences Dewi stopped, he could not continue his words.

Arin's cry broke releasing her clasped hands on the Goddess' bell. The Goddess rushed to leave Arin and Dede who looked like they were dying.

“Mbaaaaakkk..!” shouted Arin while crying staring at the Goddess stepping out of the house.

Arin resigned, now Arin's gaze is now on his son who is thrashing wildly. His eyes widened even more and more while shouting loudly. Arin tried to hold him but Dede's hand immediately pushed him hard. Arin's body was pushed hard to the back and almost hit the wall.

Suddenly a strange sound rang out along with the appearance of a flash of white light splashing from Dede's body. Instantly Arin gasped in shock, his gaze returned to Dede. Arin widened to see a round, yellow object hovering above Dede's body.

Shortly thereafter Dede's body slowly squeezed. His eyes began to dim no longer widen. His hands and feet were no longer moving wildly and his body was no longer rigidly twitched.

Arin immediately grabbed the tiny body of her child and held it tightly. Dede's body was completely drooped in Arin's lap. A moment later Arin only realized that Dede's body was weak, he immediately put his ear on his son's chest.

Arin threw out his breath forcefully as if releasing the peak of tension he had just passed. Arin did not realize the distance of two steps beside him a faintly visible shadow figure was looking at him coldly expressionlessly.

While the stone is shaped like a golden-yellow egg that appears to float Arin's eyes but is not too ignored. The stone is actually in the grasp of a shadow figure who stands two steps next to Arin so it looks like floating.

“Assalamualaikum,” suddenly heard the voice of the Goddess on the front door along with the sound of the door being opened.

“Waalaikum greetings,” sahut Arin lirih.

“Arin, why Dede?!” dewi asked in panic as soon as she saw Dede drooping in front of Arin who was covered in tears.

"Astagfirefull!" murmured the ustad.

The murmur was not because he saw the condition of Dede but saw a figure standing in front of Arin while holding a golden yellow glowing stone. But Arin and Dede thought the murmur was due to see the condition of Dede.

“Dede... wake up dear..” said Dewi lirih.

The goddess who came with a middle-aged man in his 50s was immediately filled with prejudice about Dede. The mind of the Goddess had thought that her nephew could not be helped to see his condition drooping. The Goddess's cry also burst out while holding Dede's two tiny cheeks. Ustad initially suspected the shadow figure holding the stone as the ring but after feeling the aura he felt relieved. The aura emanating from that shadowy figure had no evil aura at all.

"Sir Ustad, please Dede sir Ustad, quickly please Dede.." pinta Dewi was teary-eyed.

Ustad who came with the Goddess was none other than Ustad Arifin. He is a scholar who was reared, although he has not reached the level of Kiyai degree but his religious knowledge can be said to be the highest in Sukadami village. And of course he has a high knowledge of kebatinan and became a place to ask for help from the local community both supernatural and worldly affairs.

Ustad Arifin approached Arin who was holding Dede in his lap.

"Punten Rin, lay the child down first." said Ustad Arifin.

"Wi, get me a glass of water yes," he continued to Dewi.

When the Goddess was about to take the water, suddenly a sound came back three times. The whole house shook hard.

"Astagfirefull!" exclaiming Ustad Arifin spontaneously looked towards the shadow figure who was standing looking at him who was also with an anxious expression.

Ustad Arifin stared intently at the shadow figure, he thought the bang came from the action of a shadow figure. But it turns out the assumption was wrong!
