The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
AMUSEMENT

It was past midnight, in the room of a simple house on the edge of the forest and a little secluded from the settlement, a young man sat cross-legged in the dim light of an oil lamp. In front of him there are noisy trays of various colorful flowers circling the censer in the middle that reflect smoke with a very thick smell of frankincense.

In front of the young man sat cross-legged an old man in his 70s. His hair is a little long as a shoulder looks bleached tied with batik cloth, his chin is covered by a beard that has also been whitened looks dangling length of about 5 centi meter.

The young man's mouth was unceasingly kamit reading the incantation. And from the lips of the young man heard him mention one person's name. His tone sounded vibrating so shuddering as he continuously called out the name full of soul.

“Ariiiiin.... Ariii.... Ariiiin..”.

In front of the young man, the old man smiled. In the vision of his inner eye he saw a young woman sitting on the edge of a cot with both hands flailing while calling out the name of Komar.

“Ariiiiin.... Ariii.... Ariiiin..” Said the young man named Komar with trembling lips.

The white-haired old man smiled with satisfaction at the reaction of a woman whom Komar mentioned by name. The woman is seen rummaging back to call Komar's name.

But moments later the old man's inner eye vision darkened. The old man could no longer see the woman he was using. His face immediately gasped in surprise, why suddenly his inner eyes were closed. Not yet exhausted his sense of astonishment, suddenly there was a loud bang followed by the sound of body hitting on the walls of the house made of woven bamboo.

Braaaaakk..!

“Aaaaaaakkhhh!” komar's voice was heard outside the house.

Along with Komar screeches, his body bounced against the wall of the house made of woven bamboo until it was broken and Komar's body slammed down outside the house. Trays containing various flowers and poisons were immediately scattered after a streak of white light hit Komar's body.

“Uhukkh..”

Komar spewed out a lump of blood from his mouth. He suffered severe internal injuries from the impact of the invisible force. The old man before Komar also suffered the same fate. His frail body was pushed against the wall made of woven bamboo but lucky he was a little able to hold it until it fared like Komar who was thrown out of the house.

“Uhukkk, uhukkk,” the old man coughed while holding his chest tight.

“Badness!” the old man's cry instantly corrected his stricken position.

He then rushed out of the house to check the state of Komar which looks sprawled from the hole was hit. Beside the house, Komar lay motionless on the ground filled with thickets. But from his mouth there were groans of pain, from the corners of his lips flowing blood to dirty his chin. Beside his head was a blood clot from his vomit.

In the morning, when Dewi was about to leave for work he saw Mahmud was coffee sitting in the living room. Dewi then sat next to her, she happened to want to ask about the events of last night on her husband that Mumpung Arin had not yet woke up. The goddess was curious from last night because she felt something was wrong with her sister so someone did that.

"Mas, last night did the monkey demon come bothering you again?" the goddess then sat next to her husband.

“If in my opinion anyway, not Wi. Arin is being used by someone Wi," replied Mahmud.

"But mas, Arin used to be loved by monkey demons, right?" sergeant Dewi.

Mahmud was silent for a moment, his mind was beginning to waver and doubts arose about his conjecture. He even confirmed the opinion of the Goddess.

"Maybe more clear later ask Abah Dul aja Wi," said Mahmud.

“If for example Arin is in use, it means there is a reason Mas," said Dewi.

“Secondly he mentioned Komar Mas. Mm, Komar... Comar... Komar...” murmured Dewi while thinking hard.

“What Komarudin ya Mas,” connect Dewi.

“Where is Wi? His son Pak Wira is also named Komarudin, his son continued Pak Agung as well. There are many Wi called Komar. Watch out can be a slander ” said Mahmud reminded.

“Iya also yes Mas,” timpal Dewi.

“Try later you chat with Arin, slowly you ask about Komar who is familiar with Arin to be more sure Komar who, Wi.” Mahmud.

“Yes I'm leaving first. So, to the garden?” dewi.

“Let's watch Wi nerusin directed yesterday pending.” Mahmud Reply.

“Yowis I leave first yes Mas, assalamualaikum.” said Dewi then kissed her husband's hand.

“Waalaikum greetings..” reply Mahmud.

Since Arin assumed the status of widow, Mahmud did encourage his sister-in-law to stay with him. Not without reason, because the status of widows in rural communities is still considered one eye or considered negative. The most prominent concern of mothers is that they are afraid that their husbands will be tempted. Or the most sadistic one-sided accusation is the widow flirting with their husbands. As long as Arin lived with her brother since she became a widow, no one dared to play or fad to visit her house.

After performing the Isya prayer, Mahmud stepped forward to sit on the front porch. Mahmud picked up a coffee glass on the used guest table this afternoon and took it to the front porch. While Dewi, Arin and Dede were in front of the television.

Mahmud did not have time to tell the incident last night that happened to Arin on Abah Dul. And he plans tonight to tell it when Abah Dul plays to his house. At first Mahmud was convinced that Arin was useful, but the assumption was that he was tepis considering that Arin had never been seen close to a man. Mahmud's mind was actually stirred by the words of the Goddess this morning who asked the possibility of the action of a monkey demon.

“Is it possible that the monkey demon came again?” Mahmud murmured in his heart.

"Assalamualaikum.." Suddenly someone's voice from the side of the house shocked Mahmud.

"Wa'alaikum greetings, until the shock of Bah.." said Mahmud.

"Ente anyway still afternoon daydreaming, from afar I noticed you seem to have a problem Mud. What the hell is it?" said Abah Dul then sat leaning on the saka of the house on the right.

"After I told Dewi to make coffee first Bah," Mahnud then stood up and stepped in.

Moments later Mahmud sat back on the front porch, answering Abah Dul's pending question.

"Gini Bah, last night it was after you from here Bah...."

Mahmud recounts the events of the night from the beginning until finally Arin is detached from magical influences. Abah Dul's face looks furious at the instant of hearing Mahmud's story but he has not concluded whether the action is a monkey demon or is it useful. Abah Dul took a deep breath and threw it hard, he imagined in the future if it was true that it would mean increasing the enemy again.
