The Treaty of Invisibility

The Treaty of Invisibility
The Friday Night Tragedy

Wall clock shows at 8 p.m. Abah Dul and Mahmud were increasingly agitated in his seat in the living room waiting for Kosim who never returned home.

"Mud tried to call his coworker" said Abah Dul amid his anxiety.

"Wow, I don't have Bah's contact number. While in the hospital I did not think of asking for his number" Mahmud said.

"After Bah, I remember his friend named Juned once called when he told the news of the Kosim & Adjunct hospital" Mahmud continued.

Mahmud immediately opened his hape sighting the incoming call five seven days ago.

"Alhamdulillah there is Bah" said Mahmud immediately called him.

Not long after the incoming ringing sound was connected, the phone was picked up.

"Hello, assalamualaikum, with Mas Juned? I'm Mahmud Kosim's brother-in-law, would Kosim have gone home yet? When?"

After hearing Juned's reply from across the phone, Mahmud's face immediately turned increasingly anxious. Abah Dul who noticed Mahmud's expression also felt anxious.

"What does Mud say?!" Abah Dul asked curiously.

"Say Kosim has come home from the project" Mahmud said.

"If Arin, Dede and Dewi were again on what?" Ask Abah Dul again.

"Again on Bah's television" Mahmud replied.

Suddenly Abah Dul fell silent. He changed his seat cross-legged for a moment then closed his eyes. Abah Dul is using the practice of "Splitting Sukma" his darting to where Kosim works.

Sukma Abah Dul looked around the residential project area where Kosim worked. Then drifted to a wooden building located in the corner that was none other than mess as the bed of the workers.

There were six people who seemed to be busy repairing the wall that looked hollow. Seen one by one the faces of the workers, there was no Kosim among them. Sukma Abah Dul also immediately left the place darted quickly back into his body.

"Yes Mud, Kosim is not in his place of work." Abah Dul.

"Oh Bah, where yes or maybe on the way home yes," Mahmud increasingly anxious.

Both men have been quiet since childhood. The faces of the two were tempering deep anxiety.

A moment later the silent atmosphere was suddenly startled by the voice of a woman from outside the house who was calling the name Kosim.

"Kangs... Kang Kosiii.... Kang Kosiii..."

Mahmud immediately got up from his seat to look out. In the front yard stood a young and beautiful woman dressed in white wedding kebaya.

Mahmud's heart immediately thumped as his gaze clashed with the look of the woman's eyes. Mahmud felt a magical aura inside the bride.

"Ma... I'm sorry, who's looking?" Mahmud asked with a trembling voice.

The woman remained silent as her eyes continued to stare at Mahmud. Mahmoud repeated his question.

"Who are you looking for?"

"Kang Kosim" said the white woman with a cold face.

"What do you need with Kosim?" Ask Mahmoud again.

The longer he looked at the woman's eyes, Mahmud's heartbeat felt increasingly tight. Mahmud immediately turned his gaze towards the water guava tree on the left side of the woman.

Again, the woman did not answer Mahmud's question. His facial expression was very cold but the look in his eyes shuddered at Mahmud's sharp gaze.

"Which Kosim kang...?" Ask a flat woman.

Abah Dul who heard the unnatural conversation rushed up from his seat following Mahmud who was standing in the middle of the door.

"Astagfirefull!" Abah Dul is behind Mahmud.

Mahmud was shocked by the sudden appeal of Abah Dul behind him. He moved his body a step out the door.

"Do you want Kosim?!" Sergeh Abah Dul was half angry to see the woman.

"The mass of my future husband" answered the woman cold and flat.

Abah Dul and Mahmud were surprised not to play. Mahmud felt his hair immediately bristled to his feet while Abah Dul felt the figure of the woman was unnatural, immediately preparing to chant the practice ready to beat.

"Kang Kosim should come with me now" said the woman in a flat voice.

"You who?!" Sergey Abah Dul was angry.

Abah Dul actually already knew that the bridal woman was not human. His inner eyes saw the white woman was actually a monkey demon.

"Hurry up and hand over Kang Kosim!" Hardik the woman who was wealthy started to get angry.

His voice was very evocative to make Mahmud's body goosebumps.

After rebuking, the woman with lightning-fast strength flicked the red scarf that had been attached to her right hand.

A red streak of light rushed towards Mahmud. Mahmud, who was not prepared for the attack, gasped in shock.

"Oh God!" Shouted Mahmud.

Mahmud has no power to escape. He was only stunned to see that red light hurtling down and smashing into his chest in a landslide.

Mahmud bounced back, his back hitting the corner of the door frame.

"Ouch!" Shouted Mahmud.

Mahmud bowed while holding his chest which felt tight. Slowly his body sank in front of Abah Dul.

Abah Dul intends to help memapah Mahmud to secure it but urung done. He saw a flash of red light hurtling towards Abah Dul.

"Bad! Fucking demon!" Shouted Abah Dul.

Abah Dul immediately stomped his feet to the floor along with thrusting his palm towards the red beam of light towards his body.

Two great powers clashed against each other on the edge of the terrace three steps before Mahmud. Mahmud flinched his body pushed back by the energy clashing the two forces.

While Abah Dul did not want to take the risk of immediately chanting the practice of destroying the soup with a single stomp of his palm. A flash of white light from Abah Dul's palm shot out. The woman with the widest bride cannot escape the blow of the Destroyer of Sukma.

"Yahoooooooooo!" The voice of the woman screeching.

The white light from Abah Dul's palm roared fiercely against the woman's body. Thick gray smoke billowed from the woman's body and disappeared with her screams.

Abah Dul immediately arrested Mahmud who was sitting leaning against the wall and brought him in. Mahmud's hand continued to hold his chest which felt tight.

Not long ago a male voice said a greeting from outside, "Assalamualaikum..."

"Waalaikum salam" said Mahmud and Abah Dul together.

Mahmud immediately stood to open the door but sat back down. His tightness felt hot.

"Already, Mud let me just open the door." sergeant Abah Dul.

Abah Dul immediately went to open the door, "Alhamdulillah, Kosim came home Mud" said Abah Dul half-cried.

Mahmud only nodded, he continued to hold his chest occasionally coughing.

Kosim greeted Abah Dul and then his face turned frantic and anxious to see Mahmud looking pale holding his chest.

"Mas Mahmud why?!"

"Where are Arin and Maak Dewi?!"

Kosim asked Mahmud a question. Mahmud only answered by pointing in the direction in which Arin and Dewi were with his left hand.

Kosim suddenly fell silent, his ears buzzed and then followed by a whisper,

"Paste your palm on his chest"

Finished hearing the whisper Kosim immediately stuck his palm on Mahmud's chest. Abah Dul was amazed at his place standing to see Kosim trying to treat Mahmud.

Simultaneously Kosim's palm stuck to Mahmud's chest, faintly emitting thin smoke from the crevices of his finger. Kosim pressed on until the smoke could no longer be seen.

Mahmud was astonished, he felt a cold air flowing all over his body. The hot and tight air in his chest instantly disappeared.

Kosim raised his palm looking at his sister-in-law's face back refreshed.

"Alhamdulillah." said Koaim.

Abah Dul looked amazed at the change in Kosim which now has its advantages. Then he sat down next to Mahmud and examined his chest.

Abah Dul smiled happily to see Mahmud's chest that was no longer blackish red due to the hit of a woman with a wealth.

"Where have you been, Sim, here is worried about you." Said Mahmud who looked fit again.

Kosim then told everything from the incident in mess and on the way home.

Cosim tells;

Kosim immediately reached into his cell pocket to take a phone to call Mahmud.

"Ah, the battery's running out again." Kosim.

"Ned, Kang. I went home first. I think it's cloudy" Kosim said to his co-workers who were fixing the message.

"Yes Mas, mature new yo..." Sahut his friends with Javanese language Timuran.

Kosim rushes to the motorcycle parked beside the mess. Then it passed leaving the area of the housing project to coincide with the sound of the azan Isya time from the mosque toa.

......................

Rain spots began to fall accompanied by a motorcycle riding Kosim who has now been driving on the Pantura highway. The streets are a bit leisurely just four-wheeled vehicles and motorcycles and occasionally overtake the dominating small trucks. These hours large vehicles such as containers and large trucks usually choose toll roads.

Kosim motorbike racing is not too fast but also not too slow. The needle on the speedo meter sometimes shows being at the number 65 sometimes down to 50 km/h.

Although the raindrops drenched his jeans, it did not stop Kosim to continue the journey home.

For a while Kosim drove his motorcycle. Suddenly the sound of a car horn from behind surprised him enough, Kosim immediately marginalized his path a little.

A yellow truck overtakes him on his right side. As soon as he passed, Kosim's eyes were fixed on the writing behind the truck that was clearly plastered in front of his eyes.

"Engkar Man"

The deg! Kosim's heart is pounding. The large, blood-red writing on the back of the truck shocked Kosim and left him with no consistency until his motorcycle took off for a moment.

Lucky not to fall but enough to make Kosim deg-degan and tremble.

Kosim immediately pulled over his motorcycle and stopped in front of the courtyard of a food stall that closed to win his condition.

Amidst the raindrops Kosim was stunned as he continued to look after the truck until it was no longer visible.

"Sound! The writing was meant for me" murmured Kosim.

"Oh, maybe it's just a coincidence!" Kosim's heart calmed itself.

Either a coincidence or indeed the act of a monkey demon that obscures the eyes of Cosim so hallucinating. But the writing on the back of the truck made Kosim prejudiced and felt like it was purposely intended for him.

Until the 13th day in the heart of Kosim admitted that he as a man who denies the supernatural covenant is even trying to fight it.

"Astagfirullah, it's Friday night." said Kosim as he hung over his motorcycle.

Soon Kosim turned on his motorcycle and drove back on the pantura highway. This time Kosim drove his motorcycle faster to get home.
