Chapter 63: Before Going to the Empire

Fermund was now with Levina in a room, they were just the two of them and talking to each other.

"Levina, are you serious, you don't want to go home and stay here?"

Levina nodded, saying "why, why can't I, too, am a royal family worthy to stay in the palace"

"That's true, but if you're here, what about your uncles and aunts, they'll be lonely" Fermund reasoned

Fermund gave up and allowed her to choose a room she liked.

Fermund left and headed for his study, he met all his assistants who were busy taking care of the problems related to military changes in the territory he conquered.

Fermund sat on his bench and began to discuss by writing some commands.

Troops in his conquered territories had to wear the royal armor of Svardia, all the Valmurg armor they released would be used by some for the manufacture of armor.

The distribution of elemental weapons was also done, all of those regions were training an army of archers and javelin throwers to become Sky Hunter and receive elemental weapons.

"How is the production process of armor, and has it been spread?" Ask Fermund

"At this time we make a lot of armor and stored, when it is near the appropriate amount, the armor will be distributed to all the former territory of the kingdom of Valmurg"

Fermund nodded his head, he suddenly remembered something, and he asked his assistant.

"What about the management of all the resources in our conquered territories, how come the eight nobles have encountered difficulties?"

The assistant shook his head and said "everything goes well, they manage it well, as usual all mines will be state-owned and managed by the center."

Fermund was relieved to hear that, he was calm if everything went smoothly as he wished, and he was now also making some arrangements for the nobles, in the utilization of the land they controlled, in order to gain control,Fermund plans to deploy agricultural experts to educate all his subjects about more efficient agriculture.

Fermund seems to be going to do an intensive agricultural movement with planting plants that can be food ingredients such as wheat, barley, making fruit and vegetable plantations planting herbal plants and spices.

He wrote an announcement to some plant experts across the kingdom to unite in a large agricultural community that would be formed by Fermund, the goal of the community to make the kingdom's agriculture more efficient.

"Give this paper to the prime minister, if it can be realized quickly, then it's better"

An assistant of his took the letter and left the room, and Fermund was still there handling and supervising his assistant while doing state duties.

The sound of knocking on the door was heard, butler assassin telling Fermund that the imperial envoy had arrived.

Fermund headed for his throne room, he sat on his throne, around which there was Levina and two sisters with Juvel.

After waiting for a while, the mission in the waiting room was ushered in by the soldiers.

"Your highness, I've sent his messenger, I'm resigning"

The messenger was wearing imperial armor, he was accompanied by three people wearing yellow robes.

The luxurious coffin was presented to Fermund, and the messenger opened the coffin.

The guard soldiers guarding the right and left sides were wide-eyed at the gold and some small magic stones that were in the chest.

"Then I will accept this, and it just so happens that the head of the royal magician is in need of all those magic stones" Fermund said turning his gaze to Juvel

The envoy said one more thing to Fermund, telling Fermund about the two-state alliance.

"King Fermund, I also delivered something from the emperor"

"Say" said Fermund

"The emperor has decided to form an alliance with the kingdom of Svardia, if you can you can come to the imperial capital to hold formalities"

All the guard soldiers just silently heard that, they glanced at their king, while his cousin and sister were a little surprised and turned towards Fermund.

Seeing everyone looking at Fermund, he nodded and turned to look at the messenger.

"Then I will accept it, tomorrow I will go there with my bodyguards, and hopefully after the alliance is formed, I hope our two countries can become more prosperous"

Hearing that the messenger looked down and resigned and returned home.

Feona looked at her older sister and also questioned Fermund's decision.

"Sister, why did you decide to form an alliance, and they told you like that, do they think my brother is someone who is easy to tell."

Fermund laughed at Feona's words, standing from his throne and stroking Feona's head.

"Why do you think like that, with this alliance it is not that the empire will not attack us and become our friend, moreover if they really declare war on me, then,I'll go lead all the troops and slaughter them"

Feona smiled at what her brother said, and Levina who saw that immediately said something that insinuated Feona.

"Indeed, the youngest son who loved his mother more than his brother was great"

Feona was offended to hear that and put on an angry expression that looked cute, everyone who was there saw their royal family relations getting along.

"Because tomorrow big brother will go to the imperial capital, then I will accompany him as usual" cried Felis

"Wait!, that's not fair, why must you always accompany brother, this time I'm the one who left!" Feona said shouted

"I'm your oldest brother, don't call me you but call me eldest brother, haha" Felis said

Fermund who saw his sister's quarrel told them to change places to talk because it was embarrassing to be seen by the soldiers.

"If you want to talk, you better change places, and Miss Juvel, you can take all those magic stones,"

Juvel was happy and towards the chest, she opened the dimensional storage magic and inserted one by one the magic stones into the black portal of her storage.
