Western land.
Since the beginning of the land in Japan is divided into four parts, namely, north, west, south and east tens of thousands of years ago, western land is the most prominent area and makes everyone amazed.
History records long ago; north; snake reigns, south; wolf reigns, east; fox leads and west—anjing becomes king.
King of the land west—inuyoukai of the west. Who doesn't know them? In a world where the law of the jungle prevails, a world where the strong live and the weak die; the inuyoukai of the very strong west are at the severed. Then, of all the inuyoukai that exist, the leader of the inuyoukai clan itself; the ruler—he is the peak of all peaks.
The blood of the ruler of the western lands that flowed to his descendants, his successor—they all lived according to the blood that flowed in their veins; the true Youkai with strength that stood at the height of the law of the jungle.
Strength, wisdom, honor, pride and self-esteemall the rulers of the western lands are the most perfect embodiment of a true noble of a true youkai.
That is why the West has always prospered. Under the leadership of the ruler, his realm covered the whole of Japan. A fertile land with abundant natural resources, as well as subordinates who swore the blood of a lifetime loyalty to the ruler, namely; powerful youkai clans in Japan
Lalu—north land.
The northern land where snakes rule. With an area of power that was only half the size of the western lands; cold, arid and lacking natural resources. The ground where the division and hollowing continue to repeat itself without stopping.
The northern land is an area that cannot be compared to the strong and victorious western lands, both from the vast area, natural resources, subordinates and also the leadership—.
Shui was born into the main family of the northern land ruling line, and even though he was not born as a snake, but because of his extraordinary strength, he remained one of the candidates for the ruler of the western lands just like Takeru.
Raised in the palace with Takeru as the future ruler, Shui could clearly see everything in the northern lands; the impoverished areas with arid lands, then most importantly— the betrayal.
The northern land was a land of chaos, which was why, when little Shui managed to leave the northern land palace to escape the assassins who were eyeing his life and met Inu No Taisho, he saw; great and glorious western land.
So different from the poor and treacherous northern lands, the western lands were extremely rich and prosperous; a land where pride, honor and pride were held in high esteem.
Shui could only think, how good it would be if he was the future ruler of the western land—it would be nice if the west would be his home, not; north. If he was the son of Inu No Taisho the ruler of the western lands who was so perfect, he knew, he could have everything— a brilliant future with incomparable pride and honor.
But, he, Shui was not the son of Inu No Taisho—himself did not have the blood of the western inuyoukai ruling family that was so revered. That was why, he did everything he could to own the western lands.
Then—Sesshoumaru born. The rightful heir of the western lands, the true inuyoukai with the blood of the purest descendant of the ruler of the western lands, and Shui knew; the destroyer of his future.
It was only because of the blood that Shui lost to Sesshoumaru— that it was blood that he lost the western lands. How could he accept that? The western lands are his, not Sesshoumaru.
Shui knew it was time that would answer everything who was really entitled to the land of the west. Refraining and waiting, the time is drawing near, and soon, he will soon show the defunct Inu No Taisho and all that is in the world; he is the true ruler of the West.
"During time not to meet, Rin." Sapa Shui was friendly, a smile filled her pretty face. However, her gleeful white eyes full of madness looked straight at Rin as well as her big belly.
"Shui-sama, when did you arrive west?" rin asked quietly with a smile. However, vigilance filled his heart, as he looked at the awkwardness in the white eyes that usually glowed gently full of hospitality.
Kagome and Sango could also clearly feel the strangeness on Shui's face. Vigilance soon filled the heart. Quickly, they ordered the children to stand behind.
The grinning left filled with anger looked at Shui. He did not know how the white-eyed youkai could appear suddenly like this. The moment his aura was felt, this neutral land leader had darted and was heading at incredible speed to the room where Rin was.
The left did not know what Shui's purpose was, but looking at his eyes, the western land's kisaki personal guard knew, his purpose was not something of good faith.
"I've just arrived, Rin," Shui replied, the smile on his face growing wider. His white eyes glowed more and more joyful and full of madness fixed on Rin's stomach. "I haven't said it to you; congratulations on your pregnancy, Rin."
"Thank you." Rin replied with a smile that remained on her pale face.
"Congratulations," Shui laughed and directed his gaze sideways at the figure of an inuyoukai who did not know since when he had been beside Rin. "—Sesshoumaru."
Sesshoumaru did not say anything, even he seemed to care less about Shui. Squatting down, his two golden eyes looked at Rin who quickly returned his gaze with a smile.
"Rin is fine, Sesshoumaru-sama," Rin knows the meaning of Sesshoumaru's eye view even though the inuyoukai said nothing. Moving his right hand, he touched the hand of the ruler of the western land gently. "Shura is fine too."
"You came uninvited, white," Inukimi's voice suddenly sounded. "And, it's rude to appear suddenly in front of a room like this."
Looking up at the source of the voice, Rin finds Inukimi standing at the door of the room with Kira. His brown eyes could also see Inuyasha and Miroku running into the room towards Kagome, Sango and the children.
"I want to congratulate Rin, after all the child in her womb is the granddaughter of the older sister," Shui replied with a small laugh and turned his face to Inukimi. "If I don't show up like this, you can't possibly let me meet him, right?"
"You're right," Inukimi replied with a cynical laugh. His golden eyes stared intently at Shui full of dislike. "It looks like you're no longer wearing your honorable youkai mask. You deserve it more like this."
Shui laughed even louder at Inukimi's words. Slowly, he turned his gaze back to Sesshoumaru and Rin. A smile filled his face. "I have come to convey something to you Sesshoumaru, Rin."
Sesshoumaru did not react to Shui's words. With an expressionless flat face, he silently stared silently at the white-eyed youkai.
"What do you want to say, Shui-sama?" ask Rin slowly. Of everything in the room and outside, she was the only one who still smiled at Shui.
"You know, Rin," Shui replied quietly and smiled broadly at Rin. "You have ruined the balance of this world."
Shui's reply instantly made Inuyasha and the others stunned. But not for Rin, Sesshoumaru, Inukimi, Kiri and Kira.
"Humans are not supposed to be the kisaki of the youkai," continued Shui again as he looked up at the noon sky above him. "Dan—hanyou shouldn't be the heir to the youkai land."
Lowering her head to look at Sesshoumaru, a smile filled Shui's face. His white eyes sparkling happily were abnormal. "Therefore, Sesshoumaru. Lower Rin from her throne and also pull your words to your only heir."
"What??!" inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Sango exclaimed in surprise.
To Kiri and Kira, the two of them growled furiously exposing their long fangs. Both of their golden eyes had also now turned blood red staring at Shui.
Only Sesshoumaru, Inukimi and—Rin remained calm hearing what Shui said. There was not the slightest change in expression on their faces.
"If Sesshoumaru doesn't want to?" ask Inukimi later. There was no anger he felt, instead he desperately held back the laughter that would slide out of his mouth. This was the best joke he had heard all this while—neutral lands dared to suppress the western lands?
"You know the consequences," Shui's smile answered Inukimi's question. "This is not my desire as a neutral land leader, but rather the common desire of the lands of the north, the east and perhaps also of the south."
Not caring for all who were staring at her, Shui continued to speak happily. "South has not yet given an answer, but just wait for time," looking at Sesshoumaru again, he smiled again. "This is the wish of the youkai world, Sesshoumaru."
Consequently—everyone knows; war. The desire of the youkai world, Shui today comes with ill intentions and threats.
Sesshoumaru remained silent giving no reaction. His two golden eyes that were staring at Shui were also flat emotionless.
"Sadly," said Inuyasha, who couldn't bear to hear what Shui had said. "What is the balance of the world?? Man, hanyou, what's wrong, damn it??!!"
Inuyasha's angry shout made Shui even more joyful. "Inuyasha," he called. "Humans become kisaki lands west and hanyou will become heir. The balance is broken, sooner or later, man will rule the world. War has broken out—you've heard, haven't you? The destroyed youkai village. Ah—you have even seen it yourself not long ago; the humans who attacked the youkai palace of the western lands. Humans become more courageous and powerful because they think they can rule youkai, just as human women become youkai kisaki and hanyou will become youkai rulers. Humans cannot rule youkai, nor can hanyou."
"Don't make me laugh with your nonsense!!" hardik Inuyasha hard. His anger is growing.
Kagome did not say anything hearing Shui's words. He thought in his heart. Humans outperform youkai. In terms of physical strength and survival, as well as the age limit, youkai is far superior to humans, but—why in the future does his place of origin have no youkai? Where are all the youkai going? What the hell's going on? Is what Shui said true, this is why humans outperform youkai?
"Have you finished talking?" the voice of Sesshoumaru who was silent from earlier suddenly sounded and made everyone look at him.
Sesshoumaru's facial expression remained unchanged in the slightest, as did his flat voice. "Since when do neutral lands, north, east and south have the right to interfere in western lands?"
Everything Shui said did not actually surprise Sesshoumaru in the least. The ruined youkai village, the invading man, Kenji's letter asking him to be careful on neutral—the ruler of the western lands had expected it though not thinking it would turn out this way, and did Sesshoumaru care?—ansiannya; no. gabe.
Man becomes a kisaki youkai and hanyou becomes heir to the throne youkai—Sesshoumaru already knows the consequences that exist. For the great and victorious west, the enemy will watch, looking for opportunities to profit.
Lalu—Shura's chat.
The blood of his flesh, his offspring; his son. To whom else would he inherit all his inheritance and their family so long and great?—Shura, he was the sole heir of the blood of the rightful ruler of the western lands. For pride and self-esteem—honor the land of the west; Sesshoumaru will not submit to anyone.
As he said, whoever dares to come, the west will welcome him. Humans or youkai, the human world and the world of youkai—for Sesshoumaru it makes no difference.
Inukimi suddenly laughed out loud. Trying to hold back her laughter, she looked at Shui. "White," he called slowly with a smile. "It turns out this is what you were after?—you, right? the mastermind who was behind the scenes of what was happening lately? Fuck Taisho will clap for you in the world there. "
"You have no proof, Inukimi-san." Shui replied smiling. Sesshoumaru and Inukimi can guess the exact role of the father that happened did not surprise him, because Kenji who left him could not be silent. The monkey must have asked the west to be careful.
Staring at Sesshoumaru back, Shui's smile grew wider. "So what's your answer, Sesshoumaru?"
"Come, the west will welcome you all." Sesshoumaru replied flatly as if what he said had no meaning at all.
Shui desperately held the excitement in his heart hearing Sesshoumaru's reply. As per his prediction, inuyoukai with pride and high self-esteem it really answered without thinking the plan has been perfect.
Slowly, Shui turned his face to look at Rin who had been silently silent not saying anything. Laughing little, he asked, "What about you, Rin? Sesshoumaru didn't want to do it—are you willing to abdicate and stop Sesshoumaru's intention of elevating your son as heir?"
Shui's question made everything look up to Rin. The human woman's face was flat, no more smiles that usually always adorned.
"You've got the answer, damn it! Why ask Rin again??!" sela Inuyasha is upset. Coming uninvited and making a fuss, she was eager to attack Shui using tessaiga now.
What about Rin? What would that human woman do?—everyone knows. The human woman with such a gentle and kind heart, if her existence as a western land kisaki and Shura as the heir would be a problem, would be, then he would definitely abandon his throne as well as stop Sesshoumaru's intention of appointing Shura as heir. She is a woman who is never greedy and loves only peace.
"Shui-sama," call Rin slowly then. His two clear brown eyes looked straight at Shui in front. "The balance of the world will not be disturbed because Rin becomes a kisaki of the western land."
Rin's answer made everyone who was there surprised, not least Sesshoumaru. Because, Rin's answer is an answer that is beyond their expectations.
"Rin is a human being" Rin continued again and smiled slightly. "How long can Rin sit on this throne? To all of you, it's just one blink of an eye."
"Ri." Sesshoumaru. Both eyes stared intently at Rin, the western landlord did not like the slightest bit of what he said. However, the human woman did not care, she continued her words.
"Rin has never interfered with the affairs of the youkai world even though Rin is a kisaki land west—the decision is always in the hands of Sesshoumaru-sama," Rin's voice was firm without the slightest hesitation. "If Rin's task as a western land man is a problem, then, why did you give all your duties to Rin so long ago that no one said anything?—balance shattered because of Rin; it was just an excuse to invade the western lands."
Rin was always smiling and laughing, full of gentleness as well as warmth. Therefore, seeing the serious expression and firmness of his voice, as well as the logic he spoke, everything there was— was stunned. There was nothing wrong with his explanation, as indeed long ago, long before becoming Sesshoumaru's legal partner, he had carried out all duties as a kisaki of the western lands.
"Lalu—Shura," in an unchanging voice, Rin lowered her gaze on her stomach. His eyes then softened, his hands caressing the child affectionately in the womb. "My son..."
Shura, his son and Sesshoumaru—their precious son. Rin inevitably can only think, how hard his son's life will be. The human world wants his death, and the youkai world rejects his existence—just because his son is a; hanyou.
Hanyou—half human and half youkai. The existence of two worlds that cannot be united. Existence that is said to be taboo by both parties.
But where is his mistake? Shura's existence is proof of her love—something that is a miracle in this world. There is no harm in being born a hanyou, only this world can not accept it. Therefore, Rin thinks, will he ask Sesshoumaru to retract his words that will inherit the western land of Shura? Will he do that for the sake of life in their child's future?
Shura, the son of the west. His father's blood flowing in his veins—darah inuyoukai the great and victorious ruler of the western lands, he was entitled to the full possession of the western lands; for indeed that was his legitimate blood heritage.
Her title as heir, self-esteem, pride and honor from the blood flowing in her son's pulse will she as a mother stain him?
Closing her brown eyes, Rin smiled slightly. Ah, he's conscious. Shura is innocent. The real fault is with himself; for his weak blood will flow in his son's pulse—for he is; man.
Rin could not give anything to Shura. Since being in her womb, her existence as a human being will continue to give trouble to her son—she is a useless mother.
But, love. Her love as a mother to the son in her womb—how great and in that love. He expected nothing, only the happiness and safety of his son.
We-we're the same.
Rin never again prayed to us-sama. Because he knows, we-sama does not exist. Back when he lost his family and was alone in this world, he already knew, we-sama was just an illusion; an illusion. Back then, he kept praying his family was still alive and he was not alone; praying was all a nightmare. But his—do was never granted; we-sama was not real.
But, this time he was willing to pray to an existence that he knew was unreal. Once again in his life, he would pray to us-sama and trust his whereabouts. If the fault is in his blood, if his blood will weaken his son and make him lose everything that is rightfully his, then—pull his blood.
People say that a mother's prayer is the most mustajab prayer. A mother's sincere prayer is a prayer that can penetrate the sky— therefore Rin prays to us-sama.
Rin will not pass her blood on to Shura. Human blood will not flow in his son's veins. Hanyou was not a mistake, but if a hanyou would burden his son's life, then, for his son, he would give birth to him as a true youkai—.
Opening her eyes, Rin raised her head back to look at Shui. The two brown eyes were clear full of seriousness, confidence and decisiveness. "My son will not be born as hanyou. Shura—he will be born a true youkai."
Rin's words once again stunned everything, and because of her clear and brilliant eyes, no one could say anything to refute her, including; Shui.
"The existence of Shura will not destroy the balance of the world. Completely, he will be in the youkai world as he should."
Slowly, Rin then turned her serious face to Sesshoumaru. Staring at her straight he then smiled as beautifully as spring. "Rin's human blood won't make him hanyou. Shura will be born as a true Inuyoukai of high self-worth. Handsome, wise and strong, like you Sesshoumaru-sama."
"Rin.." Sesshoumaru was really very stunned by Rin's revelation. For years he had known this human woman, never had he seen her hidden side like this.
Closing his eyes, Rin then took a breath. As he opened his eyes again, seriousness and firmness again filled his face, "Therefore, Sesshoumaru-sama—maintained. Inheritance of Shura, honor of Shura; honor of land west—Rin as kisaki land west ordered; fight."
Shura is the heir of the western lands, the ruler of the western lands in the future—he western lands themselves in the future. Shura's honor is the honor of the land west—Rin will not let anyone step on it.
Warring.
The words Rin said made everyone look at him in disbelief. Rin who stopped the two wars now asked Sesshoumaru to fight?—fight against the whole youkai world?
Sesshoumaru's heart skipped a beat. Hearing and looking into Rin's clear eyes right now, he couldn't find a word to express what she was feeling.
Kisaki's.
The one in front of him now was a—kisaki. The youkai world says that Rin does not deserve to sit on the throne as a western land kisaki, but they are wrong, because in reality, this woman is the only existence most worthy of sitting on the singsana chair.
Though the whole world drew a sword at him, he was not afraid. He remained standing tall to guard the honor of the western lands. Wisdom and courage, gentleness and kindness, self-respect and—honor; Rinlah kisaki the most perfect western land ever.
Moving his right hand, Sesshoumaru lifted Rin's hair and kissed her gently. His two eyes shone with pride staring at his beloved kisak. "This sesshoumaru understands, Kisakiku," he said with a smile. "Honor Shura, honor land west—Sesshoumaru this will take care of it."
Sesshoumaru's words made Kiri and Kira who saw and heard the talk of the ruler and his kisak realized. Kneeling down to face Rin, the two twin inuyoukai saluted with faces full of pride. "We're two brothers from the west, got it, kisaki-sama."
Inukimi smiled with pride. His adopted daughter, his son-in-law, kisaki lands west after himself—he did not choose wrong. The honor of the western land, although an ordinary man, Rin can take care of him—the human woman deserves to sit on the throne of the throne.
Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, Sango and the children were speechless a thousand languages saw what happened. For children, it's because they don't understand what's happening. But, to their parents, they were silent because what happened was shocking. They now see Rin with a different view. Her words, her attitude, her upbringing and her orders, the gentle human woman was always full of surprises.
Shui stared dislikefully at what he saw. Looking at Rin's attitude now, he felt confused and incredulous. The white-eyed Youkai was sure, if he asked Rin, then the human woman would definitely cry and plead with Sesshoumaru to comply with the demands he made. He asks the human woman for wanting to see Rin's desperate face and Sesshoumaru's helpless face.
But—it's okay. His goal here and his desire from the beginning did not expect the west to accept neutral demands. So, even though what happened was not as perfect as he planned, his ultimate goal had been fulfilled—war.
Putting a smile on her face, Shui laughed. "alright. If this is the answer land west—I understand."
Reversing his body, the neutral land leader then walked away with a smile and eyes that shone full of madness. "See you on the battlefield, Sesshoumaru.."
