Chapter 90's

The birds chirped on top of the branches of the cherry trees and the wind gently blew the fallen petals of the cherry blossoms down. The warm light of the morning sun illuminated the bedroom of the ruler of the western land located in the pavilion of the western earthen palace.

In the room, on top of a large futon, an inuyoukai fell asleep while tightly hugging a human woman. White blankets covered their innocent bodies without a thread.

Slowly, the closed inuyoukai eyes opened, and the first thing he saw was the face of the woman in his arms.

In the morning light, clad in her left hand as a pillow, the woman fell asleep quietly. The woman's starless long black hair was beautifully decomposed on the futon, snow-like white skin, long, wiry eyelashes, a pointed nose, and so on, cheeks and lips blooming like petals–however the sight in front of it grabs the attention of the inuyoukai.

Closing his eyes slowly, Rin raised his left hand to touch Sesshoumaru's hand. The smile did not disappear from his face.

The beautiful smiling woman, warms the whole heart of Sesshoumaru. Sleep at night, wake up in the morning. If this woman was always there to accompany him at night and smile like this for him in the morning–he would fall asleep every day.

"You okay, Rin?" ask Sesshoumaru slowly. Those golden eyes kept looking straight at his wife, filled with gentleness, but also worry. Many times he hugged the woman last night, what if the human body was not injured?

Rin opened her eyes again hearing Sesshoumaru's question. Instantly, both of his cheeks met red. He knew clearly what the inuyoukai question meant. Lowering her gaze to avoid the question, the human woman found their bodies not wearing any clothing covered in blankets.

Rin's red face became increasingly red. What happened last night, he clearly remembered everything. Sesshoumaru had embraced her overnight, in their relationship that had changed completely–as a husband to a wife.

Rin's attitude made Sesshoumaru smile again. Moving the hand that was on Rin's cheek, he raised the woman's face until their eyes met.

"You okay, Rin?" asked the inuyoukai once again, his voice was still slow, however, there were still worries tucked away.

Nibbling on her lower lip, with a red face and brown eyes that were watering in shame, Rin then shook her head. "R-rin is fine, Sesshoumaru-sama.."

"Good," laughed Sesshoumaru softly. Staring more gently, he then moved and slowly peeked at his wife's forehead. "You don't have to be ashamed of everything that happened, Rin."

Sesshoumaru's words stunned Rin, but for a moment, he smiled. Although her face was still flushed, the woman then nodded her head. "R-rin understands.."

Laughing once more, Sesshoumaru then pulled the woman's body into his tight embrace. The skin and skin that touched behind the blanket, made them both feel warmth and comfort.

Closing his eyes, Rin then placed his head on Sesshoumaru's chest. His ears could hear clearly, the rhythm of the inuyoukai's heartbeat was stable and peaceful. Then, the more he heard it, he was also aware, the semblance of their heartbeat–seulas a smile back on his beautiful face.

"Sesshoumaru-sama," call Rin then slowly. With his eyes still closed and head on that inuyoukai chest, laughed. "Rin is dreaming."

"You're not dreaming, Rin." Reply Sesshoumaru slowly. The left hand that hugged Rin's waist tightened, while the right hand moved gently caressing the wife's long black hair.

Shaking his head, Rin then broke free from Sesshoumaru's embrace. Sitting beside that inuyoukai, he then opened his eyes. A smile on her beautiful face. "Being the wife of Sesshoumaru-sama, Rin's dream has come true Rin–now Rin lives in a dream."

The woman who sat in front of him and looked at him softly. Uncovered by a thread in the morning sun, with black hair down, brilliant brown eyes filled with endless love, as well as a smile as beautiful and warm as spring–Sesshoumaru stunned; fascinated.

"Therefore, will Sesshoumaru-sama accompany Rin in knitting this dream?"

A soft voice with a strange question. But, so warm-hearted was it, how true everything was as it should be. When he got up, Sesshoumaru used his right hand to recapture the woman's cheek. In the main building of the western land palace, the youkai and hanyou in the western region knelt staring at the ruler of the western land and his kisakinya.

Kagome who carried Shiro laughed at Sango's words, but she agreed, the little girl has indeed grown up–she has become a kisaki who is respected and loved by all who exist. "Time passes quickly."

Staring again at Sesshoumaru and Rin, Kagome smiled again. Seeing the human woman take the oath and ask the youkai and hanyou to stand up, he again thought, how beautiful the story between the two of them is. More beautiful than the story of cinderella or sleeping beauty ever heard. The story of the daiyoukai and the human girl he brought to life–he will tell this story to his grandchildren in the future.

"I think I'm really late." The heavy voice of a man suddenly rang out filling the main hall of the western land palace.

Simultaneously, everyone turned their heads to look at the source of the voice. From outside the wide-open main door, their eyes could see a group of youkai walking in slowly.

The group numbered ten youkai who stood in two rows, complete with white armor. Both male and female, their charming faces were flat with no expression.

"Shui-sama?" call Rin surprised to see the youkai that suddenly appears.

The youkai and hanyou lands west that were in front of Sesshoumaru and Rin paved the way for the blue-haired youkai once he saw it. However, their eyes all stared warily and also at the confusion of the figure.

Shui smiled increasingly wide looking at Rin. Walking past the western youkai and hanyou, he then stopped while not far from Sesshoumaru and Rin.

Sesshoumaru did not say anything upon seeing Shui's presence. His face was calm with no expression, but, his golden eyes clearly followed every move of the blue-haired youkai.

"You came, Shui-sama?–thank you, Rin is very happy." Rin's laughter came. His two brown eyes sparkled at the youkai in front of him.

Shui's white eyes were directed at Rin. Looking at the figure of the human girl who had now become a woman, as well as the crescent moon mark on the neck and the meido seki, the blue-haired youkai laughed softly. "You really grew up to be very beautiful, Rin."

"Thank you for your praise, Shui-sama." Rin's smile again.

Shui's eyes looked gently at Rin's smile. Two years passed, but this human woman had not changed at all, remaining warm and charming. She keeps blooming and blooming–beautiful cherry blossoms in spring.

Shui's eyes were then turned on Sesshoumaru who stood silently looking at him. The smile on his face widened, his white eyes sparkling with unreadable emotions. "You're getting more and more like big brother, Sesshoumaru."

Sesshoumaru remained unanswered, he was still silent.

Shui laughed at Inukimi's words. He looked at the inuyoukai and smiled again. "You're right, Inukimi-san."

"Who is that?" said Inuyasha who from earlier saw the conversation between Sesshoumaru, Rin, Shui and Inukimi confused.

Inuyasha did not know who the blue-haired youkai was, but from the aura it felt, his instincts said that he was a dangerous youkai. Then, from the way all the western youkai and hanyou looked at him as well as the attitude of Sesshoumaru and Inukimi–youkai it seemed to have an unusual status.

"The youkai is Shui, the white of the neutral." Answer Kenji's voice suddenly from beside Inuyasha who immediately made the innuanyou jump in surprise.

"Shoppers!! Don't appear suddenly beside me!!" inuyasha shouted annoyedly as he stared intently at the monkey youkai.

"Shui? The white?" yang Kohaku was surprised. Both of his eyes were in disbelief. "An honorable one from neutral ground?"

Kagome, Miroku, Sango, Shippo and Kaeda were also staring in disbelief at the youkai figure in front.

Kenji nodded his head while stroking his long beard. "I didn't think he was coming."

"The white? Neutral land? What's that?" inuyasha asked again. He had absolutely no idea why everyone was staring at the surprised foreign figure.

"Neutral land is land without owners, Inuyasha. They had no rulers like west, east, north or south. However, all neutral clans uphold and obey a youkai. That youkai is Shui, the white one. Simple language, he's a neutral youkai leader."

Kenji explained Inuyasha's question without looking at the innuanyou, both eyes still focused on Shui speaking to Inukimi.

"then, Shui is the adopted home of Taisho, your father, Inuyasha."

"Eh??"

"What??"

All who are back staring Kenji can not believe hear the explanation of the monkey youkai?–adik adoptive father Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha?

"But beware of him. Shui it–dangerous."

Kenji's warning instantly made Inuyasha and the others confused. However, not yet they were aware of the shock that existed, Shui who was in front suddenly turned his head around staring at that inuhanyou and the others.

"You're Inuyasha, aren't you?" shui asked with a friendly laugh. "Come here, let me see you with your family."

Inuyasha and Kagome looked back at Shui upon hearing the neutral youkai leader's words. But they don't move. Kenji's warning just now was still palpable in the mind, and despite a friendly smile, they still felt something strange from the figure in plain sight.

"Curtainly," Inuyasha's piqued and folded the hand. "Why should I obey your words?"

Inuyasha's words and attitude stunned Shui, but then, he laughed. Stepping slowly, the neutral youkai leader approached the inuhanyou and his family.

Inuyasha, Kagome and the others were instantly on guard as Shui arrived in front of them. Their eyes stared fixedly at each of the youkai's movements.

Shui scanned Inuyasha's cautious face. The smile on his face grew wider. "You don't look at all like Big Brother, Inuyasha. You don't look like your mother eitheryou look like who, huh?"

Shui's words once again filled Inuyasha's heart. "What do you mean??"

But, Shui did not care, he turned his head to look at Kagome and then fell on Shiro who was in the arms of the future miko.

"Your son doesn't look like Big Brother either." Shui said with a sigh. "Darlingly, I wish my granddaughter would be similar to my dead sister."

Not caring for Inuyasha who was still looking at her in annoyance, Shui then stepped foot back to where Sesshoumaru, Rin and Inukimi were.

"I won't bother you anymore" Smile Shui then. His white eyes glinted at the figure of Sesshoumaru who clearly did not like his sudden presence. "I just came to congratulate Rin."

"Eh?" rin who was silent from earlier.

"Congratulations Rin," Shui laughed softly. His eyes glowed gently staring at the western earth kisaki who was looking at him straight. "I'm sorry I couldn't attend your wedding. But, I'm right to congratulate you on getting married and becoming a Westerner."

Shui's gentle speech and gaze made Rin smile. "Thank you, Shui-sama. Rin is very happy."

Rin's smile made Shui smile again. Not caring about anyone who was in the main room of the western land palace, slowly, he stepped closer to the western land kisaki. Raising her right hand, she intended to touch the cheeks that were blushing as beautiful as rose petals.

However, Sesshoumaru who was beside Rin suddenly pulled the woman into his arms. His two golden eyes that mingled slightly in red stared intently at Shui's killing intent.

"Take care, Shui." Sesshoumaru's voice was flat without intonation. But, all could clearly hear the threat and warning inside. The main hall of the originally warm western palace immediately became heavily pressurized.

Shui was stunned by Sesshoumaru's attitude. Lowering his hands, he then laughed out loud. Nothing funny, but the neutral youkai leader laughed as if he saw something very funny.

Rin who was confused by Sesshoumaru's attitude and Shui frowned. Looking at the figure of the uncle and nephew, he felt something was wrong.

"I won't bother you guys anymore" Shui said later as he had stopped laughing. A friendly smile reappeared on his face. "I'm going home to my house now, Sesshoumaru. No need to drive me."

Bending her body until her eyes were in line with Rin in Sesshoumaru's arms, Shui's smile grew wider. "I'm glad you're happy, Rin. Therefore, perfect your happiness as soon as possible–lah a son who is like a brother to the land of the west."

Sesshoumaru's golden eyes turned blood red upon hearing Shui's words. Both of his lips lifted revealing a grin of anger.

However, Shui did not care, he again laughed out loud and turned around. Walking slowly, not caring for anyone who looked at him, he and his entourage walked out of the main hall of the western earthen palace.

Rin who was in Sesshoumaru's embrace could clearly see the changing mood of the ruler of the western lands. Touching the soft cheek of her husband, she asked quietly. "What's up, Sesshoumaru-sama?"

A warm touch resuscitated Sesshoumaru from his anger. Instantly, his blood-red eyes turned back into gold. Staring at the woman in his arms, he answered slowly the question. "It's okay."

Rin nodded his head slowly hearing Sesshoumaru's reply. Although his heart was still full of questions and felt that something was wrong, he did not ask more. If the inuyoukai was unwilling to explain, he would not force it.

Smiling back, Rin then laughed. "Good."

Sesshoumaru looked at the smile and laughter of Rin who was still in his arms. Closing his eyes, he then tightened the embrace until the face of the western earth kisaki was hidden in his chest.

Sayings Shui–happiness Rin. Sesshoumaru could catch the bad intentions of the honorable from the neutral territory.

Opening his eyes again, his golden eyes turned blood red again. Gazing out the open door, staring at the figure of Shui's disappeared back, a grin of anger reappeared on the handsome face of the ruler of the western land.

Sesshoumaru did not care. Although Shui was the foster sister of his father, even though the blue-haired youkai was the leader of the neutral region–he would kill and destroy anyone who dared to disturb Rin's happiness.
