The Chapter 140

Standing in the endless darkness, Rin opened her closed brown eyes slowly. In a place that was familiar to him, he stood alone in silence with an expressionless face.

"My beloved Rink.."

A strange voice calling out his name sounded from behind. Instantly, her expressionless face changed, a smile filled Rin's beautiful face. Reversing his body, he stared at the source of the voice he knew was who. "Meido!!"

In front of Rin now, Meido Seki who is in the form of a ball of light shines warm and bright, expelling the darkness that exists. "My beloved Rinku." call her softly. "Is this worth it?"

Meido seki was silent again. Sighing quietly, he flew up to be right in front of Rin. "Rinku dear, I want to tell you..," her voice sounded very sad. "—you will not be able to reincarnate again. A soul that resists death can never enter the circle of reincarnation..."

Rin fell silent not to reply to Meido seki's words. Stunned, even for a moment, he smiled again. "It's okay."

Slowly, Rin's eyes then fell on Shura who was beside her. With his eyes closed, the little inuyoukai fell asleep with tears on his face. Her little hand clasped tightly onto the mother's black hair, as if afraid that if she let go, she would lose it.

"Shura.." call Rin slowly. Lowering her hand that was on Sesshoumaru's cheek, she gently stroked her son's head affectionately. "Sorry Rin made you cry.."

Feeling the touch of the mother, Shura moved in her sleep. His mouth was open and closed, but he did not wake up. The heiress of the western lands was still soundly asleep.

There was a feeling of guilt in Rin's heart seeing Shura now. His son who had never cried all this time—how long had he cried because of her?
