Why Breakup?

Why Breakup?
CHAPTER 29: Surprised by Facts

“Hai, Dance. Can I join here?”

Mentari stopped her mouthful, she looked up as someone approached her desk. He circulated his gaze, looking at the tables around which turned out to be full by other visitors.

The mentor smiled clumsyly, he nodded finally. It was also impossible for him to refuse the request of the person before him, although honestly he was quite surprised when he met at this place and was not comfortable being close to that person.

“Bby, mbak. Please sit aja.”

Amita, he's the one. He kept a tray filled with food, then sat facing Mentari who again enjoyed his meal. “I don't think I met you here.” said Amita, she sipped her drink.

Mentari chuckles, “This is a public place, mbak. So, do not rule out the possibility if we meet here.” replied Mentari, but there is a tone of dislike that was suddenly created from the way he spoke.

Amita nodded, “Iya too. You buy something here or just look around?” amita asked, she was still trying to be friendly to Mentari whom she felt uncomfortable with her presence.

“Iya, again buy something.”

Amita smiled wryly, Mentari does not like him like him. “You're angry with me?” tanya Amita finally made Mentari look up at him.

“Anged?” Mentari frowned, shaking confusedly. “Anged for what, mbak?” tanya Mentari was confused.

Amita shook her head slowly, she just assumed. “Maybe because I'm close to Angga?” amita said, she sniffed her shoulders.

Mentari laughs blandly, “Why can't you think like that?”

“You.” attitude

“Tickness me?”

“Ya, your attitude.” Amita put her cutlery, she folded her hands in front of her chest. “You're coming to me like pointing out that you don't like me.”

“No, I am ordinary. Besides, is it not natural that the same Mr Angga is close? Mbak is his secretary, so there will be many times where mbak must continue to be the same Mr. Angga.”

“Iya. But, like you don't like me.”

“No, I'm normal aja.”

“Oh, yes? But, why are you so cute with me?”

Mentari was silent, he did not feel that way or actually did not want to admit it.

Amita pulled her lips together in a smile. “Dance... I want to explain something to you, whether you want to believe it or not, I don't care. What is clear here is that I only want to straighten out one thing with you.”

Mentari frowned, not responding and just waiting for what Amita would explain to her.

“I and Angga, we used to be neighbors. I know him very well, we are very close.” Amita quickly added, fearing that Mentari was getting misunderstood. “But, as a friend.”

“But, because there's a little problem in my family. Forced me and my family to move from that house and my relationship with Angga became a bit tenuous maybe? There was no communication between us afterwards. Until finally I came again to this City and met again Angga also Bella. And, it turns out our relationship is still the same as before. Just friends, nothing more.”

Should Mentari just believe with this Amita speech?

Amita seemed speechless, she hesitated to say it but thought it was for the good of everyone. “Me and Angga, we have the same family background. We are both from a broken home. So, maybe that's the reason why we can be friends, we can be close, yes.

Yes, Mentari knows that Mother is not the birth mother of Angga, but the mother.

“I've heard your name as Angga's girlfriend, so right we met that day I was like a stranger to you. And, it turns out that it is true, you are Mentari Angga's girlfriend. But, I was shocked because it turns out you guys have broken up.”

There has been no response from Mentari, but Amita will continue his explanation.

“Dance, honestly. I never had more feelings for Angga.” said Amita who managed to make Mentari look at him. Amita smiled, “I think Angga is just a friend, that's it, nothing more. So does Angga.”

“But, your interactions are more than just friends.” Mentari remembered the day that Angga had picked up chocolate fountain for Amita at the time.

Amita frowned, “More like how? I think our interactions are normal, not more than just the same boss secretary.”

Did Mentari misunderstand? The question began to appear in the mind of Mentari.

“I've got a girlfriend, Tari. And, we dated long enough. Angga also knows about it.”

“Gini, gini. It's up to you to think of me as bullshit, whatever, it's up to you. The point is that Angga loves you, he loves you and you love everything for him. He's sincere with you, Tari.” Amita smiled back, “I say gini not because I was told Angga or you make me reciprocate again with him. Not at all. I'm talking because I don't want you to think badly of me.”

***

“Eh, Mentari?”

Mentari who had just finished eating and returned to choosing the items he needed, looked up when he accidentally passed when he was about to take the same item.

“Pak Kelvin? Is it here too?”

Kelvin throbbing, “Ah... You instantly made me drop nih.”

Mentari frowned, not understanding Kelvin's intentions.

“Yes, you made me drop.” Kelvin nodded, “I wear outfit kece gini, very young, even called sir. Really old I think I'm tuh.” Kelvin sighed furiously. Look at his appearance now.

Still, the discussion if they meet must be there.

Mentari chuckles, “Sorry, yes, Pak—” Mentari so confused herself, how should she call Kelvin.

“Udahlah, I do not want to take a headache. It's up to you to call me Kelvin directly or put on frills sir, whatever. I don't want to be complicated.”

The mentari smiled clumsyly. Though all this time Kelvin who according to him ribet, even though the case of nicknames only.

“Oh, yes. Would you like to take this flower vase?” asked Kelvin, a flower vase in his hand where the vase was to be taken Mentari as well.

Mentari nodded, “Iya. But, the same first Mr. Kelvin. It will not be deh.”

Kelvin stared at the shelf where he took the vase, seeing if there was still the same vase or not. But, it turns out that the vase with the model is only one and it's in his hands.

“Yaudah, here's to you aja.” Kelvin held out the vase.

Mentari laughed softly, she shook her head while moving her hand rejecting Kelvin's intention. “No need, Sir. There was only one and the father took it first. So, that's for me.”

“Gakpapa, make you. Here!”

Mentari was still stubborn, he still refused.

Kelvin clucked slowly, he kept the vase in a trolley that Mentari brought.

“Yes, Sir..”

Kelvin smile, “Gakpapa.”

“Please then, Sir.”

Kelvin nods, “You like flowers, huh?”

Whether it was a question or a statement, Mentari could not distinguish. “Why can you think like that?” mentari asked, he tried to be a little friendly.

“Yes... See what you're buying now, like you like flowers.”

Mentari chuckles, “It just so happens, this is all my mother's care, she who likes flowers. If I am, ordinary course.” replied Mentari, he came to this place his destination just to buy one board he needed. However, his mother actually bought nitip goods that were even more than what Mentari wanted to buy before.

Kelvin blushed, apparently his guess missed.

“If you are your own father, like flowers or deposit also like me?”

“Yes, same as you. That's my sister's deposit.”

Mentari berohria, he nodded his head in understanding. Until the call to Kelvin's name made them look at him for a moment. And, what Mentari saw now was quite shocking, hoping that his mind was wrong this time around.

“That's my sister.”
