Why Breakup?

Why Breakup?
Ep.37: Birthday Cake

Mentari was only able to stay still to hear Angga's words, even a thin smile he showed. It's true, they hurt each other actually. Unconsciously, the pain they feel, they themselves create.

“Yes, I will take care of my own life, will not interfere in your affairs.” Angga frowned, “But, that's later. Later after you get out of here.”

Angga smiled cynically, rolling his eyes panted.

“As far as you think what about me. But, you must also know what I am like.” Mentari stared fixed Angga, the two face each other. “I can't let you face this problem alone, it's impossible. I'll be with you and follow your case until it's done.”

“Keep I should take this as what?” Angga raises next to his eyebrows, “As your pity or what?”

Mentari put her shoulders together, “Terserusah, whatever you want to think of her like. Obviously, I'm not doing this because I feel sorry or sympathize with you. I just want justice, I want justice shown. Uda, that's aja.”

Mentari saw the silence of Angga, he stared at the gift he had prepared last night. His intention to give the gift, he paused. Mentari looked up again at Angga.

“Yaudah, I go home first, yes. The cake do not forget you eat.” said Mentari while standing up, he intends to leave Angga who can only stare at the departure of Mentari.

After Mentari's departure, she stared at what she had brought for her. Birthday cake's. And, the memory of the mass then came back to his mind about how Mentari who never absent prepare a surprise on the day of his birth.

Flashback On~

“Happy birthday, Angga... Happy birthday, Angga... Happy birthday, happy birthday... Happy birthday, my dear.”.

Angga was speechless when he opened the door to his room, finding Mentari who gave him a surprise. Though clearly, this morning Mentari just gave a regular greeting with a cupcake that the woman brought for him. I thought, that's enough. But, it turns out Mentari was never enough with it, the woman created a lot of surprises that Angga never felt before.

“Kok is silent anyway? I'm tired of holding the cake, heavy. Here dong, samperin me his..”.

Angga chuckled, he approached Mentari, releasing his backpack just like that until it fell beside his feet. He looked at Mentari who was smiling widely.

“Happy birthday..

“Kok you're here anyway? Do you know what time it is?”

Angga knew Mentari from a strict parent family, so he could not carelessly bring back and forth Mentari just like that. There is a time limit given. So, it would be strange to know if Mentari is at home while the clock has shown midnight.

The mentor chuckled, he nodded. “Know, coke. But, just calm down. I have permission from my mother, my father too. Obtained, although..” Mentari grimaced softly, while Angga frowned.

“Although?”

“Although they follow.”

“Hah?”

Mentari laughs softly, “Iya, father and mother come because they are worried that I am here at night. It wasn't allowed, but I did. And, as a condition, they are involved. So, rather than not at all. Yaudah, I am yes aja.”

Angga is really made speechless since it is related to Mentari.

“Continue now where are they?”

“So come with me waiting below, same as home too. But, I told you to hide when your car came.”

Angga clucked slowly, he gently rubbed the top of Mentari's head which made the woman grunt quietly. “Can-can you tell dad mom to hide, so bad.”

“Gakpa... Huh, ah. It's a splinter blown out of the candle, melted into the cake. Chalk..”

“Iya, yes.”

Angga blew the candle fast. “Udah right?”

“Make a wish what?” Angga shook his head, while Mentari frowned. “Not?” Angga. “Why?”

“You have enough for me.”

Mentari clucked softly, caressing his smile hearing Angga's words. Indeed, this is not the first time Angga said that sentence, but still Mentari blushed to hear it.

“Sampe red really cheek. Blushed, yes..” seductive Angga, he plays the chubby cheek-squeeze of Mentari.

Mentari immediately sat down on the carpet, followed by Angga who sat cross-legged beside him. The woman placed the cake.

“Behold, I take the knife first deh.”

Mentari held back Angga's hand, making the man sit back with a confused look. “Create what? Cut the cake?” tanya Mentari is angga.

The mentor smiled widely, shook his head quickly while moving his index finger. “No, no, no... I did not take the cake cut with a knife.” Mentari went to the table where he kept the wine glass and brought it to Angga. “Pake it. So, gini deh.” Mentari smiled widely, showing the cake he took using the object, now the cake is in it.

Angga chuckled, completely inexhaustible with his lover.

“This is for you, this is for me.”

“Both doang?”

“Iya.”

“Father same mother?”

“Later, I love her. ”

“Blood,”

“Biarin,”

“Terus, just a cake? No other gifts?”

Direct cynical gaze Mentari layangkan heard the question Angga, while the owner actually chuckled slowly while enjoying his cake.

“Where's the cake? Delicious, no? I made it myself... Capek knows.”

“Masa?”

Mentari grunts slowly, “Ih, what's the time? Seriously, I made it myself. Look at my hand. Kenail—h..”

Mentari forgets that he is everything to Angga. And, Angga is unlikely to allow anything bad to happen to Mentari, including the minor burns that are now in the woman's hands.

“No papa, Ga. Little wounded people doang too. Udah, ah.” Mentari pulled his hand, asking Angga to stop worrying excessively. However, Angga remained stubbornly holding Mentari's hand, closely scrutinizing the small wounds the woman had.

“Other times do not need to make more cake if it makes you hurt like gini, already buy it. ”

Mentari closed his eyes, leaving Angga with what the man wanted. Shut up and listen to all the talk that came out of Angga's mouth just because of the small wound on his finger.

“Udah?” Angga looked up, looking at the annoyed Mentari. “Udah ngomel, nya? If you have, let's enjoy the cake again.” The sun pulled his hand, took his cake and enjoyed it.

“Tar—”

“If you love me, don't worry anymore.”

Angga snorted, showing his sulking look.

“Padalaah I have made hard cake, but even budgeted aja.” The sun pursed its lips, wiping the edge of its eyes as if there were tears there. “Sad.”

Angga let out a rough sigh, he smiled back. Her outstretched hand rubbed gently adorable Mentari cheeks, “Iya, yes I ate really. It's really big.” said Angga, don't forget he pinched slowly the woman's cheek.

Mentari chuckled, smiling widely at Angga.

“But, seriously, Tar. Next time if there is the potential to make you a cooking wound or make something, already, mending not need. I don't like to see women I hurt, I don't like you in pain, I—”

“Angga... Ih, that. Chives eaten.”

Angga was only able to sigh violently, still staring at the birthday cake that Mentari brought without any intention to touch it at all.
