Why Breakup?

Why Breakup?
Ep.47: Waiting for Answers

“Bismilbornrahmanirrahim, may our show be successful and run smoothly.”

“Yuk, get ready, yuk everyone!”

Instantly, the room was pitch-black. All the lighting died and the sound of music began to sound flowing along with the core lights that began to light up along with the exit one by one of the hijab models that walked on the catwalk. Mobile phone cameras slowly began to lift when one by one the models walked, the shots they took to capture the work of the two designers for the hijab clothing model. One by one the designs have been displayed, until the last design is brought by a model who is so beautiful and graceful wearing the clothes. Until finally arrived, where the designers came out to show themselves.

Instantly, the appreciation in the form of a standing ovation was given to Mentari as well as her collaborator, Annya Mother who is a famous Muslim clothing designer who already has a big name. Great honor for Mentari when the design he offered was accepted by Annya's mother. So that this collaboration can be created.

Mentari was unceasingly smiling widely, greeting the warm welcome from everyone for them. He also received a bouquet of flowers given by several people who knew him.

“Congrats!” ayumi's great-granddaughter, she handed a medium-sized bouquet of flowers to Mentari that the woman immediately received.

“Congratulations, yes... Crazy, really cool!” praise Vanya, he also did not forget to give a bouquet of flowers that he had prepared.

The event went well. Unrelenting thanksgiving continues to be thrown when watching how the event goes according to plan, even much better than initially thought.

“Tari, thank you for cooperating with me.”

The sun grimaced, he shook his head slowly. “Ih, Mom. Thank you for that Dance. Thank you so many mothers for giving Tari the opportunity to participate in this show. It is truly an honor for Tari to be able to collaborate with Ms. Annya.” said Mentari, she smiled warmly and clasped the hand of Ms. Annya.

“Sama-sama.But, honest mother loh. Your designs are good, fashionable, but still close the aurat. Next time, we can, yeah collaboration again. ”

“Iya, mom. Amens... Again, thank you mom.”

After everything was done, Mentari went to his room, looked at his reflection in the mirror and smiled widely. “Still, yes, you have survived to this point. I know, a lot of things we've been through and maybe a little heavy, yeah... But, you did it. You made it to this point. Hopefully in the future, it can be even better, yes.” Mentari said on his own reflection.

The knocking of the door made Mentari turn his head, he moved from his seat intending to open the door. And, when the door opens there is Angga's existence in front of Mentari. The woman retreated which made Angga step forward, one step in her room.

“Why are you here?” That question was immediately thrown from the mouth of Mentari.

Angga smiled faintly, in his hand was already a bouquet of flowers that he had brought. “Mau appreciate someone.” The bouquet of flowers he gave to Mentari. “Congratulations, yes on your first show.”

Mentari was silent for a moment, hesitant to accept the bouquet or not. However, his decision finally accepted it. ”Makasih.” Mentari said while staring at the bouquet, incidentally the flowers are her favorite flowers.

“I'm so proud of you. I know, from the beginning this was your goal. Finally, it can deliver as well, yes.”

Mentari nodded, Angga did know everything, including something that Mentari had been dreaming about.

“You know I have a show. Did someone tell you?”

“Nothing anyway, just a coincidence I heard from your employees when we met yesterday.”

Mentari nodded, he was angry.

“H... I still have business, Ga. So, if you..”.

“Someone wants me to talk to you.”

“If your last word problem was yesterday, sorry I—”

Not finished Mentari said, but Angga had suddenly calmed down in front of Mentari while showing him something he brought. A diamond ring.

The mentari was surprised to hear it.

“Dance, will you marry me? ”

And again Mentari was surprised, he could not even speak again until he had to turn his body to avoid the gaze of Angga which this time he could not ignore. A very sincere look full of pleading.

“Tar—”

“Ga, what are you doing this for? If your goal is to propose to me because you can't live without me, better—”

“No, not at all because that's the reason, Tar. I love you and I think you still love me.”

Mentari smiled cynically, overconfidently this Angga. But isn't that the truth? Mentari is too hypocritical just to confess her feelings.

“And it would be much better if our relationship could be more serious, marriage is one way. So, I want to marry you.”

“Yakin, not obsession?”

Angga sighed harshly, “How should I convince you that I am in love with you, not just an obsession. And, if you ask me why I'm applying now, you know for sure what the answer is.”

Trauma is the reason.

Mentari turned around, she looked at Angga who was still struggling as well. “Come, wake.”

“No, before you answer my application.”

“If my answer doesn't match your expectations, what do you want? Still make me?”

Angga shook his head, “No, I will absolutely not force you. Whatever your decision, I will accept it. Now it's up to you, it's up to you to decide what my proposal is. One thing you should know, I'm serious and don't mess with this. So, Dance, will you be my wife?”

It should be easy for Mentari to answer no if indeed her feelings say so. But, in fact, it's not. Meanwhile, his mouth was difficult just to say yes because his heart still received Angga, but the disappointment and fear he still felt.

“Tar?”

The mentor let out a rough sigh, there should be a decision he took as soon as possible.

“You stand first,”

Angga shook his head, “Before you answer, I will not stand.”

“Dan, if you don't stand. I won't answer.”

Finally, Angga stood up as well. He is anxiously waiting for Mentari's answer now.

“If you want to know the answer, meet me at the cafe tomorrow weekend. There you will know what decision I will take.” said Mentari then waltzed away leaving Angga who was still silently nodding.

“I wait for your answer, Tari.” said Angga staring at the departure of Mentari who has now disappeared from his view. “And, I'm sure. Your answer will not disappoint me.”
