Why Breakup?

Why Breakup?
Ep.44: Come, part well.

“I can clearin, Tar. Tuh—”

“No need, Ga. I've seen and heard it all.”

Angga seemed confused by the attitude shown by Mentari who was so calm, from the expression of his face was seen if there was no misunderstanding that Mentari might think about what the woman saw before.

“You haven't eaten, have you, Ga?” mentari asked, he quickly picked up a bowl of porridge that he had prepared beforehand. “Eat first, yes. I made this myself. You have to eat, the abis is taking medicine. Try bentar.”

Mentari placed the back of his hand on Angga's forehead, on the man's neck as well. “Still have a fever like you, still hot gini.”

Angga is completely confused by the attitude of Mentari. “Tar—”

“Udah, ah. I'll take a bribe, yes.”

Angga did not refuse, he accepted bribes for the sake of bribes given by Mentari. There was nothing they were talking about, just silence without staring at each other in the slightest. Honestly, Angga prefers an angry Mentari than the woman who is silent. It was, it hurt a lot.

“Tar,”

“Ga.”

The two said simultaneously making the oddity created just like that.

“You first,”

“No, you were aja.”

Angga lowered his head, a flash of the past that hurt back flashed through his mind. Something really painful that made her fear one thing, marriage was also betrayal.

“She cheated, Tar.”

Mentari frowned hearing Angga's words so suddenly.

“Everyone must have a peak, but do not rule out the possibility of people can fall too, not always at the peak of success.” Angga looked at Mentari now. “And, Papa has also been in a bad position. Papa's business is ruined and we're broke. Papa has nothing, even to eat chicken, it is very difficult. Can't be as free as before, can't be every day.” Angga smiled smirk if he remembered it.

“At the time, family support is important because the family is the main reason to survive. But, not with him. He was betraying when Papa again needed his support.”

Mentari was still silent, did not respond and just listened carefully to Angga's story.

“He left Papa when Papa was down, when we already had nothing, when we were broke.” Angga blinked his eyes which were hot right now. “Maybe if it was any other reason, I wouldn't be this disappointed. But, the reason he left Papa really makes me disappointed and hate him.”

“I never want to believe the words of people, I will not immediately believe that if I have not seen myself with my eyes. But, that day. I saw everything, Tar. I saw.”

Mentari immediately grasped Angga's hand when Angga's voice was shaking.

“He cheated, Tar. He cheated on rich men when Papa was down. He left Papa just for the sake of that rich guy. He left Papa that way, Tar. He betrayed Papa.”

Mentari was quite surprised to hear it because for as long as he knew, Angga's parents divorced while for his own reasons, Mentari only knew now.

Angga returned to clasping Mentari's hand, staring into the woman's eyeball. “I'm afraid, I'm afraid the same thing happened, Tar. I'm afraid that you'll leave me when I don't have anything like that woman left Papa.”

Mentari shook his head, he couldn't have done that.

“Because of him too I got scared of marriage. I'm afraid of the marriage ending. I don't want you to leave me, I don't want to lose you, Tar. I don't want.” Angga shook his head loudly, he really could not if he had to lose Mentari.

Papa's first marriage fiasco made me fear marriage, made me not dare to bind you, Tar. I'm too cowardly to take you seriously, that horrible shadow that I don't have the guts to propose you as my wife. The coward I didn't marry you even after we dated for a long time, only for me to almost lose you. And I don't want the same thing to happen again. I don't want to lose you. I don't want you to leave me. You belong to me, Tari.”

Mentari actually felt tight to hear every word spoken from the mouth of Angga, the explanation of the man made him can not stand just to be unglazed.

“Because now I want to be serious with you, Tar. I'll marry you, I'll give you certainty.”

And, the sentence that Angga just said managed to make Mentari shed tears. The grip of Angga's hand that was so tightly held by Mentari was immediately released by the woman. Mentari looked at Angga with her tears.

Mentari shook his head slowly, while Angga frowned and found another rejection.

“Tar?”

“Ga, not so easy.” said Mentari with a vibrating voice.

“I love you so much and I'm sure you still love me. We still love each other, Tar. And, I will love you certainty, I will marry you as you want all this time.”

Mentari shook her head again, she wiped her tears.

Angga sighed furiously, “Tar, why else now?” angga asked tired, he was a little frustrated. “When I'm ready to marry you. Why is the response you give like this? Why did you reject me?”

“Wedding is not as easy as you think. Marriage is not just love, but faith.”

“I'm sure of you.”

Mentari shakes back, “No, you're not sure about me yet. This decision you make is just a decision that comes up when you again feel afraid of losing and when you are happy when you know I did not leave you over the case yesterday.”

Angga was silent, his heart accepted Mentari's words but his ego was not.

“Ga, I do not want to marry and have a serious relationship with men who even he is not sure of everything.” Mentari stared at Angga. “I don't want to get married just because I have to, just because it requires time and feelings that come suddenly. Because for me, marriage is sacred. I'm getting married, once in a lifetime. I want to marry a man who is sure and steady to get married, to establish a household. A man who is sure the same decision he will take.”

“Tar—”

“While, you yourself are not completely sure, Ga. And, I do not want to fail in my marriage and you also certainly do not want to fail in marriage.”

They were silent at last, both shackled with their respective minds.

“Keep you what now?”

Mentari looked up, looking at Angga. “I want you to Acc my resignation letter.”

“Dan, you will go away from me. So?”

“Iya.”

Angga looked at Mentari in disbelief.

“With us keeping our distance, we will know everything. About our true feelings. About you who is love or obsession just like me? We'll know it all.”

“Tar?”

“After all, if true later we mate. We must have found it again, Ga. So, let's part ways.”
