CHAPTER 10

Three days Kendra had rested in her hometown, considering the sick license given by the doctor for only three days, inevitably Kendra had to return to Jakarta to return to her activities.

That day Kendra took the first flight and planned once she reached Tangerang, she would go straight to the office. As she stepped into the airport, Kendra faintly heard someone calling her, she turned to the source of the voice calling her.

"Ken... Kendras..."

Fay ran over to Kendra. As soon as he arrived in front of Kendra, Fay managed to catch his breath. "Ken.." she held out a paper bag for her lover. "This is for you."

At first glance Kendra saw the paper bag that was given to her. "Fay, last night I told you, you don't follow me to the airport." Kendra showed me the clock on her wrist. "It's 04:00 at dawn, you know! I don't want to interrupt your break."

"But, Ken. I just want to give you this anyway," Fay again held out the paper bag he brought. "You must not have had time to eat breakfast" he said in an anxious tone, but Kendra can catch if the anxiety is not about him who did not have time to eat breakfast, but there is something else that stuck in Fay's heart, about the change in attitude of her yesterday, who often ignored her, and chose to have fun with her friends.

Kendra held Fay in her arms. "I'm sorry yes, it often makes you anxious and sad" he whispered, this time promising with all his heart he will not waste the sincerity that Fay has given him.

Kendra let go of her embrace, she cupped Fay's face with both hands. "Don't be sad anymore, I want us to be happy and enjoy our relationship," he wiped Fay's tears with his fingers, he again felt guilty for making Fay sad, he can't imagine how Fay felt when he arrived yesterday.

Fay nodded with a smile. "Yes, Ken."

Kendra received a paper bag from Fay, then she took the airport chekin and flew to Jakarta.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Not many words came out of Kendra's mouth when she returned to work, Kendra just talk as necessary with her friends, especially with Luna. Kendra looks like she keeps her distance, she does not want to give the slightest chance to Luna so that the events of yesterday do not happen again. He realized that yesterday happened because he gave a lot of gap to Luna.

Bela looked up from the table divider, looking at Kendra next to her. "Ken, you're fighting Luna again?" tanyanya curious, at a glance he glanced towards Luna. "Did he engak nengokin loe kemaren pas loe sick so loe ngambek?"

Kendra rotates her eyeballs, she is very careless whenever Bela invites her to gossip. "Gue has nothing to do with Luna" he said firmly, without looking at Bela, he continued to focus on completing his report.

"Keep loe why did it from earlier? Do you also look at Nyuekin Luna? Was Luna's service unsatisfactory?" the question seemed dissatisfied with the answer given Kendra.

Kendra flipped her body to face Bela. "Stop Bela, watch your mouth!" Kendra made her words even more clear. "Gue more work!" he got out of his seat and grabbed a file at his desk. "Excuse me." Kendra left her desk, headed to Mr. William's room to submit her weekly report which was delayed because three days ago she was sick.

Kendra really keeps her promise, the relationship between her and her friends is only limited to job professionalism. He is no longer participating in party events held by his friends, only once he participated in party events held by his office, he said, it was just a regular dinner with his boss in the company's aniversarry event where he worked.

'Be yourself, stay good and humble with everything but have to have limits, so that you remain who you really are, ' Fay said. That's the phrase Kendra always holds.

"Ken, are you still busy?" asked Luna who suddenly approached her desk, after working hours.

Kendra looked back, "I'm still perfecting the content draft yesterday" she replied. "What's up, Lun?"

Luna pulled the chair from the desk Bela had left behind about 10 minutes ago. "Ken, there's something I want to talk about."

Kendra turned her head completely to face Luna, listening to the thing that Luna wanted to talk to her about.

"You're right, Ken," said Luna, looking down. "Whatever problems we face, it does not necessarily make me betray him, because actually my husband currently needs my support. She felt so ashamed that she could not give any offspring, that she needed time alone to come to terms with the reality." Luna ******-*****the tissue that was in her grasp, she felt guilty to herself, to Kendra and especially to her husband. "Last week, when he came home, we talked a lot. We agreed to adopt a baby girl, and...."

Luna thrust a small parcel in front of Kendra, "And this is a memento for you before I stepped down. Last morning when you met with Mr. William, I also shared and responded with others."

Kendra received the parcel and put it on her desk. "So you want to resign?"

Luna nodded, "Three days ago I submitted my resignation letter, Mr. Randy said I don't need to hand over because you will teach a new employee" he said with a smile

"Me??" kendra asked as if annoyed because he would get additional new tasks, but then he smiled to congratulate the happiness that Luna now felt. "I can't wait to see your baby."

Luna shook her head "It seems you have to be patient, because before adopting a baby, my husband and I wanted a honeymoon first."

Kendra laughs. "Well then, I'll always wait for good news from you." Kendra extended her hand as a congratulatory greeting to Luna. "It's always good to be with your husband."

Luna received Kendra's hand. "Yes, the same prayer for you and Fay. I'm waiting for your wedding invitations, lest you guys not invite me."

"I'll definitely invite you!"

Luna moved out of her seat, leaving the workspace she had occupied for nearly five years. When she got to the doorway, Luna turned her head for a while, then she smiled and left.
