"Fay.." Kendra held her lover in her arms. "Fay you have to believe that I didn't do it" Kendra said between sobs, only Fay is Kendra's only hope, the one who can trust her words.
The two of them hugged very tightly, and drifted away in sobs, cancelling the event that they had been preparing for a long time.
Kendra let go of her embrace, then cupped Fay's face with both hands. "Please love me time, to prove that I'm innocent, that baby Amanda's birthplace isn't my son. I've never touched Amanda!!!" he looked into Fay's eyes deeply. "You believe me, don't you, Fay? You want to wait for me, right, Fay, until I prove it?" he asked hopefully, he brought Fay back into his arms. "I don't want to lose you Fay" he whispered.
For almost 5 years of loving Kendra, Fay had never seen Kendra as sad and scared as this, she stroked Kendra's back gently, lifting her heart, and so on, even though he himself was devastated by this situation.
Slowly Fay took off Kendra's embrace. "Ken..." Fay tries to stay strong and smiles at Kendra, removing Kendra's tears with her fingers.
"Ken, I really want to believe and give you a chance once again" said Fay. "But I can't."
"A-once again? Mean you?" kendra asked confusedly.
Fay breathed out his heavy breath, while looking at Kendra's face. "Actually I had come to Jakarta, accompanied Mom to visit her best friend who was sick. I deliberately didn't tell you because I wanted to surprise you. Early in the morning I came to your office with your favorite warm green bean porridge I made myself at the hotel, but as soon as I got to your office parking lot, I saw you kissing a woman, your own office friend."
Fay put his head on, holding back tears. It felt too painful if he remembered the incident. The man who loved with all his heart, turned out to betray the promise he had said.
Kendra rounded her eyes, she was very surprised to hear that. "Fay, so you see...?"
Fay nodded. "It's not just Ken, I knew the night you came to Jogja, you weren't sick, you were drunk." Fay wiped his tears with his hand. "Bau alcohol in the mouth and clothes are very pronounced. But I deny it all, because I love you Ken, I wish you could change, and go back to being the Kendra I first knew."
Kendra's body trembled, her tears flowing down her face, she did not expect that Fay knew that she had betrayed her. "Fay, I'm so sorry. Love me one more chance, I promise I won't repeat it again" he asked expectantly.
Fay took a paper bag containing documents for the sale and purchase of the apartment, which he put on the terrace table of his house. "It's yours Ken, I'm not entitled to the dwelling you buy from your sweat."Fay returns it to Kendra, she also takes off their engagement ring. "Thank you for the four most beautiful and sick years you've given me" he grabbed Kendra's hand and put the ring in Kendra's hand. "I'm sorry I gave up, I can't wait for you anymore." Fay turned away from Kendra, before he got into his room, he turned his head and said. "May you be happy with him" Fay came in and closed the door.
"Fay please don't stay l'm hiks..." Kendra knocks on the door of Fay's residence, hoping Fay opens the door and changes her mind to give her a chance.
Fay tidied up all her wedding items, ranging from invitations, souvenirs, to her prewedding photos that she had printed. Several times Fay wiped his tears, he did not expect the romance he built for almost 5 years with Kendra would end like this.
Fay picked up the dried rose Kendra gave him four years ago, when Kendra declared her love, while they were both sitting on the bench. They studied at the same university but different majors, Kendra majored in economics and he was able to complete his studies in just three and a half years, so Kendra first worked.
"At least, I've accompanied someone I love to the best of his current point" Fay murmured, he returned to his tears and put the dried flowers in the cardboard along with other Kendra-given items, then covered them with plaster.
Ratri who accidentally peeked at her daughter from behind the door, slowly walked into her daughter's room. "Ikhlas, son. God willing, happiness awaits you in front" he gently stroked Fay's shoulder.
Fay nodded. "God willing, ma'am, but now I still need time to be able to accept all this" he said with a bitter smile.
With the help of two domestic assistants, Fay put all the items in the warehouse behind his house, then he grabbed his bag and said goodbye to his mother to look for a fresh breeze to make his mind calmer.
Ratri was worried that his daughter was going alone amid the turmoil of his heart. "In the adjoining adek yes, son,"
"No, ma'am, I want to be alone first. I just want to get some fresh air around here." Fay grabs her mother's hand and then kisses her. "Fay go first ma'am, Assalamualaikum," he left his home.
Tears trickled back when down the streets that he used to go through with Kendra, starting from when Kendra was still riding a motorbike butut left by his eye, until Kendra was able to buy his own vehicle.
Fay breathed his heavy breath, he pulled over his vehicle at Parangtristis beach where he and Kendra used to celebrate their anniversary. Now Fay down the beach is only alone while remembering all his good memories with Kendra.
