CHAPTER 46

Kendra brought his wife's body to Jakarta to be immediately returned, while his parents were still in Bogor, taking care of the transfer of his little daughter's hospital.

Arriving at the funeral home, it has been seen gathered family and closest relatives Amanda, including all the families who live in Jogja. Among Amanda's entire extended family who came, of course, there was Fay who was sitting in the mourning room with her parents.

Fay moved from his seat, he was about to approach Kendra, but it turns out Luna had already approached Kendra. "Ken, the funeral package at this funeral home has prepared a burial place. Are you sure you don't want to use it?" he reconfirms Amanda's burial place, as Kendra entrusts her funeral to Luna.

Not that he did not respect Amanda's parents, only that he was already hurt by what his mother-in-law said to his wife, he said, moreover, Amanda did not feel comfortable in her parents' house so she chose a funeral home as a place to take care of her wife's body.

"No, I want to bury my wife next to her mother" Kendra said.

"Oh yeah, the tomb is ready too, I just want to make sure you don't change your mind."

Kendra shakes. "Lun, thank you for helping me so much."

Luna pats Kendra's arm. "We're friends and neighbors, Ken. You don't have to ask for my help. I also have an ASI donor for Lily, later her ASI will be sent after Lily arrives in Jakarta, you just contact the guy because he asked for Lily's self-data as well as yourself to be clear of his sister's relationship."

"Later after the funeral, I'll call the guy. Thanks again, Lun, I'm lucky to have a friend as good as you."

Since Kendra first contacted Luna, telling her that her wife had died, Luna immediately took the initiative to offer her help, even to find a hospital and breast milk donor for her daughter without Kendra asking.

Luna leaned her body towards Kendra. "You don't need to thank me, I did this all for my future daughter-in-law. I want to make sure Gavin and Lily aren't half-brothers" she whispered.

"What are you talking about? My daughter was born six hours ago, you could have claimed your son-in-law's future." Kendra shook her head, she stepped away leaving Luna.

During the procession Kendra continued to be beside his wife's body, he refused to tell the chronology of his wife's delivery, because he thought this was not the right time. Kendra wants to stay close to Amanda, and accompany her with many prayers.

After bathing and praying, Amanda's body was taken to a public cemetery. Kendra went down directly to the burrow to deliver her to her final resting place. 'Rest in peace, Moly. I will look after our little daughter with all my heart, Kendra muttered as she covered her corpse with a board.

His tears flowed back, as he climbed back up and the board began to be covered by the ground. Kendra remembered all the memories of her five months of living with Amanda.she remembered how Amanda who always prepared all her needs, listening to all her complaints facing her work in the office, and how she had always been, even he remembered when he found Amanda raining next to his mother's grave, Amanda looked like a small cat who lost his way.

Kendra sprinkled his wife's grave with fresh flowers, one of which is his wife's favorite lily flower which is now her son's name. 'O Allah, accept all my wife's worship, place her in the most beautiful place because she is a very good wife.' He kissed Amanda's headstone.

From behind Fay, watching Kendra look very lost Amanda. "We're going home yuk!" take Ratri, he has booked his return ticket to Jogja.

"Mom, can we wait until Amanda's baby arrives in Jakarta? I want to know his condition" Pinta Fay.

"But Fay, we have to go back to Jogja. In three days you'll be married to Kevin, and there's still a lot to take care of."

"Mom, please I just want to see and know Lily's condition." Fay kept begging his mother to change their flight schedule.

Ratri sighed heavily, he actually wanted to see and know Lily's condition. "All right, we'll be home in the morning. Let's go home first to the hotel, after that we go to the hospital, then I've got the hospital information that will be headed to Lily."

Fay and his family, along with other mourners, left the cemetery. Only Kendra remained in front of his wife's navel. "Mol, I'll go home first. I'm going to the hospital to take care of our daughter, I promise tomorrow I'll come back here to bring lily and tell her about our daughter's condition. You have a quiet rest, trust Lily with me." she kissed his wife's headstone again before she walked away from Amanda's grave.

After the funeral, Kendra decided to return to her apartment, to clean herself and change her clothes. Kendra wants to directly meet the person who will donate ASI to her child, although Luna says enough to contact her by phone, but Kendra felt the need to meet and thank him in person while giving a little sign of gratitude for his willingness to provide a main source of food for his daughter.

As soon as he entered his apartment, he felt an empty space so empty. Kendra stepped into her daughter's room to pick up her daughter's belongings she was taking to the hospital.

Kendra only realized that Amanda had given many signs of her departure. Amanda never prepared her personal needs after giving birth, no clothes or br* breastfeeding, no toiletries, pads or stagen in the bag or closet.

Kendra took the bag to her room, then she cleaned herself up and changed her clothes. He was surprised when he opened his closet, he saw some small writing stuck in his closet. 'Working Shirts', 'Sleeping Shirts', 'Pain Shirts', 'Hoodie', 'Internal' .

"The wean prepared this all for me" Kendra grabbed a t-shirt and trousers, and she put it on. While tidying up the clothes she was wearing, Kendra's eyes were fixed on the pile of documents on Amanda's dresser.

Kendra grabbed the document and opened it, apparently Amanda had prepared supporting documents for the birth certificate of her daughter, health insurance to the deposit bill that Amanda had prepared for her daughter's education costs.

Kendra just took the supporting documents to make the birth certificate, the rest she kept in the drawer, then she came out of her apartment.
