CHAPTER 26

At 23:00 after a long chat with Luna, Kendra said back home. "Don't hesitate to come here if you need to tell a story, I will always be ready to hear your story" said Luna as she drove Kendra to the front door of the apartment.

Kendra nodded. "I'll come again for your handsome baby," he set foot leaving the luna apartment unit. In the elevator Kendra thought that what Luna said was true, she should not be that rough with a pregnant woman, regardless of whether Amanda was guilty, what he did certainly hurt the fetus in Amanda's womb, but Kendra herself did not know where to start, because just seeing Amanda herself was very upset and emotional.

The elevator door opened, Kendra passed by her housekeeper who was holding Amanda's suitcase in her hand. "Where are the aunts going?" he asked in a suspicious tone, because the middle-aged woman looked like she was in a hurry.

"You go to the hospital, Mr. Kendra," he replied with a very agitated look. "So morning, Amanda's mom had spots and cramps, so I took her to the hospital."

Kendra was surprised to hear the answer of her domestic assistant, she asked her assistant to get into the elevator immediately. "Why didn't auntie call me?" asked Kendra worriedly.

Bik Ijah bowed, he did not dare to look at Kendra. Just two days he worked with Kendra and Amanda, he judged that his employer was very fierce first thing this morning he accidentally heard Kendra's quarrel with Amanda. "Sorry Mr. Kendra, Ms. Amanda forbade me, to contact Mr. Ken. I don't want to disturb Mr. Kendra's work."

"Then who's waiting for Amanda in the hospital?" tanyahya.

Bik Ijah shook his head."Nothing," he answered. "But just before I left, I asked the nurse to look after Amanda."

Kendra panicked even more, as soon as the elevator door opened, she sped up to her car. "Let's hurry up!" he grabbed Amanda's suitcase and put it in the trunk of his car.

Kendra drove at such a high speed that it took only twenty minutes for Kendra to arrive at the hospital. "Which room is it?" ask Kendra.

"At Aster, Mr. Ken," he replied as he directed Kendra to Amanda's ward in the care.

As soon as he walked into his wife's hospital room, Kendra was stunned to see Amanda lying on top of the bed with a pale face. Slowly Kendra approached his wife, she lifted the blanket up to Amanda's chest. Kendra sat down next to Amanda, then stroked her stomach gently. "I'm sorry" she whispered, there was a feeling of remorse in Kendra for yelling at Amanda this morning. As she looked at Amanda, Kendra fell asleep next to her.

In the morning Amanda was surprised by Kendra sleeping beside her, she stroked Kendra's hair until Kendra woke up from her sleep.

"Mas Kendra why sleep here?"

Kendra stretched her muscles, sleeping on the chair all night made her body a little sore. "Your aunt told me you were being cared for, why didn't you call me or at least you called your parents."

"I'm fine, I just need a break." Amanda smiled at Kendra. "Thank you, Kendra has accompanied me."

Kendra nodded, she got out of her seat and pulled the table. "You eat first huh, soon the doctor will come to check on you."

The scents of the scallions stinging on the soup in front of him, leaving Amanda's stomach churned. "Hoeek.." Amanda spewed her guts sideways into Kendra's clothes.

"Thank you, man" said Amanda. "I'm fine mas, it's just that if you smell the onion, it's very nauseous."

"What's that called cravings?" asked Kendra innocently.

Amanda nodded. "Mas Ken doesn't have to worry, said this doctor only in the early trimester." Amanda notices Kendra's clothes are affected by her vomit. "I'm sorry, my mother."

"It's okay, I'll clean up all I take a bath" Kendra said as she put the emesis basin, then she washed her hands and separated the chives on Amanda's soup and porridge. "Delayed yes, after that take the medicine. I'm gonna take a shower first."

"Thank you, ma'am."

Kendra nodded, before going into the bathroom, she asked her housekeeper to accompany Amanda to breakfast and take medicine.

In the bathroom he looked at himself in front of the mirror. "Right what Luna said, it's not as bad as I thought. I can be nice to him for Amanda's sake, while slowly asking Amanda to be frank about the events of the night and sort things out nicely." Kendra nodded. "It's only been 7 months, and it won't be hard."

After cleansing her body, Kendra returned to the room, where she saw Amanda being examined by a doctor. "How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Kendra.

Just like last month, the doctor said if Amanda's content is fairly weak and quite vulnerable, so Amanda must have a total bed rest for several days, and the doctor asked Kendra to come take care of her.

"Well doc, thank you," Kendra escorted the doctor out of her hospital room, after which Kendra picked up her laptop and sat down next to Amanda.

"Mas not going to the office?"

Kendra shakes. "I've permission not to enter" he replied while focusing on his laptop screen. "But there's work to be done."

Hearing Kendra not go to work to accompany her, makes Amanda's heart feel happy, but on the other hand Amanda is not happy because she knows, if Kendra really loves her job. "May I know what Kendra's doing?"

Kendra closed her laptop a little, then looked at Amanda. "I work at the Indonesian crypto asset exchange, as a Crypto Content Writer," he explained a little about his jobdesk and the dateline of the work he had to complete.

"Yes I've seen some of that content on the internet, but why didn't I find the content of the 'Bitcoin for Beginners' series'?"

Kendra thought for a moment she had never created content for beginners. "Thank you, for the idea." he reopened his laptop and went back to work, occasionally discussing with Amanda and stroking her stomach.

He did not expect if it had been almost a year Amanda played crypto, so their chat became very developed. 'It's not so bad, ' said Kendra
