CHAPTER 31

The voice I saw Adzan dzuhur stop Kevin's piano playing, he invited the children of Islam to pray together with him. "Wudhunya replace yes children," said Kevin directs children to immediately take ablution water, he also teaches children to pluck their ablution. "Don't forget to read the basmalah and its intentions!!"

After finishing the prayer, Kevin crossed paths with Fay who was standing in front of the mosque "You didn't come in?"

Fay shakes. "Later change with the caretaker's mother, I didn't bring my face" replied Fay.

"Wait a minute, yeah," Kevin ran outside the parlor.

A few minutes later Kevin returned with a face in his hand and gave it to Fay. "It's my mom's, put it on!!"

"Mother??" fay asked confused, as he remembered earlier Kevin said if his mother died three years ago.

"I used to travel a lot with my parents, and my mom always kept her face in the car. I still miss him a lot, so I don't want to change anything he's saved." Kevin asks Fay to wear it.

With a slight hesitation, Fay accepted, "Thank you."

Kevin smiled when Fay was willing to wear it, he went into the mosque and positioned himself in front as a priest. Before starting to pray, Kevin had turned to look at Fay who was increasingly beautiful wearing a mukena owned by his mother. Kevin smiled again, then bowed his head and faced the qibla.

Before the intention to pray, Fay had inhaled a fragrant aroma on the mucena belonging to Kevin's mother. "It was fragrant" murmured Fay, then he made a wish and raised both hands.

The melodious sound of shahdu chanting the recitation of the holy verse of the Qur'an was heard from Kevin's mouth, and the fragrant aroma of Kevin's mother's mukena made Fay more soluble in the speciality in worship.

After the prayer, Fay returned the door to Kevin's mother. "Thank you, Kevin."

Kevin nodded. "Together," he said with a smile, and asked Fay to have lunch with the children of the home. "The kids are waiting for us in the dining room." The two walked to the dining room.

Fay was amazed when he saw Kevin singing while teaching children to wash their hands properly.

🎵"Wet hands with running water, use soap, then clean palms, backs of hands, between fingers, lastly under nails. Wash wash wash your hands, let the bubbles do their dance, scrub scrub scrub-a-dub, now you're in the clean hands club."🎵

Fay approached Kevin, washing his hands and singing with the children.🎵"Wash wash your hands, let the bubbles do their dance, scrub scrub scrub-a-dub, now you're in the clean hands club."🎵

"Funny right?" kevin asked as they dried their hands.

Fay nodded, it had been a long time since he had played with the children. The age gap between him and his sister was not so far away that he never felt what it was like to play with children.

While enjoying lunch, suddenly there was an incident that they did not expect, one of the children accidentally nudged a glass until the glass fell, and the broken glass touched the child's feet.

Fay and Kevin immediately got out of their seats, Kevin ran to pick up the P3K box while Fay immediately gave the child help, but he had already sterilized his hands.

Fay painstakingly brushes the boy's leg with gauze, while Kevin seems to notice Fay from behind Fay's body, asking other children to pay attention to Fay so that if one day the same incident occurs, the child will be, at least they know how to stop the bleeding. "But it must be the same Mother Laksmi yes, do not take action alone, what else if the injury is serious, must contact om or directly taken to the hospital!!" said Kevin.

"Well, o'm" the children answered in unison, then they returned to their seats to continue their lunch.

Kevin not only made the music room but also made a place to play like a time zone that is commonly found in malls, but also, the playground is only open during the weekend from 13.00-15.00 so as not to interfere with children's learning time.

"Not having a whole family certainly makes the children feel sad, that's why I made this for them, in order to treat a little of their sadness," said Kevin, he then invited Fay to play with the children.

Fay chose the game of basketball, he even invited one of the children to compete with him. While Kevin was just watching while accompanying Fania to play the horses. Kevin smiled when he saw Fay laughing, "It's been a long time, I haven't seen you like this, Fay," Kevin muttered.

At 16:00 after the Ashar prayer, Fay and Kevin left the house. Kevin will return while he is off, while Fay cannot promise because he has a lot to learn to complete his education.

The curiosity of the boy named Fania was still struggling in Fay's mind, so when the journey to his residence Fay discussed it. "I'm kind of familiar with Fania's face" he said. "But where are ya?"

"Yes two years ago he had surgery in the hospital, but you didn't participate" Kevin replied.

"Oh yeah, I just remembered. It's only fitting that I've seen it, I've checked the ward, " said Fay. "If you are not mistaken for Accessory navicular syndrome?"

Kevin nodded. "It was one of the toughest operations for me."

"Why mas? Is it very serious?"

"No," Kevin nodded. "Let's know, I like to get carried away by the feeling of operating on the people closest to me. Although sometimes only light opertion."

Fay patted Kevin on the arm. "The mas is a great doctor, you should feel proud to be able to treat the people closest to you with your own hands."

Kevin looked at Fay. "May one day be able to fully heal your heart" Kevin murmured, sometimes he still saw sadness in Fay's eyes even though Fay was laughing.

"What do you mean Kevin?"

Kevin shook his head, he pulled over his vehicle in front of Fay's residence. "Nothing" replied Kevin. "I hope you will be happy, and stay focused on achieving your goals. I will always be there for you."

Fay didn't know what to say but to say thank you, he didn't want to give Kevin any hope. "I'm sorry I'm forbidden from bringing male guests if, father and mother are not at home."

Kevin nodded in understanding, he did not mind at all. Already allowed to walk with Fay alone, he already felt very happy. "Thank you, you're ready to walk with me. Give my regards to my father, mother and Icha, too" said Kevin.

"I should be grateful, because I've taken me to the orphanage. I'm so happy to play with the orphanage." Fay took off his seatbelt. "See you tomorrow at the hospital. Assalamualaikum," he opened the car door and got off Kevin's car.
