Chapter 31: Playing Victim

“Where is Sara?” tyler asked his friends as he spread his gaze across the canteen.

Joe looked at Tyler in doubt. “You don't remember what happened last night?”

“Of course I remember! We partied last night at Sara's house as usual.”

Bren threw the potato at Tyler. “Not that, Stupid!”

“Do we do anything other than party?” ask Tyler again with a sinless face.

Joe took his breath out hard. “Yes God! Why do I have a friend so stupid!” rutuknya.

Adam finally lifted his eyes from the phone. Even though he was busy playing mobile phones, Adam still listened to the chat of his friends. “You made Sara angry and she kicked us out last night.”

“I?” Tyler pointed to himself. Then chuckle. “I can't possibly make Sara angry. Among all of you I am the closest one to Sara.” Tyler waved his hand in front of the face. “Do not joke.”

Anyone knows that Adam is the most rarely joking creature. So, apart from Tyler, no one thought Adam's words were a joke. Adam obviously wasn't joking so he wasn't laughing at all. Bren and Joe's faces are just as flat as Adam's.

Tyler stopped his laughter as he saw that none of his friends were laughing. “So, I really made her angry, huh?”

Joe nodded his head in response to Tyler's question. Adam was busy with his cell phone. He was too lazy to respond to Tyler.

“You made him very, very angry,” Bren said excessively.

“What did I do last night to make him angry?”

“You're being a jerk,” sneer Joe.

“Tell in detail. I don't remember what happened last night. I'll apologize to him. Do you guys know where Sara is now?” Tyler looks panicked. Because he knew that Sara was creepy when she was angry. He has been friends with Sara for a long time and knows her well.

Bren shrugged his shoulders. “I don't think he's in today. I haven't seen him all day—“

“What are you apologizing to him for?  You just told the truth to that grumpy guy last night.” Sharon suddenly appears and takes a seat between Tyler and Joe. Right in front of Adam and Bren.

Bren rolled both his eyes when he saw Sharon's uninvited presence.

“Si Angry?” ask Tyler. “You called Sara grumpy?”

Sharon shook her shoulders. “Who else if not him?” he said indifferently while taking Bren's fries without permission.

“There's something I need to make clear to you, girl. First, you don't know Sara like we know her. So stop being so ignorant. Second one. If you take my kent again without permission, then I'll cut off your hand. Let me affirm. We're not that close until I'm willing to share a meal with you.” Bren stared cynically at Sharon. This girl's been allowed to become more and more.

“Go, Sharon. You're beautiful and I love hanging out with you. But, our business is none of your business,” Tyler said. He doesn't like anyone else to vilify his close friend.

Sharon bent her face. He's pissed. Why is it cornered? His intention was to approach them. “I'm not badmouthing your friends. I just gave you the insight that you guys were hanging out with the wrong friends. Sara is grumpy and a bully. You guys should just hang out with me. If the reason you guys are friends with him is because he is the only keyboardist you have, then I can take his place. I'm pretty good at playing the keyboard. Since childhood I always wanted to play an instrument in front of a lot of people and join a band.”

Adam rarely laughed. However, Sharon's long explanation managed to make Adam laugh loudly and clearly mocking. “You think you can replace Sara? Are you that good?”

Tyler, Joe and Bren laughed. Tyler even held her stomach. “You're so funny, Girl. Join the school drum band. I think it suits you better.”

“Maybe you should join a comedy group. Because you're so ludicrous,” said Bren in his laughter.

Sharon's angry. His jaw was hardened and his face was already red now. Not accepting being ridiculed and humiliated, Sharon got up from her seat. He kicked the table until the attention of all the children in the cafeteria was on him.

A cold scurry of milkshakes fell on Sharon's head. Flowing on his face and droplets from the ends of his hair drenched his clothes. Sharon twisted her body. Staring madly at the person who was brazenly deliberately spilling a milkshake into his body.

“Ups…. I thought bend,” Sara said with a shocked expression made up. His hands covered his mouth. Act like you are surprised.

“You—“ said Sharon was detained. Without saying much, he raised his hand and was about to throw a slap towards Sara.

But someone held his hand. Sharon. And found Bren already standing next to him and clutching tightly at his wrist. Angrily Sharon tried to let go of Bren's check.

“Release!” snarl.

Bren did not respond to Sharon. He held the girl's hand.

Byurrs….

A glass of fizzy drink was poured by Tyler into Sharon's head. “I wasn't accidentally. But you do look like a bend.”

Joe, Bren, and Sara's laughter broke. In response to Tyler.

“Go, Bitc*. Before we treat you worse than this,” whispered Bren before smashing Sharon's hand violently.

Sharon was about to reply to them. He took a soda on the table. However, the corner of his eye caught Elle who seemed to have just entered the canteen. The corner of Sharon's lips lifted He had other plans. Put the soda glass back on the table.

Sharon suddenly fell down and cried. Then he tried to get up in limp. The scene created by Sharon caught Elle's attention. He stared at Sharon who was already very tense.

Sharon immediately approached Elle and grabbed the girl. He cried heartily with Elle staring intently at Bren and his friends.

“What happened?” elle tried to calm down.

“A-I t-no ta-hu what ya-ng t-ter-ja-di. They just sniffed me. I don't know what my mistake was, ” Sharon's story stammered.

Elle didn't take this. This had happened to him long ago when he expressed love for Bren. So, just like that, Elle immediately believed Sharon's story.

Bren and his friends who can still hear what Sharon reveals to Elle, stare in disbelief at Sharon.

Sara walked past Elle, and patted Elle on the shoulder. “I feel sorry for you. Having a two-faced friend like him,” muttered slowly before leaving the canteen.

Joe, Adam and Tyler go after Sara. But Bren still lives. He looked at Elle full of pity. Elle looked at him with anger.

“Stop resonating with her, Elle. He's two-faced,” Bren's advice. However, Bren's sincere advice is misunderstood by Elle. Bren likes to discriminate against others. Elle hates that. Bren is immature and cruel.

With an angry look Elle said, “You should have stopped talking to me, Bren. I don't like hanging out with Bully.” at all

Elle didn't wait for Bren's response. He didn't want to hear a word from Bren. Even if it is a reason or a defense. He said there was no justification in the act of bullying.

Elle immediately led Sharon who was still sobbing to get out of the canteen. Without Elle realizing Sharon was smiling sinisterly. Mission succeeded.
