Am I Different?

Am I Different?
(S2) ~ My Dream

"Where, Deck?" ask dad.

"But, Well ..," I hesitated to answer.

I was afraid that my words would disappoint my grandmother.

"Then what was my school?" my many.

"Dad has been calling from the school, as long as you have been able to attend school you can school online" said the father.

"But, yeah. I'm not rich in school right away," I'm trying to find an excuse.

"Sir, maybe at this time Father and Mother also do not allow you to think too often about school. We are afraid of anything happening with your development, if you are too pushy" said the mother.

I just follow their will, maybe this is all the best for me. I decided to lie down, and closed my eyes. Even though I'm not sleepy, it's just my way of stopping this conversation.

Maybe right now I can only obey because I know my mom and dad don't want to go far and lose me again.

Not feeling as long as I was closed, I was lulled into the beautiful realm of my dreams.

______________

I saw myself growing up, I wore a pink long-sleeved shirt, a pink hijab and jeans. Circular tote bag on my shoulder, pink sneakers too.

I waltzed into the room, where everyone felt strange in my vision. As if entering the world of college.

But somehow in my dream, it was as if we all knew each other, exchanged greetings and joked together.

At that time I thought, I said goodbye to them about to go somewhere. I walk alone while holding a book.

Until the moment I passed a room, I hit a girl who came out of the room. The book he was carrying was scattered, as well as my book. But what I saw in the dream, we were busy helping each other pick up our fallen luggage.

Until there's one thing that keeps me focused on that. I stared at the item closely, then tried to stare into the face of a girl. He's still down.

______________

Before I actually saw it, suddenly a voice called out to me.

"Nova ... Wake up, son." I heard mother's voice calling.

With a sense of laziness, I slowly opened my eyes. I saw my mother standing next to my bed.

"Yes, ma'am" I said in a lazy voice, rubbing my eyes.

"Come, get up" said the mother in a soft voice.

I looked towards the wall clock, there it was showing at 04.45 WIB. I yawned again, feeling that time was passing faster than usual.

"Hurry up, ma'am in the morning" I said.

Mom laughed at my words.

"Alhamdulillah, means good sleep," said the mother.

But when I woke up I didn't see Nene and Dad in this room.

"Grandma, where?" my many.

"Grandmother and Father still pray, because it was alternating mother first," replied the mother.

Mom was busy arranging the luggage we were about to bring home, while I felt holding something in my hand. I raised my hand to my face and saw what I was holding.

Spongebob's pendant necklace right there. I smiled at the necklace.

"We'll meet someday" I said, then clutched the necklace in my chest.

Shortly after, the grandmother, father and a nurse came over.

"Wake up, Key," said the grandmother.

"Yes, Grandma" I replied.

The nurse, started removing the infusion needle from my hand. I feel like a full phone when it's on the charger. I laughed out loud at the thought of my ridiculousness.

"Why, Deck?" ask mother.

I looked at my mother, holding back my laughter.

"That's okay, ma'am," I replied.

Grandma is currently helping mom, while dad doesn't know where to go. My heart feels happy, I can finally get out of this hospital.

I didn't feel like I was smiling and my grandmother realized it.

"It's okay, Grandma. I feel happy, finally able to get out of this hospital," I replied.

The door opened again, and I saw my father pushing the wheelchair towards me.

"Well, Dad?" my many.

Dad nodded with a smile. Dad lifted me up in a wheelchair.

"What time are we home, Dad?" my many.

"Still later, Deck. It's not operational hours yet" replied the father.

I try to keep throwing my smile, even though it feels sad when it is still being stretched later, because my sense of bosen being here has peaked in the mind.

"Mom, come on." Bring dad.

"Where?" I just looked confused.

They did not answer, but they only brought parcels. Then push me outside. The four of us walked down the hall to the end of this room.

"Grandmother Pia?" I looked at my father who was pushing a wheelchair.

Dad just nodded.

"It's school, Dad," I said again.

"Yes, we're going to see Grandma. Mumpung we haven't come home yet" said mother.

We slowly opened the door of the room, saw the old woman chuckling there and beside her were two people.

"Assalamualaik." We said almost simultaneously.

"Waalaikumsalam" they answered.

The two men then stood up and shook hands with us. The old woman who was lying down just looked at us. He did not make a sound though, his lower mouth slightly tilted.

One of the people waiting approached him.

"Mom, this is what I said to Brother last night" said the woman who was waiting for him.

A man waiting for Grandma Pia invited us to sit down.

"Please sit down" said the man.

"Sorry we can only bring this," said my grandmother while giving a parcel that had been brought earlier.

The man accepted while throwing his smile.

"Thank you, why bother," he said.

"No," said the mother.

They immediately sat on the mat that was there. I was still in a wheelchair, because I could not move on my own.

At first, in this room was quiet when none of us were reluctant to speak. Until the voice of the grandmother broke the atmosphere.

"When's the mother in the hospital, Dek?" ask grandma, start the conversation.

"Almost this weekly, but either mother still can't speak to this day" replied the woman with a pensive face.

"Be patient, take good care of your mother while she is still there" said the grandmother.

"Yes, ma'am" the two of them answered simultaneously.

Then they looked at me.

"What pain is it?" ask the man.

"The accident and the moment was in a coma long enough, so it was constrained by his nervous system" replied the father.

"Oh yes, introduce me Diana and this is my husband Adi" said the woman who called her by the name of Diana.

My mom, dad and grandma introduced themselves. While I was just speechless looking at the old woman who was lying on the bed. On his face he wanted to say something.

"What do you want to talk to?" my many.

Suddenly they were all also staring at the grandmother lying down. Then Aunt Diana told me, at first the grandmother already had symptoms of mild stroke. I don't know at that time what made him shocked and fell down from the stairs, until he became like this.
