Am I Different?
Hotel Elevator

We went inside this hotel building, Dad checked in. My mom and I were just waiting for him. It felt like I really wanted to lay my body on a soft mattress, because all day I did not lay my body at all on the mattress.

"Aren't you hungry, Dek?" ask Mother.

"No ma'am, I want to sleep because I'm tired" I replied.

"Yes, Deck" said Mother again, stroking the top of my head.

Dad came to us, immediately invited us to go to the room that had been ordered. We entered the elevator on the ground floor to the seventh floor.

"There's a room on the seventh floor, ma'am. If you want to go to the restaurant, you have to go down to the ground floor first" said Dad.

"It's okay, Dad. The important thing is Keyla can quickly rest," said Mother.

The elevator slowly began to rise from floor to floor. Right now all I want to do is sleep, 'cause it's late at night.

We were on the seventh floor of our destination. We walked to our room. Arriving at the door of my room tried to unlock the door, after which we started to enter.

I saw that there were two beds in this room, the spacious room and the good layout made me feel comfortable.

I set my foot on the bed that was available. I put my body on the bed, finally what I want to achieve.

"Alhamdulillah, can lay also this body," I said.

"Sleeping school, Deck. Let's wake up fresher tomorrow, your body" said Dad.

Mother put her luggage on the floor, after which she sat on her bed.

"Mom, long time here also at home me," I said.

"Oh, Dek. Who keeps your house?" ask Mother.

"Sell me Mom, buy a house here to stay close to me" I replied.

Mom and Dad heard my answer laughing. I who do not understand what they are laughing just keep quiet while closing my eyes.

"Dek-dek, you think buy tempe mendoan which only just buy. Could be you, Dek," said Mother again.

Because I closed my eyes so I was lulled into my dream. I don't listen to Mom's words anymore.

The next day, I heard a voice calling my name.

"Keyla, wake up son," came the voice.

I opened my eyes slowly looking for the source of the sound I heard.

"Eh Mother, what time is it, ma'am?" i asked.

"It's almost five o'clock, hunt wake up Deck continue to pray!" Mother told me.

I also without answering the words of my mother immediately did her orders, I prayed and took a shower. After everything was done, I sat down next to my mother who was watching television.

"Where's the father, ma'am?" my spoken.

After asking I looked towards my watch. The clock has shown at 06.00 WIB.

"Daddy just came out, because it was just on the company's phone," replied Mother.

"It's still morning, ma'am," I said.

"Yes know, from yesterday I told you to leave early," said Mother.

My mother and I were still lying on the bed watching television and suddenly were busy watching, next to the television appeared Esther.

"Forward, Keyla," said Esther to me.

"Mom, Esteh" I said.

"You Esteh? Let's just go downstairs, Dek, " said Mom.

I turned to look at Mother who was looking at me, I showed a maniacal expression towards her.

"Oh yes, forget that you are always in the devil that nyegerin," said Mother while mocking.

I laughed out loud at Mother's words, then looked towards Esther who was still standing where she was before. He pouted, looking at me.

"Esteh here, I'm still curious, last night you could touch that guy?" i asked.

Esther darted to my side quickly.

"You curious? Especially me? I also wonder why it could be like that he-he-he" Esther said with a laugh.

In my mind said, Temenan is one demon, the snarl is not lost anyway.

I stared intently at her eyes, her answer too ridiculous to describe. Then I saw Mom, she looked confused because she saw me like she was talking to herself.

"Mother down first looking for food, you will be splintered next yes," said Mother.

I didn't answer just by pointing my thumb at Mom. I'm in the room still interrogating Esther, because she's already upset my curiosity.

Esther only told me when she saw me feeling threatened, she somehow wanted to be so angry. He just didn't want to see my family hurt, he felt he had to give back to my family for helping him deliver to his fiancee at the time.

I don't know if I should believe what he's saying, because he's also a demon. No matter how good he is, I don't want to get caught up in his deceit.

I realized he was not from my world. I just need to listen and answer when he asks.

After Esther finished telling the story, I remembered that my mother told me to go down to the ground floor.

"Esteh, let's go downstairs and have breakfast, please" I asked.

I got out of my seat and walked out to the elevator. I was alone in the elevator this time, my feelings suddenly turned bad.

The sixth floor to the fifth was smooth, suddenly on the fourth floor the elevator doors opened. All I know is that the elevator doors won't open if no one pushes the button from the outside. While I know the fourth floor is being vacated because it is in repair.

When the door opened, I saw a dark hallway. There was no one there, feeling stuffy somehow felt so on this floor.

I kept trying to push the button towards the bottom floor, but when the door was about to close it suddenly opened again. This door seemed to be blocking him.

"Oh my God, still this morning, let me eat first" I muttered alone.

Suddenly in the hallway, an invisible creature appeared. He showed his existence, I felt scared. I'm just alone here, which I feel I'm stuck into their realms.

I kept trying to chant the holy verses of the Koran as I could, and finally the elevator door closed again.

"Allah, O Allah, do not let me meet them O Allah, they have no morals just know the time" I murmured.

While waiting to get to the bottom floor I was thinking, the feeling of the demons did not appear at noon? What is this, the devil does not know the manners deh not say hello first.

Not long after the elevator door was open, a feeling of relief because it had made it to the ground floor. I walked to the restaurant at the hotel.

I saw my mother sitting in her place.

"Keyla, here son," said Mother as she waved her hand.

I also walked quickly to approach Mom, hunger and thirst had hit me. I can't wait to order food and eat it at the same time.
