Am I Different?

Am I Different?
Knock Electric Pole

The door was opened, there was a woman who might be older than mother. From his face looked confused, looking at our presence. Especially when the look of his eyes was directed to the shoulder of Om Deni who was injured.

"Oh Allah, Pah. This why?" he said in panic.

"Get in first, Mah. Later Papa explained inside," said the taxi driver.

"Come, come in" said the driver's wife.

We went in, and sat down in the living room chair. We heard a fairly crowded arrival, the driver's son came out of his room, while the wife of the driver went to the back.

He was sitting on a wheelchair, his face a little pale, thin.

"Well, Pah. Any guests?" the brother asked, swinging his hand to raise his wheelchair towards us.

He was a polite boy, when he was near us he was seen shaking our hands in turn. After that, the driver's wife returned with a box of p3k equipment that this family had. While treating Om Deni we also chatted.

"I, Vina," he said as he alternated salamans against us.

"This sage, who yesterday Mr story?" sahut Mother.

The taxi driver nodded slowly.

"Yes, Mom. This is the boy I told you about the other day" said the driver.

He put his smile on us. After that, the driver told us about what we were going through. And the driver told me that my family yesterday gave him a little help. With that, the driver's wife happily allowed us to stay the night.

That night, we all stayed at the driver's house. If in the city it is common if every night there are people knocking on the power pole to mark the curfew.

Teng-teng-teng-teng!

there was the sound of an electric pole on tap.

I heard him wake up mom.

"Mom, it's four o'clock" I said.

Mom opened her eyes, she grabbed the phone next to her to look at the clock, then pointed it at me.

"It's still one o'clock, Deck," said Mother.

I was surprised, I heard four beats. Mom asked me to go to bed again.

Teng-teng!

I heard that knock again.

I was just thinking, maybe it's someone who's jailing. For some reason, the more here the sound gets heard.

"Mom, wake. Denger no?" i asked.

I woke my mother up when the knock sounded. She opened her eyes again, and she heard that voice.

"Maybe the kids are here, they're pranksters" Mother said.

I went back to sleep because it was early. But not with me, I deliberately wanted to see those jailers.

Teng-teng-teng!

Sounds umpteenth time.

I walked towards the window, I peeked at him from behind the curtains. I saw one man standing there, right next to the electric pole that was located right across from the driver's house.

this guy lowered his head, then banged his head against the power pole.

"Oh my God" I was shocked to see this.

I ran towards my sleeping mother.

"Mom, somebody committed suicide" I said, trying to tell you what I saw.

I took my mother to the window, in order to tell her. After that, we walked back to the window.

I tried to move the curtains back. My mother and I still saw the man standing there, but this time he was just pecking.

"That guy standing up, Dek?" mother said while looking at me.

I returned mother's gaze, then nodded my mark confirming her question. Our eyes looked back at the man.

"Aaaaaaa," we both cried.

Our screams made the whole house wake up. They approached us.

"Why?" question after question, they send it to us.

"That's it" said Mother, pointing out the window.

I tried to see what was scaring us, but it seemed like when I saw that I didn't see anyone out there.

Dad took us to sit in a chair.

"Who? That guy again?" ask Dad.

Mom shook her head.

"Then, who? There's no one outside" Dad said.

"There's a ghost" I said.

"Ghost?" they say almost simultaneously.

"Yes" I said, nodding my head.

****

After I told you what I heard and saw. However, it turns out that his son, the driver, also experienced something similar with us. The ghost haunts him every day. Knock by knock always he with the early hours of the morning.

The driver also told me, it was not only we who heard but the driver was also one of them. He even ventured to wonder about it to the neighbors around his house.

Neighbors explained, one month before the driver stayed here, there was a murder incident at the power pole.

There used to be pairs of lovers, they stopped right in front of the pole. They had a big fight, I don't know what made them come to that. He said the guy had the heart to hit the girl's head many times towards the power pole.

Neighbors who heard it came out to see. But, when there are residents began to come, the man went to ride the ranggang motorbike. The woman fell to the ground with her head full of blood.

They don't recognize these young people. They tried to find the identification mark on his body was not there. Residents quickly took the woman to the hospital, but in the middle of the road the woman breathed her last.

But it is the responsibility of the people's journey. They continued their journey to the hospital. After arriving, they asked for help to clean the body and make a visa on the body.

They waited for the doctor to come out of the room. The doctor came out.

"Morning, is there one of his family here?"

They were all confused, so one of them tried to claim to be the exit. The doctor took her to the doctor's office. Apparently, the doctor said that the woman was actually pregnant for three months.

With the information of the doctor, so that the surrounding residents concluded that this lover's spouse quarreled because of this baby. Residents around here also only help his burial, until now they do not know what his name is.

All they knew before the woman died, said one name, Tari. Whether it's his name or not, they don't know. But as a good nickname they always call the woman as the ghost of the Dance. They suggested, never see the ghost if you do not want to be nosy of the ghost.

But it turns out that the driver's son had seen it all this time and did not talk about what he saw to his parents.

After that, we went back to sleep. In the morning, my father's phone rang.

But, after seeing the name on the phone screen, the father rushed to notify Om Deni.

"Den," he said as he showed it.

"I seem to recognize this phone number?" said Om Deni.

It turns out I got a phone call from a number of people I didn't know.

"No lift?" ask Dad.

"Before a minute" replied Om Deni.

Om Deni grabbed the phone in his pocket, then looked for contact with the same number. Then, show it to dad. After that, they just looked at each other.

Seriate....
