Am I Different?

Am I Different?
PoV Mas Hendro Diana's

I'm Hendro. I work as a motorcycle taxi driver to meet the needs of my family every day. Even with a small income, this does not make me give up on making my son and wife happy.

I worked my hardest while I could get some good money. Sometimes if there is a project that requires porters, I also work as a building porters.

But a job as a coolie does not exist for every time. So I gave up my life just as a motorcycle taxi driver, because I didn't have any skills. I realized I was just a graduate of SD.

My wife is Salma, she is a good wife and never complains about the situation we are in. He also helped make a living by selling fried food around the village.

I feel grateful for having a companion who never demands beyond my ability. Even with that, I still remain strong with my determination to be able to make her happy.

In addition, we try to make our child happy just a puppet named Diana. Even though Diana never demanded her wishes to us, she still wanted to make her happy. Sometimes we as parents think afraid, if our favorite child is embarrassed by the condition of his parents.

Turns out we were wrong, we both tried to ask him about our situation as his parents. It turns out that in the slightest she never felt ashamed, because Diana understood the economic condition of both her parents.

______________

As usual, I go from morning until late at night. When I saw the day was late at night, I also rode my only motorbike to go home, because this is our only valuable property. That night I drove my bike slowly to get to my house.

Arriving at the yard, I saw my wife and son in front of the house. In my mind I felt astonished, the cold weather like this at night, it was unusual for them to wait for me to arrive in front of the house. They usually wait for me at home. I parked my bike, then approached them.

“Loh, Nana's the same Mother who's outside? Isn't it cold?” I just feel surprised.

“Lumayan lah, Mas. Here, Nana ngeyel wants to wait for Mas in front of the house,” replied Salma.

“Tumben, Son? Study inside yes, outside a little dark lights, fear your eyes will hurt and the air is very cold," invite me to them.

We went inside the house, I left my son and wife sitting on a wooden chair in the living room, and I started cleaning. It didn't take long, finished cleaning my body back up to them.

I see my son is still cool with his book. Never a day did he forget to re-read his textbooks. I approached him, to accompany him and just chat.

“Learn what, Na?” I went to Diana.

“English, Dad. Oh, yes Dad. Tomorrow me and the Princess represent the school for a meticulous intelligent race between sub-districts, loh," Diana told me.

“Iya, Na. The smart one, so a proud child for Dad and Mom. Although we people are not capable, there is no harm in us trying better,” my advice.

I saw it was getting late. I told my son to rest immediately, he's a submissive child with one word he must leave.

That night, we went to sleep. After reaching the room I lay my body on the mattress, although not soft but this is the most comfortable place in my opinion.

That night, before going to bed my wife told me that tomorrow Diana could be a champion, she would get a prize. And the prize that Diana will receive, if she becomes a champion, gets a trophy, a charter and of course three hundred thousand dollars. In addition, my wife also expressed Diana's desire to buy shoes.

When I heard my wife's story about Diana's wishes, I was more and more eager and determined to comply with her wishes, because all this time she had never asked us for anything. Even if we offered her something that her friend had that looked expensive, she never wanted to.

I know, if in his little heart he would have wanted to, but never wanted to tell him. After that, we decided to go to bed.

The next day ....

The cock crowing sign morning is back again, I wake up from sleep to get ready to go mengojek.

I also left first because Diana wanted to be picked up by her teacher.

I drove my bike to the next village, where I was looking for sustenance as a motorcycle taxi driver. Once there, I parked my bike. Not long after I denied, there was one prospective passenger approaching.

“Bang Hendro, take me to the market?” passengers said.

“Iya, Mom. Please, let me drop off,” take me.

The market is not too far from where I go, only ten minutes of time we have arrived.

“This is the money, Bang." I gave ten thousands.

“Sorry, Mom. My first passenger mother and her ojek are only seven thousand, I have no change,” said.

“Nothing to come back is okay, Bang. Return to Bang Hendro alone." Mother replied as she left.

“Alhamdulillah, thank you God. Thank you, Mom,” I'm grateful.

I rode my bike back to base with a happy heart, earning money to spare. I'll use the money to buy Diana's shoes.

Arriving at the base, not until I parked my motorbike from a distance there was a neighbor shouting call me and walked over.

"Mas Hendro!" my neighbor called me.

After he got close to me, I asked.

“What's up, Mr Yani?” my many.

“Mas Hendro, let's go home with me first. Later, until my home explains,” replied Mr. Yani.

“What's the first time, Sir?” manya curious.

“Patient father, yes. There were fathers who approached Bu Salma and he said that Diana was hit by Mas Hen disaster, Diana was hit by a truck,” explained Mr. Yani.

Instantly my world collapsed hearing Mr. Yani's words. I'll ride my bike home soon. I saw there were many citizens in my house, then approached Salma to strengthen her. Not forgetting I'm looking for the fathers who brought news for us.

The father explained the incident. After the story was over, Salma and I rushed to the hospital where Diana's body was taken.

There Salma cried so much, we tried to make the departure of our only child. From the hospital Diana's body was cleared, we took her home to be buried.

It's finished Diana's funeral, it's late afternoon to approach the magrib. Whether I saw it wrong or how, it was like seeing Diana in our house.
