Am I Different?

Am I Different?
(S2) ~ What feeling?

I decided to just shut up, not to make the mood worse. But it made both my parents wonder.

"Why else, Deck?" ask dad.

"It's okay, Dad," I replied.

Mother grabbed my body by her arms, while stroking my head.

"Mom knows you're thinking about Kevin. Help him pray, yes. Pity him," said the mother.

I just looked at him while nodding. I decided to close my eyes for a while, but instead lulled into my dreamland.

***********

I was pensive for a while on the porch of Grandma's house. Looking closely at the usual female figure in the upper window of my grandmother's neighbor's house.

However, it was not a creepy woman but a beautiful, white woman, dressed in a knee-length dress and unraveling hair. He looked around him carefully.

Suddenly seen from behind, there was a man pulling his hair until he fell. The woman is seen holding her hair, while enduring the pain she is feeling. It didn't look like he was dodging or replying.

I only shook my head when I saw the treatment of that person. As I turned my gaze, suddenly a shrill cry came from the top floor.

Suddenly I who heard it was shocked when I heard it. I stood up and decided to walk closer to the house.

First of all, I tried to open the gate. It turned out that the door was without a key that made it easy for me to enter.

I'm sneaking around, trying to see what's going on. As I was about to enter the front door, it was locked this time. I paused my intention to look, but just as I stepped in suddenly the screams came back.

"aaa. Sorry," the woman's voice sounded.

"No mercy to you" replied the man.

This time I was trying to figure out how to get in and help the woman. I walked to the side of the house and luckily for me, the window of the lower room was open. Then I decided to go inside.

It looks quiet and quiet in this house. However, every now and then only the screams and groans of the woman were heard.

"You have heart!" yelled the woman.

"You're more brave with me. Don't you remember how you betrayed me, huh?" snapped the man.

"Agod! I've apologized so many times, but why do you treat me like this?" said the woman.

I got curious, decided to go upstairs. But my footsteps were heard by the man.

"Who, that?" ask the man.

I immediately ran, looking for a hiding place that I thought was easy. Not far from the stairs there is a small closet right next to the table.

I tried to open it, but when it opened it was clear there was a middle-aged woman inside and looked panicked. The hunting breath and the expelling sweat revealed that he was terrified.

I ran somewhere else, trying to find a safer hiding place. When I just entered under the table in the kitchen suddenly heard a scream that was not far from my current location.

"Woman?" i whispered.

"Force, Sir. I'll shut up, but have mercy on me" said the woman hiding earlier.

"Well, get your clothes ready. Then you go and give an excuse to other people if you deal what it is in the village. Don't let anyone find out, if it leaks you'll die!" snapped the man.

I was during the conversation trying to uncover the curtains of the table. But my fate, the man's gaze was fixed with my eyes.

Slowly he approached me and I got out of there. I thought he was chasing me.

*********

"Aaaaaa," I shouted.

"Dec, get up," said my mother.

I slowly opened my eyes and felt cold sweat. My mother held my body to make me feel more calm.

"That's okay, ma'am," I said.

I chose to shut up, I just didn't want to make things worse. Kevin's problem hasn't been resolved until now, I don't want to add another one.

Not long after, we arrived in front of the house. Dad opened the gate and right then I saw the exact same man I dreamed was in front of the house watching us.

"Come, sir," said mother to the man.

"Yes, Al. How's son? Is it healed?" ask the man.

"Thank God, lots of progress, sir. I hope to see you soon, his wife," said the mother.

"I don't expect it, Al. For too long, there has been no development at all from the police," said the man, bowing his head.

"Prophey yes, sir. Yes, yes, sir. Mari," said the mother while bowing her body.

When I looked at him for some reason in my heart hesitated with his sadness, then I tried to brush him off. I don't want to have nightmares, make me prejudiced toward others.

"Come, Deck. Try to walk, yes," said father.

I nodded my head. Dad took my hand and tried to stand up again.

"Try way. You're standing no longer wavering, Dek," said the father.

I slowly move my legs. It feels lighter and easier now.

"Well, want to jump around the taste. I am so happy," I said.

My words made my father and mother laugh out loud.

"Make it laugh," I said with a manyun.

"Come, walk again. Don't jump," I sneered.

I just frowned while turning my face away from my father, while at the same time seeing grandma and Aunt coming out from behind the door. They look crazy looking for something.

"What, Grandma? How to make a wink," I said.

"Where's kevin, Key?" ask grandma.

I stopped and looked down, thinking back to her situation. The mother who saw me decided to answer.

"Kevin is critical, ma'am. He's in the hospital waiting for his papa" said the mother.

"Couldn't you? Come on, come on in first," take grandma.

Dad took me back to the house. I couldn't hold back my tears, this time dripping back. Everything I did was a disaster for the Kevin Family.

Dad took me to sit on the living room couch, where mom grabbed me and understood what I was thinking right now.

"Don't think it's all your fault, Dek. Just pray, hopefully given the best for Kevin," said the mother when calming me.

"What's the matter exactly?" ask Aunt Santi.

"Kevin's stepmother tried to kill him by sticking a knife into his stomach" the mother replied.

"Then, what's her stepmom now?" my grandmother was curious.

"His stepmother died, the spirit of her mother Kevin took revenge by carrying the woman flying then thrown to the ground floor. And more unfortunate, when he fell his head hit the stairs," said the mother.

"Well, it's ruined" said Jeje, who had just come from the direction of his room.

Suddenly we who were unaware of Jeje's arrival were shocked.

"Astagfirullah, Jeje. Just amazing," said Aunt Santi.
