Chapter 11: One Day

It has been 2 years The Skeld 385 exploring space. But they haven't found a single clue to the disappearance of The Skeld 301. That's hard to remember they only used Morse code and the path of the plane's disappearance to search for it.

But even so, at least these past few months they have gotten some marks.

Black felt that lately the signal he used was always strengthening suddenly. But when he was about to start tracking, his signal suddenly disappeared. It upset Black, but from there he knew it was time for him to start getting serious about his duties. His playful time had diminished and he was more frequent in the communication.

White who always got new news about the development also began to get a glimmer of hope. He is confident that they will definitely find the crew of The Skeld 301, although honestly he himself is also not too hopeful that they will be found safe.

"It looks like Captain and Black are getting busy these days," Yellow said to Green while they were at the reactor.

"Yes, I heard there's been a progression from their search so they're busier than usual. That's a natural thing considering the two of them are important points for this mission" Green replied.

Meanwhile, Red who was downloading the data in the communication was ignored by Black. His friend was so focused on the monitor screen that he didn't notice anyone watching him. But Red cursed at him and wouldn't bother him.

It looks like Black changed his sitting position and started typing on the computer, like finding something. But not long after that he hit the table furiously.

"Si*l, gone again," Black then contacted White.

"Hey White, the signal's gone again. But her power is increasing" Black reports.

White answered. Black simply nodded then turned off his communication connection and leaned back in his chair. Red was still there watching him, until he felt something strange about Black.

His friend sat down. But if examined again, Black looks trembling. Red approached her and it turned out that her guess was correct.

Black sat down. His breathing was uncontrollable and his body was shivering violently. His face was pale and his eye bags blackened, indicating that his friend was not taking good care of him.

Red carried him on his back and took him to medbay.

"Sister Brown," call Red.

Brown, who was reading a book at the time, was shocked and started taking out his equipment. Black was laid in bed.

"Red, get some warm water in the kitchen!" Brown's orders without looking.

Red nodded then rushed into the kitchen to fetch a basin of warm water. Orange who was in the kitchen was confused to see Red who was in a hurry.

"What's wrong with you, Red?" Ask Orange.

"Black is sick" Red replied and left.

Orange surprised. He quickly finishes his work and goes to Medbay to see Black's condition.

Red gave the warm water and Brown compressed Black's forehead. Brown tells Red to tell White this and asks her to go to medbay.

"Captain!" Call Red when you get to navigation.

"Yes, what's wrong?" White asked without looking.

"Sister Brown is asking you to go to medbay now" Red replied.

"Why? Tell him I'm busy right now" White said.

"Black is sick now. Brown wants you to go to medbay now! This is serious" Red explained.

White was startled and rushed to Medbay. He wouldn't know his development if Black wasn't in his place. His job is to only monitor the path that this plane goes through because they have never passed here. Another story if The Skeld 301 gives a map of their path. But what can be expected of a lost plane with no trace and only leaving Morse code behind?

Arriving at medbay, Brown was looking at his tablet containing Black's condition at the time.

"Is Black okay, Brown?" White asked and approached his wife.

"He's feverish. It seems to be due to lack of rest and lack of eating" Brown replied.

"When will he recover?"

"If he takes medicine and gets plenty of rest, I guarantee he'll be cured as soon as possible. But for a while he didn't work."

"But what about this mission? We're getting closer to finding them" White said.

Brown turned his attention away from the tablet and looked at White, "But I don't want you to get sick either. Don't make this mission an excuse to get sick. You're human too" Brown replied in a lecturing tone.

"Pst Red," call Orange from behind the door.

Red turned his head and approached him, "Why?"

"Don't be there! You'll be a mosquito" replied Orange.

"Oh well," said Red and went out to the cafeteria.

But Red's move came to a halt because when he turned his head again, Orange was still in his position.

"Why are you still there?" Red asked confusedly.

"Sstt. Watch it for free," replied Orange without looking.

Red snorted, "Bruh, do you like drama?"

"Yes. Sometimes I watch dramas in my spare time" replied Orange.

Red scratched his head that did not itch and then in the end survived there as well. But he sat leaning against the wall against the medbay. He was just listening to the husband and wife debate.

After a long argument, White finally relented. It turns out that even though he seems quiet, Brown is a person who cares and is chatty when it comes to something related to health. Women are not to be blamed.

"All right then. I turned on the course chart first and then went to rest" White said, turning around.

"Come on Red," asked Orange and pulled Red's hand away from it.

"There's no need to run away, I already know you two must have eavesdropped on our debate" White said as she walked out.

The two of them who were not far away, turned around with a whimper.

"Sorry Captain" they both said at the same time and left.

Meanwhile, Black's condition begins to improve. His fever is down and soon he'll be completely cured. All the Crewmates visited him (except Cyan and Blue).

White came to see him. Black is seen chatting with Red who is peeling the skin of an apple.

"How are you doing?" White asked and sat down on a chair near Black's bed.

"It's improving. Maybe tomorrow or in a few days I can work again" Black replied and picked up Red's peeled apple. When he was sick he wanted a lot.

"Oh good then," White said while contemplating.

"You yourself how? Is there anything new in our search?" Black asked while chewing an apple.

"Since you've been sick, Brown told me to take a break. He doesn't want me to end up like you. She's very chatty about my health" White explained.

"Then, just give him to me," suggested Black origin.

White and Red suddenly kept quiet. They both stared at Black sharply.

Black grinned, "Just kidding. I still love my virginity days, not interested in having a partner."

"When are you going to start? Aren't you interested in women?" White asked a little urgently. Is he Black's parents?

"I'm not interested in women" Black replied casually.

They both shut up again. White looked at Black with horror. While Red was crossing her, began to break out in cold sweat. Is Black more than just a friend? Know what it means.

Black, who noticed something strange about the two men, shouted at the two of them, "I like my job better than women. You sib*lan, you must be so slovenly thinking, right?!" Black snapped out.

The two of them heaved a sigh of relief, "I guess what it was," Red said, then picked up one of the books and started reading them.

"After all, if you have a later date, you should definitely pay more attention to your partner than your job" Black said.

"It's a good thing Brown isn't like that" White replied.

"Yes, you're lucky to have a wife like her. It's beautiful, smart, doesn't need too much attention anymore. I'd like to have a wife like her one day" Black said.

"Ehem!" Brown cleared his throat behind White. It turned out that he had been there a while, hearing their story.

Black and White were surprised and the atmosphere became awkward. Black was unaware of Brown near the two of them while talking about him. While Red himself already knew, but he was given a code to be silent.

"Time is up" Brown said.

"Oh okay. I'll go, "White replied and walked out. If Brown says that, it means he wants no one to disturb the patient's rest.

Meanwhile, in the upper engine, Lime was busy fiddling with the machine. He is really focused on his activities. But without realizing it, Rugel who was being pursued by Green accidentally nudged the component that was being damaged.

Right after the fist, an electric spark appeared and enlarged and grabbed the surroundings. Lime who was nearby was shocked and could not run anywhere anymore.

But when the electricity was about to hit him, White appeared and protected Lime, his back was made into a shield. So the electricity hit White's back.

White was electrocuted. His body convulsed and then finally collapsed. Lime and Green panicked. They immediately called Brown.

Brown and the others were shocked. They had just spoken to White. The three of them including Black ran to the scene.

"Captain, wake!"

"White, answer me. Hey!"

They called her alternately until the movement of White's body was seen. His fingers are moving. He tried to sit down but his body shook violently. They helped White sit leaning against the wall.

"White, how are you?" Brown asked worriedly.

"Ugh," White did not reply. His body is still trembling. He tried to calm himself.

"That's not good for parents like me," White replied stammeringly.

They also breathe freely. That means White's fine.

"Green, take him to medbay" Brown ordered.

"No Brown. I'm just gonna take a break to my room. Green can you just take me there?" Pinta White's.

Green said he then took White to his room, followed by Brown and Lime. Red and Black are still in their shoes.

"I feel like something good is going on" Black said suddenly.

"Something good? Is Captain electrocuted a good thing?" Red asked confusedly.

"Not that. But something else, something good is going on right now" Black replied.

Red still doesn't understand. Something good? What is Black talking about? Sometimes his friends seem mysterious. Just like a psychic.

It turns out that even though it has been electrocuted, White can still survive and even his condition has improved. Of course they are confused. White was electrocuted by high-voltage electricity and she survived. Not wanting to swear it, but still it was astonishing.

"That's what I call a miracle" Black said before continuing his work.

Now that they were absolutely certain, they would find the plane any minute.
