Chapter 8: Cyan, the cold Janitor

Cyan is a Janitor in The Skeld 385. His daily tasks are just cleaning. But before cleaning up he must definitely do the task first.

He's not at all familiar with the crew here except for Orange. It is more or less the same as Brown. It's just that Brown still wants to hang out. That's why rarely would want to hang out with him. Apart from being cold, Cyan was also a temperament person. He will get angry easily or even hurt someone if his mood is bad.

That day as usual, Cyan mopped the electrical front floor. The wet floor marker that was on his head was placed on the floor so that no one would pass by.

Red who was then running towards the electrical, accidentally hit the marker and fell. Cyan who realized that turned around and looked at Red sharply. Red gulps. He's never been looked at like that. He tried to stand up even though his legs were trembling slightly.

"Ma-ma sorry," Red said stammeringly. His head lowered, not daring to look at Cyan's face.

Cyan did not blink. He walked over to Red, "Are you looking for this?" Cyan asked while lifting up a toolbox.

Red surprised. As he remembered earlier Cyan held nothing, "Yes."

"Do what you have to do. After that go to the crew's room. I'll give you the punishment for passing that marker" Cyan said and left.

Red was still trembling but he tried to calm himself down and left. She was told by Lime to take the box because she accidentally left it in electrical.

He went to the cafeteria because that's where Lime was waiting for him. After meeting him, he gave me the box.

"Thank you Red" said Lime and went to the kitchen. While Red also went to the place that Cyan told her to.

When he had just arrived, there was a look of Cyan leaning against the door waiting for him.

Red approached her, "So what should I do?"

"Here," Cyan gave the sweeper and the mopper, "I want you to clean this place up to the corners" said Cyan.

Red received the object and then noticed the room. The room was very large and spacious, but he should not complain. Knowing what Cyan is like and the nature knows him, Red accepts.

He started by cleaning up the dust on the wall. Cyan put up a marker and watched Red.

"It's still dirty, clean it up again!" His orders surprised Red. He was not aware that he was being watched.

Red continued to repeat cleaning the place until his body began to fatigue. But Cyan did not give him any rest at all. Until finally Red finished cleaning the place until it was completely clean now. Red sat leaning against the wall while panting.

"You did well" said Cyan.

Red sat up straight looking at Cyan who was standing up. Some time they looked at each other until finally Cyan helped Red stand up.

"Rest to the cafeteria!" Cyan's orders then go. Red also went to the cafeteria.

Arriving at the cafeteria, Red took a glass of water and sat down. He sipped the water until it ran out and breathed a sigh of relief. At that time the cafeteria was quiet, there was only Orange who was busy in the kitchen. The rest may be busy with their own business.

"Ray!"

Red looks. Black called him. Red had not seen her from this morning, so she was quite shocked when she saw her.

"Why?"

"Where have you been? I'm tired of running around looking for you" Black asked and sat down next to Red.

"I should have asked. Where are you? I didn't see you this morning" Red asked.

"Hehehe yes this morning I was in the communication," Black replied with a chuckle.

"communications? What are you doing there?"

"Our mission is to find The Skeld 301. Well White told me to stand guard at the communication just in case there was a signal coming into our plane. The Skeld 301 sends the code before it disappears so we can use it to find them" Black explained.

"Oh so yeah. But it seems exhausting. Just in case," said Red.

"Oh obviously it's exhausting. But I'm dealing with it by playing games."

"You play a working time game? Wouldn't the Captain be angry?"

"Obviously he's angry as long as it's not discovered it's okay" Black is completely misleading.

"Yes, but can I play?"

"May you see now White is resting," Black replied and they both went to the communication.

Meanwhile, Cyan arrived after Red and Black left the cafeteria. He sees Red's back disappearing behind the door. But he just kept quiet and went to the kitchen. Cyan met Orange who was busy doing the dishes.

"Did you tell that guy to help you?" Ask Orange. He's heard everything from Red.

"I didn't tell him. This is the punishment" replied Cyan cuek.

"Yes, all right" said Orange, giving up and leaving because his job was done.

Back to Red and Black. They take turns playing games on the computer.

"Oh yeah you didn't answer me earlier. Where were you when I was looking for you?" Black asked while focusing on the monitor screen.

Red sighed and told me everything. Black was surprised.

"But he didn't hit you, did he?" Black asked worriedly.

"He didn't hit me, but still he was terrible. Why why anyway? You look worried," Red was confused.

"Cyan is the dreaded Janitor. No one dared to argue against her, not even me. He's so obsessed with cleanliness, so if anyone gets dirty near him I guarantee that person doesn't survive" Black explained, whispering slightly.

Red thought, "Like her all the crewmates here even got to her Janitor too, not her playfully chosen one."

"Oh obviously," Black replied proudly then they continued their game.

The next day, there was no reason why Cyan asked Red to clean up again elsewhere. Red was confused but eventually complied as well. Fortunately, when Blue did not see it, if it happened, Red would definitely be his ignorant material.

At first everything went well. Red is getting better at cleaning. He no longer needed to be monitored by Cyan because he already knew what he was going to do. But all that changed after Blue found out about it. He and his new friend Purple devise a plan to prank Red.

The moment that the two of them were waiting for arrived. Red mopped up in the hallway. He was almost done actually until they both came.

"Well, you're so diligent, Red," praises the real Blue for subterfuge. Red who was suspicious just kept quiet and started to keep watch.

"Yes, why?" Asked Red coldly.

"Nothing, but it looks like you have to work even harder Red," Blue said with a sly smile.

Red's feeling uncomfortable. Sure enough, Purple appeared behind Red and threw the trash out of a large plastic bag.

"God!" Red bellowed furiously as he flicked his besiegers towards Purple.

But Purple nimbly dodged and ran towards Blue and the two of them left the place laughing. Red became lethargic. But that sense instantly changed when he felt that someone was standing behind him. The feather stands.

Suddenly a hard, blunt object hit Red's back. Red was startled then turned around and managed to resist the next attack. It turned out that it was Cyan who attacked him using a sweeper. The angry look from his eyes made Red tremble. Cyan attacks again and continues to attack, but Red manages to fend him off. But it turns out that Cyan is holding two sweepers, so when Red manages to hold the one. The other one moved to hit Red.

Red sat on the floor grimacing. Cyan pointed the tip of his sweeper at Red's face.

"Why did you attack me?" Red asked even though he already knew what was wrong.

"Why? You ask why? I wanted to ask you back, why are you throwing garbage here?" Cyan asked furiously.

"I didn't do it" defended Red.

"What's this?" White and all the crewmates including Blue and Purple appeared. They both look happy with Red's suffering.

Cyan explained his situation back then. White looked in disbelief and looked at Red.

"Did you really do it Red?" Ask White.

"No Captain, it's not me. Purple and Blue were doing it," Red replied as he pointed at the two people.

"There's no way the two of them could have done it. They were with me earlier," continued Orange. He didn't lie because after Blue and Purple did, they were both immediately together with Orange so they had their reasons not to be accused.

"But" Red could not say anything. It seemed that the two people had indeed planned it so far. Red has really lost.

"It's like this. Cyan you don't have to use violence that way, and you Red clean up the trash immediately. Hows it? better, right?" Advice White.

"Alright," Cyan lowered his sweeper and left after giving Red a sharp look.

Red sighed in relief then looked at White with a look of gratitude. White looked back at him. He actually believes in Red. But just like Red, he also had no evidence to blame Blue and Purple.

After finishing cleaning up all that trash, Red went to medbay to treat the former blow from Cyan. Black and Brown accompanied him on Medbay.

"I really don't understand why they both do it" Red said with a slight annoyance.

"Yes I finally understand why you don't like Blue so much" Black continued.

Brown was silent. He was busy packing his equipment while still listening to the two of them. Suddenly the vent opened making Red and Black shocked. Then came the figure of Lime from inside the vent.

"Gosh you surprised me" Black said, stroking his chest.

"What are you doing there?" Ask Red. He had indeed seen people appear from inside the vent, but he had no idea what they were doing.

"I fixed this vent hole. I can't stand it in there anyway, it's so crowded" Lime replied. He was sitting on the edge and his legs were still in the vent hole.

After that incident, even though Red made a mistake. But it seems that Cyan is still trying to believe in Red. He's actually tired, which is why he's looking for people who can help him and Red who he thinks is the best fit.

While Blue and Purple still continue to launch their mischievous actions to Red. But Red, who has learned from his first mistake, will not let it happen again. Blue and Purple were really upset that their actions had been thwarted.

Until finally everything is out of bounds. Red who managed to fight their actions put Purple out of control. Purple appeared behind Red but this time she was carrying an iron rod that she had no idea where. With the iron rod, Purple hit Red's head until his head bled and he collapsed on the floor. Blue was surprised because everything was beyond her expectations.

"What are you doing, Purple?" Blue asked frantically and approached Red to confirm his condition.

Red looked limp and endured the pain in his head. He grimaced and finally fainted. Blue was worried and panicked.

"I don't like it if my plan fails," Sighed Purple as she stared at Blue. But if noticed again, his gaze looks empty.

"What?" Blue's distraught.

"I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like it," Purple kept saying it made Blue realize that something wasn't right with Purple.

Purple who was originally just standing still started to move. His empty gaze turned sharp. He looks like he wants to pounce on Blue. Purple moved to attack Blue. Blue was surprised and unprepared. He was ready for the attack.

Suddenly someone appeared behind Purple then held her back. They both looked and fell. It turned out that Cyan was the one holding him back.he stared intently at the two of them while all the crew stood behind him.

"Stop you," said Cyan coldly.

"Black take Red to medbay" White ordered. Black then carried Red and took him away.

Everyone stood tense. Looking at Cyan and Purple who were already looking at each other sharply.

"Let go!" Purple's hiss is terrible.

Cyan did not hear it. He forced the iron rod and threw it.

"How dare you dirty a spot that has been cleaned," Cyan's expression turned sinister. All the Crewmates stood tense. Referee with what will happen next.

A few moments later...

Red slowly opened his eyes.His originally blurred vision gradually became clear. He realized he was on Medbay.

"Are you okay, Red?" Black asked who was standing next to him. He's here to accompany Red after Brown finishes his treatment.

Red tried to sit down but suddenly his head got dizzy making him lie back down. Black was surprised and helped her lie down.

"Don't force yourself" said someone behind Black.

The two of them turned their heads and saw Cyan leaning against the door while folding his hands in front of his chest.

"Wow Cyan you surprised me. What are you doing here?" Black didn't like it.

"Of course visit him," Cyan replied casually.

The dizziness in Red's head was gone. He finally remembered what happened. She remembers Purple hitting her head and Blue looking panicked then after that she fainted. He doesn't know what happens next.

"Um what happened to Blue and Purple now?" Ask Red slowly.

"Oh you remember the end too" said Black.

"They were punished" Cyan answered and walked over to Red's bed. Black kept staring at him dislikefully.

"What's the penalty severe?" Ask Red again.

"Do you care about them?" Black confused.

"A little bit, but why would Purple do that?" Red asked without thinking.

"Purple has a mental problem" replied Cyan, who was sitting next to Red's bed, next to Black. Black is increasingly disliked for being ignored.

"mental issue?" Red's confused.

"Since childhood he was very spoiled and all his requests were always obeyed. Maybe because of this, he is also very cynical with others. He is also good at making plans, so all his plans always work and never fail. But you managed to foil his plan so many times and it drove him crazy" Cyan explained.

Black continued, "But ever since he became friends with Yellow, his nature has gotten better. It was just that he still remained cynical to others. He changes again after becoming acquainted and befriending Blue. Totally misleading."

"Whatever it is he deserves punishment" continued Orange who appeared at the door. Surprising Red and Black.

"You're surprising me, what are you doing here?" Ask Black.

"For what? Look Red. I brought the cake for you Red," Orange quickly ignored Black upset the man.

"Thank you" said Red, and ate the cake.

Cyan silently watched and he stood up to leave.

"Where are you going?" Ask Orange.

"I'm done. Oh yes Red," call Cyan. Red raised his head and looked at Cyan with cheeks that were enlarged due to the cake. A little while they looked at him and then finally Cyan sighed, "Chealing quickly. I want you to help me clean up again," she said, then left.

"Wow he cares about you Red," Orange told Red, who at the time did not believe.

"Ck I hate him" Black said resentfully.

Meanwhile, Cyan who had already moved away from medbay stopped in a quiet place. He sat on the floor leaning against the wall and rubbed his head.

"It feels like he's someone but who," Cyan's inner being while trying to remember.
