Chapter 30: Return to Mira HQ

Orange looked at the cafeteria which was already deserted. He sighed then looked at himself who already had no legs and a transparent body.

"Well, you're here apparently," Orange turned and saw Green with Purple approaching.

"Green? Purple?" Orange was in place.

"We followed your body that was thrown out there. We saw him freeze and thought that you were going to show up there, but you were already here" Purple said.

Orange did not say anything, his face increasingly showing sadness, "Green... Purple... I'm sorry," said Orange stammeringly.

Green was surprised and immediately approached Orange, "You don't have to apologize, I know you don't want to do that to us."

Purple nodded, "Yes, what are you crying for anyway? We're ghosts so there's no more tears."

Orange shook and rubbed his face, "I wonder why we can't shed any more tears?" Orange grumbled that made Green and Purple laugh amusedly.

"Here you turn out," the three of them turned their heads and saw the entire Crewmate of The Skeld 301 approaching them.

"You're The Skeld 301 crew, right? So you've been here all along?" Green did not believe it.

"Yes, we've all been here since you guys came. We've seen everything that's happened" William replied.

Purple looked at William, "It turns out that what Black said was true, Captain William is dead."

"From the beginning I expected that too" Green replied.

Orange approached the men, "Did you guys make that message?" They nodded.

"But unfortunately something broke the message and made us like this" Purple said.

"It was actually the Impostor who did that" Orange replied.

"Impostors? You're also Impostor, Orange. Then you're the one who did it?" Guess Green.

"The three of us did it. Actually I don't want to, but this parasite keeps taking over my body so that everything doesn't go my way" Orange replied.

"Although you're often controlled by the Impostor, but you're able to survive the parasite for a long time. Since you're free now, can you tell me who else the Impostor is?" Pinta Green's.

Orange tells the two names that make Green and Purple surprised.

"So they're both? I guess one of them is Yellow," Green said in disbelief.

"But you're wrong" Fred commented.

"What's wrong?" Purple's confused.

The crew of The Skeld 301 stepped aside to allow someone the three of them knew to approach. Orange, Green and Purple were shocked and could not believe what he saw.

"You're dead?" Purple did not believe it.

"We're all dead" retorted Louis.

"Yes, you're right. This friend of yours died earlier than you and we failed to protect him. He has the same fate as me. Impostor mimicked his form to kill you, ", William explained.

"Oh my God, why are we so late to realize it?" Green panicked.

Now they can't do anything and can only hope that the others soon realize it and can put an end to all this.

A few days later...

The Skeld 385 is near Earth. They all got into the crew plane, not forgetting they also brought the two bodies of Green and Purple. After bringing everything necessary, they descended to earth and flew to Mira HQ.

After their plane penetrated the atmosphere and Mira HQ was now visible in front of them, Red felt a sense of deja vu at that moment.

Their plane slowly descended to where the runway was and some people welcomed their return.

Some people who have been told about what happened come and take away the body bag containing the bodies of Green and Purple. While White immediately spoke to Mr. Leon who at that time also welcomed their return.

"It's no wonder this is going to happen" Black said.

"Why?" Red asked confusedly.

They all nodded then followed the people appointed by Black, except for Black, Cyan, and Brown who did not follow those people because they did live in Mira HQ.

Red followed the person while carrying his own items, he was unwilling to trouble the person. They finally arrived in front of one of the rooms, the man gave Red the key to the room and left.

Red opened the door and went inside. He got a fairly spacious room with complete facilities. Red walked to the window facing a meadow with a large tree there. The light from the setting sun made the atmosphere of the moment very calm.

Suddenly Red's phone rang and a call came in from Black. Red answered the call.

"Why?"

"You got your room?" Ask Black.

"Yes, I've got my room" replied Red.

"Good, I want to tell you what happened just now" Black said. Red immediately sat down on the chair and listened to Black's conversation intently.

"So like this, long before we got to earth, White had asked me to call Mira HQ and tell her everything. At the moment White and Brown are being asked for information, while we will be examined one-on-one" Black explained.

"Does this usually happen?"

"For Crewmates who have just returned from the mission, the examination is mandatory. But for which this inquiry never happened. I don't know, never or rarely I don't know because basically I'm a nolep. I wouldn't know if it didn't pass through my computer first" Black replied at length.

"How are they gonna check on us?"

"Do you know the submit scan tool on medbay?" Red nodded, "That tool can see the contents of our body. Because Impostor and Crewmate's body structure is different, so this is the right tool to detect it."

"Then, why didn't we just use that device back then?"

"Brown also had the idea for me and White. But when we were about to start the idea, it broke down and could not be used. Red nodded in understanding, "So since now at Mira HQ has a lot of engineers, then this is a good opportunity to do that check?"

"Rubber, so now you're gonna stay here for a few days. All of our activities will also be monitored so that nothing bad happens."

"Thank you for the explanation, Black. But by the way, what's that bracelet on the table for?" Red asked as he turned his phone screen onto the table.

"The person who drove you didn't tell you what it was for?" Red shook his head, "The bracelet is to track someone's position. We are currently on the 111th floor of Mira HQ. Although on this floor the place is not too big, but the vent here is connected to each other. So if there's now a murder by Impostor, we don't know where he's going not even going to be useful."

"You mean this is what we use to monitor our activity?"

"Rubber, you better take a break. Tomorrow our activities will begin" Black said.

"See you later" Black replies and closes his call.

Meanwhile in Cyan's room, Cyan who had returned to his room decided to lie down first before starting to clean up.

Slowly he closed his eyes and intended to take a short nap. But just closing his eyes, Red's face suddenly appeared in his head. He was surprised instead of playing and immediately sat by his bed.

"Why am I suddenly thinking about it?" Cyan muttered confusedly while scratching his head which was not itchy.

His eyes were fixed on his desk drawer. Cyan remembered something and immediately walked up to the table and opened the drawer. He took a note of his family and began to open it sheet by sheet.

Until he arrived at one of the sheets that contained a photo of someone dressed as a scientist. Cyan took the photo and began to notice it.
