Among Us: Origin Story
Chapter 51: The New Mission

The airship returned to motion after being stuck in the hill for a week. They finally arrived at a place affected by the disaster.

The victims were immediately taken onto a plane that would take them to the capital. Within a day, all the victims had been taken away from the place which would then be managed by the government.

The Crewmates and volunteers were busy treating the seriously injured victims. The volunteers were greatly helped by Brown's ability to be reliable in the medical world.

"Why is your face beaming, Black?" Red asked when he met Black in the toilet.

"It's because I finally don't see Righty's face anymore" Black replied happily.

"Oh ok," said Red mangosteen. He just remembered that Black hates Righty.

After traveling for days, they arrived at the capital. The Crewmates left immediately after completing their task. They return to Mira HQ after Black gets a call from there.

The crew immediately rested. While White again spoke four eyes with Mr. Leon.

"You did a good job this time. Congratulations," praise Mr. Leon.

"Thank you for the compliment. But before that, I want to protest. Why did you let Righty come with us? Just so you know, it's very dangerous for the safety of my crew" White protested.

Before returning to Mira HQ. White has reported the incident to Leon. But White refused to speak through the tool and preferred to speak directly. For the report, he sent it in a short message.

"We feel guilty for the incident. Honestly, we didn't know that Righty was Cyborg. He was the one who gave us the Airship, so we didn't think that far" Leon replied.

"Wait a minute, give? Didn't you say that your Airship found?" Ask White.

"It's true we found. More precisely, we found the Airship along with Righty inside. He said he would give us the plane for free, as long as we make the plane as a carrier for victims of natural disasters" said Mr Leon.

"But why a transport plane?" White began to feel confused and curious.

"On that, I don't know either. But there must be some hidden intent behind it all" replied Mr. Leon while rubbing his chin.

"Talking about hidden intentions, it seems like you have hidden intentions as well right now," White commented suspiciously.

"Rubber, I almost forgot" replied Leon. He let out a long sigh then looked at White seriously, "When you guys left, I did a meeting with the managers of Mira HQ. And the result of our meeting is to give you a new mission."

"What's that?" Ask White.

"You will be sent to Polus. Some suggest what if you defeat the Impostor at his residence outright. I think it's a good idea to be able to minimize innocent victims" Leon said.

"Then what about me and my crew?" Inner White then sighed, "Alright then. It seems like a good idea."

Leon was a little confused. He remembered that White had been terrified when she thought she would be sent to Polus. But now he saw no look of fear on the old man's face.

"You look very calm" commented Mr. Leon.

"so. I'm ready to accept the bad possibilities that will happen to me. But I'm quite sad that you didn't notice my crew who were also innocent victims" White replied.

Mr. Leon was silent. He also remembered that the Crewmates had nothing to do with the matter either. More precisely, the problems that arise due to his mistakes in the past.

"If I hadn't been reckless then, none of this would have happened. There will be no casualties and he may also be alive to this day" Mr. Leon fell silent.

White noticed Leon's silent man, "I'm sorry if you're offended."

"It's okay. I also realized it was my fault that got your crew involved. But believe me, no one can defeat the Impostor if not you" Leon said.

White stood up, "I understand. But I had one request, "White looked at Leon sir, "If anything happens to me, I hope you give my wife a decent place to live" he asked.

They came out of the room and separated. White gathers his crew and tells them what Leon said.

"Just as I thought" Black commented.

"Captain, don't you think this is too dangerous?" Ask Yellow.

"I also thought like that, Yellow. But what's possible, we've been given a mission to get the Impostor to where it came from" White replied.

"Have you thought this through, White?" Ask Brown.

"I've been thinking about this very well. It's very risky, but what can I do. We are destined for this mission" White replied, looking deeply into Brown's eyes.

White turned his head and looked at Red and Blue, "I'm also sorry to the two of you for getting you involved so far" White said.

"It's okay, Captain. It's also our consequence of having accepted the mission given, "Red replied uncomfortable with White's apology.

"Yes, this was never thought of before either. So this is not entirely Captain's fault" Blue said.

"Well then" said White, pensively.

The Crewmate also pensive so that the cafeteria became quiet because it was not a break. They dialed back every memory they got from the beginning they set out to now.

Red began to feel his chest tight as he recalled the deaths of Purple, Green and Orange. Especially White who for the first time lost some of her crew.

"Hey White," call Black to wake them all up from their respective daydreams.

"When are we going?" Black asked seriously.

"Tomorrow. The faster the better. We also have to look for Professor Andromeda's whereabouts" White replied.

"Who is Professor Andromeda?" Ask Red.

"He was the Professor who joined the Crewmate of The Skeld 301 on their departure to Polus. But he didn't come with them when he came back to Earth and preferred to stay in Polus with his colleague Professor Zero" White replied.

"So far he can't be contacted. I couldn't reach him at the same time as getting the SOS code from The Skeld 301" Black said.

"Knowing that Polus was the home of Impostor, made me pessimistic about the Professor's current condition" Lime said.

"I think so too. But don't give up, at least we have to get a valid explanation" White replied.

They finished the meeting and returned to their rooms. They must prepare for tomorrow's departure, knowing that their lives are at stake.
