Chapter 6: Departure

"Why didn't you tell me that you were the one who put me up for this mission?" Red asked after she parted ways with Blue and his guard.

"I'm sorry but you didn't ask" replied Junaidi chuckling.

"Yes already, it's okay. But didn't you say Mr Leon moved me here?"

"Leon is not the one who takes care of Mira HQ."

"Eh? Then who?"

"In this place there are 2 more people besides Leon who take care of several fields. If compared, it was like a school with the principal and the subject teachers. The teachers will be responsible in their respective fields" explained Mr. Junaidi.

"If Leon is in charge of the astronauts, then what are the other two responsible for?" Ask Red.

"Scientists and security" replied Mr. Junaidi, "Some of the people who are here have no place to live. So with these three managers, their lives will be assured."

Red fell silent and watched the whole place closely, "That person must be very rich" he said.

"Of course."

"But why did that guy make Mira HQ for research? This place is very spacious, it may be more suitable for hotels or others."

"Because he was very concerned about the current condition of the earth, so the scientists who were here were recruited to improve the earth. While the astronaut, he is also one of the people who support the idea of a new planet," explained Mr. Junaidi while trying to kill mosquitoes that fly near his ear.

They did not speak again after that until Red remembered something.

"Oh yes Black asked me to come to his office now but I don't know where his office is, can you drop me off?" Pinta Red's.

"Didn't he tell you the location?"

"Yes, but I don't know where the places are. Where is the locker room and medbay? There I'll get lost here" Red said.

Mr. Junaidi laughed amusedly, "Hahaha, didn't you pass that room with Nevi just now?"

"Nevi didn't speak at all, so I don't know."

"All right, I'll take you."

They walked back through the glass passageway and stopped at the end.

"I'll tell you. To my right is the locker room. Then the one in front of the room near the sharp turn was the medbay," Junaidi stopped and looked at Red, "Now do you know where Black's office is?"

Red was surprised and looked at the room where the wall was supported by Mr. Junaidi, "That's his office."

They stood in front of the room looking at Black who was engrossed in playing games on his computer.

"Play games while working again, Black?" Ask Junaidi.

Black was shocked and then paused the game, "How long have you been there?"

"Not for long either. By the way, I brought your guest," replied Mr. Junaidi as he pointed at Red.

"Oh thank you."

"Yes, I'll leave him to you. I'll be on duty again, see you Red," said Mr. Junaidi and left.

Red came into the room. Meanwhile, Black shuts down the game and opens a doorlog on his computer. A doorlog is a sensor that is mounted on the floor. The sensor will turn on if anyone passes through it and functions the same as a cctv.

"Sit down first" Black said, giving Red a chair.

Red sat down and began to notice the room. The room was lined with two separate green carpets, three tables and a large cupboard.

"Are you the only communications and information officer here, Black?" Ask Red.

"No, we're there a lot maybe about hundreds," Black replied.

"Then why do you have your own office. You're not the boss, are you?"

"Indeed, it's just that I prefer to be alone."

"Oh yes Black, I want to say something," Black turned his head, "I'm sorry about that one at the cafe."

"Which one?"

"What I'm forcing you to tell a story. You don't want to but I'm forcing you."

"Oh that's okay. I'm not angry at all," Black said casually making Red relieved.

"So what do you think of that mission?"

"Interesting."

"That's great, I thought you'd be scared and then resist."

"Even if I'm afraid I won't resist" Red replied confidently.

"By the way you won't be alone" Black said, switching the conversation.

"Yes I'm not alone. There was one person who was from the same place as me so I wouldn't be alone" Red replied in a mocking tone. Black chuckles.

"Not that but this," Black said as he gave a photo of a white-haired man. (Not gray guys).

"Who is this?"

"That's White, my friend. He's a Captain and he'll be your Captain later. I told her about you so you don't have to feel alien to her."

"You don't have to do this" Red said uncomfortably.

"Of course you should be my friend" Black replied with a smile looking at Red. Red smiled as well and they chatted a lot back then.

"Looks like I have to force a superior," Inner Black.

The next day, after Red finished packing and preparing the goods he would bring. Liu and Vio came again. As usual, they drove Red to Mira HQ. This time Mira HQ looks more crowded than usual. That confused Red.

"Hey Red here!" Call Black from the crowd.

Red looked up and ran over to Black. It was a bit difficult because this crowd was holding him back.

"Why is it so crowded here?" Ask Red.

"Of course because we're leaving" Black replied.

"We? Aren't you leaving?"

"Hehehe..."

Black whinyesan. From behind Black, appeared a white-haired man like the one in the photo.

"So this is called Red?" Ask Black. Black just nodded.

"Well from now on Red, I'm your captain. Please cooperate" White said, shaking hands with Red.

Mr. Leon stood on a podium, making a speech up there about the mission.

"Here I will introduce to you all the chosen people for this mission" said Mr. Leon and looked at White.

"Let's go up" White said and went to the podium.

"Eh?" Red was confused but Black pulled his hand and followed White.

In addition to the three of them, there were still a few more people including Blue who took the podium. They stand in rows. White stood beside Leon. They both face each other.

"With this, I'll take you on as Captain of The Skeld 385. Lead the crew to the mission and return home safely" Leon said, shaking hands with White.

Everyone applauded. They went to the plane that had been provided and everyone followed them.

"Back safely!"

"Good luck!"

Excite them all. Red's ears started to ring due to the exclamation. But he keeps on following his new crew.

The door slowly closed and the plane flew low and then hurtled upwards. Everyone there was waving around, taking off the crew of The Skeld 385.

The plane has penetrated the atmosphere. The shock has diminished. The plane was in space at the time.

Red was still sitting in his chair and looked at Black beside him, "So you're really coming?"

"Ah yes," Black replied with a big smile.

"But how?"

"There's a point" Black replied, then looked forward again.

Red fixed the location of the Fez hat he was wearing. He looked at everyone who was there. Everything is so foreign. Blue was sitting next to the man wearing the upside-down hat. He looked at Red cynically.

"Hiss!" Red's hiss then turned his face in the opposite direction to Black's. But he was surprised that there was a woman sitting next to him without his knowledge.

"Gosh," cried Red and jumped out of his chair and sat on the floor. Black was surprised to see Red sitting by his feet.

"You why?" Black asked confusedly.

"Pfft hahaha, what a coward you are Red. Time was only so until it fell hahaha," Blue sneered while laughing with the person next to her.

"Shut up" said Red, standing up.

"Sorry to surprise you" said the woman regretfully.

"It's okay," said Red kindly.

the woman was wearing a flower hairpin on her head. She was so beautiful, it made Red nervous.

"What's this?" Black asked lazily and then pulled Red's hand back to sit beside him.

"Have enough pleasantries. Pink go back to your seat!" Black said with a little annoyance.

"Are you jealous of Black?" Tempt another woman.

"I'm not jealous. I just don't like him near you guys" Black replied with a frown.

"Sorry," said Red feeling bad about Black's attitude.

"It's okay" replied the woman, named Pink.

"We're almost there" White said from the wheelhouse.

Red stood by White. He saw such a large plane and remained stationary in its orbit. Blue stood behind Red along with a few others.

When it was near, the back door of the plane opened and they entered through it. After they entered, the door slowly descended and two people were seen. One woman and one man stood up to greet them.

"Welcome to The Skeld" greeted the woman with a serious face.

Red gulps. This is where he will begin.
