Chapter 35: Second Impostor

Red and Black arrive at the cafeteria. They immediately approached White who was visibly riled up by the situation.

"White, what's the current state?" Black asked when he arrived at the cafeteria with Red.

"Not good. The man's injuries were quite severe and have now been taken to medbay. Impostor is really cunning, it can attack when we are rowdy" White explained.

"Captain, have you seen anything else?" Red asked politely. Now the people are no longer crowded.

"You mean our crew? I saw Brown on the medbay, Yellow and Pink quietly freaked out in the corner of this room, Lime and Blue helping to carry the man to the medbay, then Cyan... Oh right, I didn't see Cyan," White said as he looked around.

Red and Black looked at each other, "Since the sabotage, we haven't seen him" Red said.

"I feel uncomfortable" Black commented.

BAM!

Suddenly, the lights on Mira HQ went out and the place was pitch black. Everyone was shocked and immediately turned on their respective flashlights.

"Sabotage again?" Ask Red. But Black and White just kept quiet.

The crowd is back boisterous. But amidst the commotion, the only thing that sounded clear in Red's ears was only the screams from Black.

"Revelation!"

Someone pushed Red's body and made him fall backwards.

JLB!

A liquid thing splashed onto Red's cheek. The smell of rancid meets Red's sense of smell. The lights are back on. Red was overwhelmed by what he saw.

It turns out that Black was the one who pushed Red down. That's what he did because there was a long tongue that intended to stab Red. But because the target is not hit, others are the victims. The liquid that splashed onto Red's cheek was the blood of that victim.

2 Guardians and 1 scientist were stabbed in the tongue and are now in a hanging condition. White fell in the opposite direction and her expression was no less surprised as well.

"Yahoo!!!" A woman screamed hysterically and some of her left.

They all looked at the source of the tongue. Red, Black and White were completely shocked and unexpected by what they saw.

"Cyan?" Red was unable to make his voice. His esophagus is choked.

Cyan stood in front of the balcony door. He lowered his head then pulled out his tongue and allowed the impaled person to fall to the floor.

He lifted his head then smiled cynically. It was not Cyan's smile and his eyes were also originally light blue, turning blood red.

Some people immediately ran out of the cafeteria and some guards immediately attacked Cyan. But Cyan nimbly avoided their invasion and instantly killed them with his tongue.

Cyan ran to the exit and blocked the remaining people in that place. There were Red, Black, White, Pink, Yellow and a few more people.

Black put up the horses to keep watch from Cyan's sudden attack. White pulled Red back.

"Is that really you, Cyan?" Black asked while remaining vigilant.

"You think?" Cyan asked as he looked at Black with a sharp look.

"I don't think so," Black replied and then immediately attacked Cyan.

Cyan pulled out his tongue and charged back at Black. But that's not an obstacle for Black who doesn't use a gun.

The punch hit Cyan's face. Cyan's tongue slapped Black's waist to the point of bleeding, but Black quickly caught the tongue and threw it away from the door, along with Cyan.

"Everybody get out of here!" White's orders.

Everyone came out, including Pink and Yellow. Someone immediately pressed the danger warning button to call the guards to that place.

"Red, what's wrong with you?" Ask White. But Red was silent and dumb.

Plaque!

A slap landing on Red's cheek suddenly made him startled and aware of his daydream.

"Captain?" Red asked confusedly.

"Don't be dumb, kid! Black is fighting Cyan, aren't you going to help him?" Todong White's.

Red looked down, "But I don't want to fight my friends."

"White, it's not good to use someone else's name to provoke others," Black who was fighting still had a chance to comment.

"Be quiet! Focus on the one in front of you" White replied annoyedly.

DOR'S!

A gunshot rattled them and it looked as if Black was retreating while staggered.

"Yes God! He has a weapon" Black exclaimed, wiping his bloody arm from the shot.

White glanced at one of the guards' corpses. He immediately took the guard's gun and knife and threw it at Black.

With a swift Black caught it then turned around while pointing his knife towards Cyan.

"Look! Now I have a gun and I'm not afraid of you" Black said, brandishing his knife.

Cyan did not comment and just directly attacked Black by shooting him. But Black deflected it with a knife and attacked back. A firefight between the two of them leads White to pull Red back and hide behind a table that has changed position.

"They were daring to shoot at such a close distance" White commented while peeking carefully, afraid of being hit by stray bullets.

Meanwhile, Red was still silent. White's words were quite disturbing his mind. His gaze was fixed on the object that was leaning on the wall.

His eyes were wide open, "That's it," he murmured.

The gun that Black was holding slipped from his hand due to the attack from Cyan. Immediately Cyan kicked Black until his body hit the wall hard.

"Black!" Call White but she's still in her position. He actually wanted to help, but he knew that he would only be a burden.

Cyan took out his tongue and the tongue moved towards Black. But when the tongue had not touched Black, someone appeared and blocked the tongue with a sweeper.

Plaque!

Cyan was startled and immediately withdrew his tongue. Black who had previously closed his eyes opened his eyes and was surprised by the person standing in front of him.

"Red?" Black asked in shock.

"You, Cyan! I'm not afraid of you!" Exclaim Red while pointing the sweeper towards Cyan.

Cyan points his gun at Red, but Red turns his sweeper to block the bullet.

Red approached Cyan and hit his hand with the gun until it fell. Cyan attacked Red with a knife, but was repelled and repulsed.

Although it was only a sweeper, but it managed to overwhelm Cyan. He pulls out his tongue and attacks Red, along with a stroke of his knife.

Red, who could not block the simultaneous attack, ended up being hit by the knife in his arm. Not bad, but enough to turn things around.

Cyan jumped with his mouth open. He's going to eat Red alive. But Red held down Cyan's mouth with the sweeper's rod, so that stem was what he bit.

Red's position is really squashed. Cyan on top of his body managed to hold Red to not move anywhere. Cyan raised his knife to stab Red.

But Black appears and kicks Cyan's body into the wall. Red stood up with Black's help.

Now two against one. Cyan realized that he would not be able to fight both of them at once. Black alone has been very disturbing, especially if plus Red.

Cyan also sabotaged the lamp so that the place was pitch-black. Red and Black turned their backs to guard themselves.

But they're not actually the ones being targeted. The lights turned off that Cyan used to run from the cafeteria. Black, who realizes that Cyan is running away, immediately invites Red to pursue him.

Meanwhile, the guards, who had almost reached the top floor, were stuck in the middle of the road due to the lights. They had to go through the stairs that had thousands of stairs.
