Chapter 18: Impostor vs Crewmate

Black pressed the emergency meeting button. All the Crewmates are gathered. They looked at each other, especially White. He wondered why Black had gathered them.

"Why are you calling us, Black?" Ask Orange.

"I gathered you here because there's something I want to say" Black replied.

"What's that?" Ask Purple.

"Red's missing, he's most likely kidnapped" Black replies again.

They were all shocked and whispered to each other. Red kidnapped? Who did it? More or less that's their mind.

"Woi you're kidding, right? What's so special about Red that someone kidnapped her?" Blue did not believe it.

"Does my expression look like I'm joking?" Black asked back and looked at Blue with a serious gaze making Blue shrivel.

"If Red wasn't kidnapped, tell him. Did you guys see him?" Ask Black again.

They were silent and could not answer. No one has ever met Red.

"Oh yes, Black. I remember there was something I wanted to say" Pink said. Black looked at her.

"What's that?"

"When I was going to do the task, I stopped by the security room and fiddled to see the cctv. I saw Red go into the admin and then Blue followed. I saw Blue running out. I don't know what happened next because after that I left security" Pink reported.

They all looked at Blue. Blue who was stared at in cold sweat, he realized that he was currently in deep trouble.

"Is that right, Blue?" Ask White.

"Yes, that's right Captain," Blue replied as he lowered his head not daring to look at their faces that were like they were going to eat it.

"What made you run away from admin?" This time Black asked.

Blue gulped and told him everything that had really happened. Honestly, he felt guilty and did not expect his joke to end with the loss of Red.

"But not necessarily Red lost because of me. He could have gone missing while leaving the admin. Pink herself had no idea what happened after I left the admin," Blue was still trying to defend herself.

"Red is missing in admin. I found his hat and his paper task near the vent," Black replied, then took out the two objects, "There hasn't been a single task completed. Oh yes one more, there's blood on the floor near these two things."

All the Crewmates were speechless. They were shocked after hearing all of Black's statements, especially Blue.

"By the way you're missing, do you realize there's no Green and Lime here?" Yellow asked breaking the silence.

"You're right, I didn't see Cyan either" Orange replied.

"I asked Cyan to clean the blank. As for the two of them, I don't know" White said.

"I saw Green chasing Rugel. I think she must have met Lime and now she must be together" Purple said.

Black looked at White, "So what do you think, White? What's your decision?"

White seemed to think, "From your report, Black. I think Red was pulled into the vent. Inside the vent was definitely crowded, so she must have come out in one of the places on this plane with the person who kidnapped her," then she stared at all her crew, "Let's find Red. Check all the rooms on this plane and all the places that have vent. Go both-two!"

All the Crewmates nodded then started looking for Red. They search in every room, including their room because their room has a vent.

But after everything is checked, they don't find Red or any clues to the man's disappearance. It made Black anxious.

Meanwhile, somewhere else...

Green and Lime stopped running. They walked slowly while panting.

"So soon your pet ran away, Green," said Lime, wiping the sweat off his forehead.

"Yes, where is he now?" Ask Green. They lost track of Rugel.

But when they got to one of the turns, they saw Rugel standing facing one of the doors of the room.

"Eh, that's it," pointed at Lime and ran towards Rugel with Green.

"Rabelle!" Call Green.

But Rugel did not answer. He just stared at the door.

"He why?" Lime asked confusedly.

"Usually if it's like this, it means that Rugel feels that something dangerous is nearby. I think there's something dangerous behind this door" Green replied.

"dangerous? Then we have to get out of here. I also heard the emergency meeting earlier, we have to go back," Lime asked.

Suddenly Green covered his nose, "Ugh I smell a very strong smell of blood."

Lime was surprised, "Blood? From where?"

Green sniffed around and sniffed the door. But he was a little bit away while closing his nose, "His smell is from the room" he said.

"That's it, but this room was never used and was also locked. So who can get into a locked room?" Ask Lime.

"It's definitely not a good thing" Green replied, then approached the door and tried to open it.

Lime was finally moved to help Green, "Let me open it. This door uses a number code, you can't."

Green invites Lime to do so. Meanwhile Lime began to enter the numbers to open the door. But when he was about to enter the last number, Green suddenly held him back.

"There's something dangerous behind this door. We'd better find something to take cover for if suddenly it ambushes us" Green explained.

Lime nodded then took out her English key and Green took out an iron bar to fight back.

The last figure was finished and the door opened, they were prepared for standby and Rugel was getting louder and harder. The room was pitch black because no one was wearing it.

They remained alert even though no one ambushed them.

"Hey Green, the room is so dark. I remember there's a light switch next to this door, can you turn it on?" Pinta Lime's.

Green nodded then turned on the light switch. But because it had not been used for a long time, the lights were twinkling before turning on normally. But when it twinkled, Green felt the danger.

"Lime, lookout!" Pekik Green then ran crashing himself into Lime.

SRETT!

Both of their bodies hit the floor hard. Lime grimaced in pain and looked at Green to question his actions, but what he saw surprised him.

He saw Green lying on the floor with an injured leg. Green grimaced and Rugel growled in anger.

"Green, are you okay?" Lime asked worriedly as she approached Green.

Green sat down with Lime, "Look what's ahead of us, Lime."

Lime looked ahead and was surprised. He saw the figure that attacked them while in The Skeld 301, now standing before them. What makes Lime even more surprised is that now the size of the person has increased from the first time he saw it.

"So he's dangerous. But how did he get here ?" Inner Lime.

Lime's gaze was suddenly fixed on a figure lying face down on the floor with a body full of wounds. Although he did not see his face, but Lime knew who it was.

"That's Red? What did you do to her?" Lime asked in anger.

"GAAARRR!!!" The monster screamed.

"Woof! Woof!" Gonggong Rugel though it wasn't too sinister. But his courage is worth appreciating.

"Hey Green, you can still move, right?" Ask Lime.

"Yes, I can still."

"Then back off! Let me take care of it."

Green was surprised, "But it's dangerous, I won't back down."

"You're hurt right now. Don't make yourself my burden" said Lime, who may have sounded piercing.

Green fell silent then looked at his feet and finally understood, "Alright, I leave everything to you," then sucked back.

But not far away Green sucked, Lime stopped him and tied his wound with a piece of cloth. After that go and put up the horses to fight.

The monster took out its tentacles and attacked Lime. But Lime, who only uses English keys, can still avoid it easily.

No matter how many tentacles the monster released, still none of them managed to hit Lime. When one tentacle was about to hit Lime, Green threw his iron rod to block it. Now that the monster was really angry, it was like he was looking at Black within Lime.

It was also difficult for Lime to dodge because now not only did the tentacle attack him, but he also had to avoid claws that could make him cut.

Rugel won't lose. He moved towards the back of the monster then jumped up and bit his head. The monster screamed in pain and tried to reach Rugel.

Because Rugel bit him, the movement of the tentacles became uncontrollable. Suddenly there are two tentacles that hit Lime's body to make it collapse and release the weapon.

Finally the monster managed to get Rugel then threw him against the wall violently.

"Rabelle!" Green really panicked and tried to reach out to his pet who was then unconscious.

The monster opened its mouth and attacked Lime with its long, pointed tongue. Lime did not have time to dodge because there were tentacles that held her back from leaving. The tongue quickly slid through Lime's head.

THE TANG!

Suddenly there was a sound of iron lacing and the tongue was pulled back by the monster. Lime opened her eyes because she had closed them, afraid to see it pierce her head. But this time all he saw was an aluminum bucket dented on one side.

"I haven't cleaned up this place yet," a familiar voice sounded Lime was speaking behind her. Lime.

Cyan stood with his right hand outstretched forward, which seemed to have been used to throw the bucket. And the left hand that holds the floor mop.

Lime was surprised and happy. This way he won't have any trouble.

"Oh yeah by the way, I brought reinforcements," said Cyan.

There were footsteps getting closer to them, and from behind Cyan appeared all the Crewmates. They stood beside Cyan.

"It's so big" Blue commented.

"I see Red, he's there," Black pointed.

They look in the direction pointed, seen Red who is still in his position. His body had absolutely no movement, they had trouble ascertaining his condition.

"His blood is a lot, is he okay?" Ask Pink worried.

"Whatever it is, we have to take it to Medbay" Black replied.

"That's very difficult. The monster's blocking us from taking Red, '" Green said.

Brown immediately approached her after seeing the condition of her feet. He helped Green stand up and then wiped him out.

"Me and the female Crewmate will be waiting on Medbay" Brown said.

White nodded letting them go because this was dangerous for them. Brown hired Green with Purple. While Yellow was carrying the unconscious Rugel. Pink followed them.

After the departure of the female Crewmates, they all held their respective weapons. Including Orange who uses a batter clamp, does not look dangerous but quite sick.

They also attack simultaneously. Due to their large numbers, it was easy to get close to the monster. Orange himself managed to blow the monster's head which was the bite mark of Rugel.

Feeling the pain, the monster catches Orange and throws him against the wall. Blue attacked from in front of him, but was avoided and instead ended up being kicked by the monster.

Black ambushes him, but the monster jumps to avoid him while firing a shot at Black. But Lime shows up and fends off the bullet.

Cyan throws his bucket at the monster and attacks it with a mopper. But the monster snatched away his besieger and threw it at White. But White catches her and returns her to Cyan.

They ganged up on the monster so that he could not attack even a little. Even Black held onto his tentacles and threw them in another direction until they hit the floor. Black was really angry at that moment.

They still attacked him even though now the monster had no chance. Unable to attack, the monster was intent on doing something to escape.

Suddenly White sensed something that made her stop moving and retreat.

"Everyone, back!" White's orders with a shout.

They were all shocked then jumped back away from the monster, and sure enough.

THE DUAR!

The monster blew itself up. His explosion was not too big but enough to make them almost thrown. Not even then will be wasted by the monster.

Krieet... Blam it!

There was a sound of a vent opening and closing. Since the smoke had already disappeared, they could see that the monster had managed to escape. They're approaching the vent.

"S*al, he's running away. I'm gonna go after him," Black said, and then set out to open a vent. But White held him back.

"Don't Black, it's dangerous. You'd have trouble moving around on vent and he'd easily kill you," forbid White from holding Black's hand.

"But, we can't just let her run away" Black protested.

"Just leave him alone, we'll have to take care of Red first" White said, leaving.

Black recalled, "Yes, you're right" he said, running towards Red.

They all surrounded Red and Black reversed his position. His blood still flowed out, especially from his head.

"Is he still alive?" Ask Orange.

Black attached both fingers to Red's neck to feel his pulse.

"He's alive, but his heart rate is weak. I'll take him to medbay" said Black, holding Red and running to medbay.

All the Crewmates also came running after him from behind.

"When I should have finished cleaning this place today," lamented Cyan who was answered patted by Orange's back.

Meanwhile, on the vent, the monster growls in anger as its goal has been thwarted by the Crewmates.

Meanwhile, upon arriving at Medbay, the wounds on Red's body were immediately bandaged and Red himself examined Brown to make sure no other injuries.

"There were some broken bones, but they were still treatable. It's a good thing we came quickly so he's still treatable" Brown said.

All Crewmate breathes a sigh of relief. They immediately came out because there was still something Brown had to do. They approached Green who was sitting in the cafeteria while stroking Rugel on his lap.

But Blue went straight away and sat down on another chair. White and Black looked at her and walked over.

"Why aren't you with them?" Ask White.

"I still feel guilty, Captain. Because I'm Red, it's like this" Blue replied without seeing White.

"It turns out you can feel guilty too," Black's insinuation makes Blue surprised to not realize Black is there.

"Of course, I'm human" Blue replied.

Black approached Blue and patted her on the shoulder, "I'm not mad at you. Instead I'm grateful, because you're honest so we can find Red, '" he said.

Blue raised his face and looked at Black. He did not expect the person he thought as a annoying person could turn out to be good as well. Finally he stood up and approached another Crewmate.

"Hey I have an idea, how about we give the monster a name" Pink suggested.

"Name? But for what?" Ask Lime.

"Because that "Monster" I think is inappropriate," Pink replied.

"And if "Alien" is also inaccurate," Cyan replied.

"Is that so? I concur. But what name will we give you?" Ask Green.

"I know, how about "Impostor"?" Advice Yellow.

"Impostors? What does that mean?" Ask Orange.

"Impostor means an impostor or a fraud. It corresponds to the monster that can imitate the form of Captain William from The Skeld 301 who has died" explained Yellow.

They looked at each other and nodded their heads. Finally they agreed to name the monster Impostor.
