Ares: Never Grow Up

Ares: Never Grow Up
The last two days!

POV: Riot

...

I know that something's been weird, the atmosphere has been awkward lately. But I'm afraid that if I bring it up, it will break this team. That's why the safest option I'm going to do now is to just shut up and wait.

If things get worse, I'll open my mouth later.

Vani and Ares who have since disappeared have not returned, and Ken who looks pensive while writing strange things on paper.

Let me take a peek, is he still writing?

The deg!

I realized that Ken was glancing at me earlier, unconsciously I immediately pretended not to know and continued to play composing cards.

Why is he looking at me with such an investigative look?! Did I do anything wrong? I just put together the cards?! I don't play gambling or anything, do I?!

I kept trying to pretend to be unconscious, and Ken shifted his eyes. I just dared to glance at Ken, he put down the pencil he was holding while observing the drawing he made from earlier.

"Riot do you have a lighter? Or maybe a match?"

The deg!

I was surprised not to play when he suddenly asked me. I stroked my chest for a moment, and then I looked at Ken.

"Nothing, why are you looking for a lighter?" I asked Ken. He did not answer and just smiled. He was now squeezing the paper he was holding excitedly.

"It's okay, I just want to burn this paper. But now that it's no longer, I'll just bury it in the ground" Ken said as he walked cheerfully outwards. I just gawked at Ken who was suddenly cheerful and excited.

His brain is not short-lived due to depression, is it? It's creepy.

Worried about Ken, I broke down my card line and walked quietly to follow him. Luckily Ken did not go far, on this dark night, he stood about 5 meters away from the house, then started crouching and digging in the ground.

What the hell is he doing? Why did he bury the paper?

"Well! I have decided that I will be better in the future! I don't want to keep this paper, because it's ... I leave it to you huh? The ground can definitely destroy this paper as time goes by." Ken spoke to himself in front of the mound of earth in front of him. After saying that, he stood up and started walking back.

I immediately panicked and ran quickly to get to where I had arranged my card. After that try acting as natural as possible in front of Ken.

"Oh? Did the card fall again? Want me to help?" Ken was by my side, staring at the flat arrangement of my cards on the floor.

"Aahaha! No need, I'm tired of playing it! I just want to rest!" I said lie while cleaning up the cards scattered on the floor. Ken nodded slowly and began to help me pick up the card.

Thankfully, I don't think things will get worse.

POV: Ares

I regret.

WHY DID HE TELL ME TO BRING THIS MUCH FRUIT?! THIS DAMN THING IS HEAVY! IF ONLY I HADN'T MADE THE CART, I WOULD HAVE BROKEN MY HAND IF I HAD BEEN TOLD TO LIFT IT!

"Why did you tell me to bring this much fruit?!" I have a lot of emotions on him. Vani just smiled as he stuck out his tongue, he then moved to my left side and helped me to push a tinder full of fruit.

"Ehe, I intend to hold a fruit party, although not too festive, but I hope the residents will not be too tense over the events that have passed.

Well, we don't have much time here much longer either, do we? Therefore, in the rest of this precious time, I want to give them as much experience and peace of soul as I can" Vani said with a genuine expression. I took a deep breath and breathed it out.

I don't think until there, right also .. surely the residents also experienced a hard time because of the incident this time.

"All right! Then, I'll have the most fun party!" enthusiastic say. Me and Vani then laughed together, heading towards our house in Ansorteri City.

The next day, Vani and I secretly prepared this simple fruit feast, assisted by the animals and Safa, located in the middle of the forest. Ken and Riot I told them to help the people with the construction so they wouldn't be suspicious when Safa and I disappeared.

"Ares! Is if hanging like this good?!" safa asked as she pointed towards the two birds holding long red black paper on top of the tree.

"Hmmm, great! Then ... lighting where do we put it?" ask me while staring at the torch I just made for tonight.

The srek!

I was surprised when an elephant picked up one of the torches I was holding, and he stuck it on the ground. Likewise with other animals, ranging from squirrels, monkeys, to some rats come and take the torch, then start to stick it in some other place.

"Oh .. thanks!" I said to Safa who gave the 'ok' sign through her hand. We then continued to look at the decorations in the middle of this forest, starting from arranging the fruit place, giving decorative details in several places, and also preparing to light a torch.

Because it was too busy, we didn't even realize that the day had started to darken, I signaled to Safa that we should finish the decoration immediately.

"It's finished anyway .. but it feels like there's still less. What yes?" safa muttered confused while continuing to look around her.

"How about honey?" vani asked as he looked at the crowd of bees carrying a small piece of their hive. Safa and I gawked for a moment, I was sure that Safa never asked the bees to give them honey. But it seems that the animals themselves took the initiative to reward us.

Safa immediately picked up a piece of banana leaf that was wide enough, and received the cut with a smile.

"Thank you! I didn't know that you guys were gonna give this to me!" said Safa with a shining face.

The bees circled around Safa several times, then disappeared among the lush foliage of the tree. Safa started whistling, and a white dove came with red eyes.

"Can you tell Riot that the party is ready? That would be a big help!" safa said to the pigeon. The bird immediately flew again, heading towards the city. Now Safa turned again to face the row of trees in front of him.

"Excuse me, can you open a path for the citizens later? So they don't get lost on their way here!" said Safa while touching the tree trunk in front of her. Miraculously, the tree line started to move a little, they did not move, but they opened a wide enough road that could be seen up to the city.

"Well good! We're ready!"

TBC.

Don't forget the likes, guys!
