Ares: Never Grow Up

POV: Author

Ares carried flying one by one the sack containing the powerful acid powder. Yeah, it's not a regular strong acid. The acid can melt the soil even iron. Quickly and without a sound, Ares placed the five sacks in five different places.

"Well, let's start the show!" ares said while turning on the wick. The sack was instantly on fire, the smoke generated directly headed towards the sky. Vani's black cloud has not completely disappeared, this helps the process of rain decline to be faster. 

"Before the rain falls, I must meet them immediately!" ares said and flew away.

WUSH OFF!

"You ... Where ... are you?" City threw a sizable shop towards Ares. With a swift Ares immediately turned around and dodged. Ares's golden eyes were fixed with City's black eyes.

GLURK GLUDUING!

The rumbling sounds started to sound again. Ares realized that he would never get to go to his colleagues.

I won't have time to go to them. The rain will soon fall, how to make them know?, - Inner Ares.

His mind continued to be unfocused while dealing with City. He was afraid that his friends would be exposed to this acid rain as well.

Ares smiled in relief after hearing that voice. He began to close his eyes again, imagining oil.

"Ordinary weapons won't be enough to defeat him" Ares said, closing his eyes.

Ares snapped his finger, instantly the whole barrel spilled and finally the oil fell to the ground. The fire from the burning sack was still there, so it immediately grabbed the falling oil earlier. Within seconds, the city was destroyed by lightning. It turned into a sea of fire without any remnant. Not all of them, just in Ares.

"You're a hobby of throwing houses?" ares said while avoiding some houses thrown by City. Not stopping there, Ares immediately made two shotguns with explosive bullets.

He flew quickly while circling the City.

THE DUAR!

Undoubtedly in every shot, Ares is aiming right at the eyes of City. Although of course his actions were in vain. The damage caused by the explosion was immediately covered again by the ground and buildings.

"So he's not just a giant, but he's the 'Oner City' itself" Ares said as he landed on City's arm. His arms were enormous, even larger than the inter-island bridge.

Ares kept his shotgun behind his back, he ran forward towards City's face while making some grenades.

Every time Ares stepped up, he threw a grenade into City's face, the giant was visibly annoyed by Ares' bomb.

As City raised its fists, Ares flew quickly and away. As a result, City's boxing even damaged his own body. Seeing the opportunity in this matter, Ares did not stay silent and immediately rained down the big wound with an explosive shotgun.

The fight continued, the explosion continued to flare up adorning the dark and gloomy city. The lightning above the sky had already begun to snag, meaning that the acid rain would start soon.

The rain finally fell. Ares quickly went down and swooped down. He was hiding under a thick basement.

"My calculations worked!" ares said he was happy to see City's body parts begin to fall out. Buildings affected by this acid rain begin to melt, becoming liquid. Of course, for a giant City, he would be severely damaged.

Ares turned towards the voice that called out to him, it turned out that it was Riot who brought Vani and Ken with him. Ken immediately ran towards Ares and hugged him tightly.

"Sorry .. sorry ... are you okay?!" ken asked while holding both of Ares' cheeks. With a gentle smile, Ares nodded his head.

"How do you know I'm here?" ask Ares to Riot.

"I came here after being healed by Ken! And when I suddenly knew something, there was no need to imagine a place for me to teleport. I just have to know where my eyes are looking" Riot said with a smile. Ares walked towards Riot then hugged him.

"Huh? Whatchu mean? I didn't cure you? When I was there, you slept unharmed" Ken said suddenly. Riot who heard this was immediately shocked, he thought that Ken had already healed him.

"What?! Who healed me?" ask Riot again. Ares who heard the conversation between the two of them, actually wanted to come along to talk. Again, an earthquake occurred.

DRRK!

"What else is this?! Is that goddamn giant not dead yet?!" annoyed Ares while leaning against the wall. While Ken and Vani are holding on to the pole, Riot is curled up next to Ares.

This earthquake lasted quite a long time. No matter how many minutes passed, Ares and the others finally opened their eyes.

"The giant .. is gone" said Vani when he saw a giant chunk full of holes. It was a reaction from the strong acid rain that Ares had brought down.

Seeing the giant carcass, Ares immediately flew up and approached towards him. His eyes saw a small child buried by the carcass.

"Jad City's original form is a child too?" murmured Ares while landing beside him. Ares touched the boy's wrist, it turns out he's gone. Sighing sadly, Ares closed both of the boy's eyes.

[You did it!]

[Thank you for killing him!]

"Have you healed Riot?" ares asked with a small smile on his face.

[Right, we can't just let our beloved son die!]

[Please take care of Riot yes, we can't be here anymore.]

[Now your job is one more.]

Ares frowned, confused by what they meant.

"Huh? What do you mean," said Ares was cut off because of the earthquake that suddenly came again.

DRK!

"WHAT ELSE IS THIS?!" yelled Ares annoyed. His eyes stared at the crack that had emerged from the earthquake crack. This earthquake is different from the earthquake. Water began to appear and gushed out in large quantities.

"If this continues .. This city will sink!" ares said and flew up. Since Ares was flying, he was not affected by the earthquake, he immediately shot towards his comrades earlier.

The water that came out reached the knees of the children. Ares believes, in a matter of hours, this city will sink later.
