Who's the girl?

"Riot, what do you mean ... the girl?" I asked while pointing towards the girl covered in blood.

POV: Ken

I gulped my saliva hard, doubting what I saw with my eyes. Everything I saw was completely in line with the description given by Riot. But why ... WHAT DO I SEE IS CREEPY?!

"Don't .. She's an h-h-ghost?!" I said with a vibrating body. I stood up and ran towards Riot. I quickly grabbed his hand and hid behind his back.

"A-a-is that ga-ga-ga-girl you mean?!" ask me with a frightened tone. Riot immediately looked in the direction I pointed at, his eyes instantly widened upon seeing her.

"Huh? Is there no one?" riot said with a dismissive tone. Hearing Riot's words, of course I became even more shocked. I looked in that direction, and sure enough. The girl has disappeared.

...["Hahaha, you're a coward, aren't you?"]...

I clasped Riot's hand firmly.

"Did you hear that voice?!" I asked while trying to hide behind Riot's back. But again Riot gave an answer that he did not hear it.

Means only I can see and hear this?! Since when have I been able to see ghosts?! I never wanted this ability! No!

" ... I think we should go home" Riot said with a look of pity. He hugged me and closed his eyes.

It turns out he teleported. When I opened my eyes, we were home. I was able to breathe with relief when I got to this house.

"Here!" Riot led me to sit on the couch. He didn't say anything, just kept quiet and watched me. Sometimes he also patted me on the back a few times to help me calm down.

"We're home!" Vani comes shouting as she enters the house. His eyes looked at me with a surprised look.

Basic Vani, she's too energetic! I'm tired of running after him! Never mind, I'm just walking.

As soon as I entered the house, I was greeted with a strange atmosphere here. It feels so strange and different, I've never felt anything like this before.

"What's wrong?" I asked when I saw Vani who was busy calming Ken down.

"Ken, he saw a ghost," explained Riot who came over while carrying a cold tea. I scrunched my forehead, was Ken afraid of ghosts?

And wait, there's a ghost here? How does it exist? Is he a child or an adult? But what if he's still a kid? Aish stop! Why am I so busy thinking about this?

"You're afraid of ghosts, Ken?" I asked and sat down in front of Ken. As soon as I mentioned the word ghost, Ken was immediately aghast and buried his head in Vani. I don't know why I'm upset to see it.

"So, this seems to explain everything" I said with a sigh at the end of the sentence. Finally we were busy accompanying Ken until he calmed down all night. I think this is just a normal occurrence caused by stress about the state of the world. That's why I thought that Ken would recover in one day.

But why ....he's getting worse?

"She kept saying look at that 'girl. Haaah, if you know this .. I shouldn't have to ask her," said Riot regretfully as he closed his eyes with his hands. I stared when I heard something strange about Riot's words, girl? Wh who?

"What do you mean?" ask again. Riot looked at me flatly and then finally explained everything to me. Even the first day that Ken was acting weird.

"So you went with Ken ... to find the girl who haunted Ken?" I just don't believe it. Riot nodded with a resigned face.

How'this? I don't really believe in ghosts, but if Ken shows such a reaction .. does that mean he's real? But why did only Ken see it? If Ken could suddenly see something like that, he should have seen it from the beginning. This doesn't make any sense.

Or... Is there an enemy who has an illusion technique? But it's too coincidental if he just attacked Ken. He couldn't possibly know that Ken was afraid of ghosts, right? I was the one who was always with him didn't know.

But if this is really an enemy attack. Then he has landed a fatal attack on us. Ken is not only a healer in our team, but he is also a 'brain' figure in our team. No, more of a brain .. she's like a mother who supports the emotional whole team. The decline of the mother figure here has been very influential, ranging from Vani who rarely acts silly, and Riot who rarely speaks.

BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FINISH IT EITHER! HOW CAN I ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING ONLY KEN CAN SEE?!

"WHAT?! ANOTHER EARTHQUAKE?!" I shouted while trying to get back to Riot's house. But it's too late, all of a sudden this whole city is shaking and starting to split apart. I could see that Riot's house, which should only be 30 meters in front of me, was split apart and moved away many kilometers away.

It's like, the whole city is under control! He changed the map of this city by overhauling everything! Damnit damnit! Not only did he manage to degrade the mental condition of the team, he also managed to cut off all of our communication.

"And if it's like this, Riot can't use his abilities! He had already mastered the terrain and new information in this entire city!" I growled while holding on to the cracked asphalt. This earthquake is getting longer and more quiet.

"Have you stopped?" ask me while looking at the area around.

It's so completely foreign. The place I should have been to was a park with a pretty beautiful lake. Now this has turned into tall buildings that have been half destroyed.

"He turned the entire city, making it a new area that only he controlled" I said as I walked away.

POV: Vani

"W-what?" I was sitting limp when I knew this wasn't an area I knew anymore. Riot's house should be on the riverbank with a highway in front of him. But now, this house was on top of a tall building with various ruins around it.

I started to look the other way, because I was on top of the building, so my gaze could be freer. But the result was beyond belief. Everything is foreign, streets, city structures, buildings. Nothing I know here.

"Vani? How do we get down from here?"

I looked up when I heard Ken's voice. He came out of the house with a blanket covering his body, there was a black circumference around his eyes, of course because he did not sleep well for almost about 1 week. He had even become thinner from eating very little.

"We need to calm down first, I'm sure we can find Ar-" I said cut off because of Ken who suddenly shouted.

..."AAAA! VANI! HE'S BACK AGAIN!"...
