Ares: Never Grow Up

Ares: Never Grow Up
Pieces Riot. (3)

POV: Riot

I looked at the boy with a lazy look. He came to our house in all white clothes like a doctor, his disgusting way of speaking was like licking dirt. Everything was.

I hate everything about him.

"As I said before, if you want to cooperate with my research, guaranteed! You will be a normal human being as you were!" he said with a convincing tone. Both of my parents seemed to have eaten his shit.

"Dad! Mama! Don't want!" I said while pulling my mother's sleeve. He looked at me with a gentle smile, his delicate hand touching the tip of my finger.

"Riot, if this works. Aren't we gonna live a normal life again, baby? Hm?" ask with a smooth tone. I scrunched my forehead, thinking about how to convince my parents.

Mother, there is no such thing as a normal life in the world that it is today. How do I make you understand?

I shook my head quickly, in a gesture I did not want to agree to the child's offer. But it seems my father and mother are not paying attention to me.

"We don't even know him! Why should we trust him?!" my words do not accept. The boy looked at me with that smile again. The most disgusting smile I've ever seen.

"So you said he was 16?" he asked while looking at my father.

"Ah, right! Please forgive his selfish attitude, I'll talk to him later, professor!" my father smiled awkwardly. I clenched my hand tightly.

Although I was only 16 years old, but I also knew.

Where is the sincere smile and the hypocritical smile in front of me!

"I will never agree to your offer! It will never!" my firmness. My father looked angry at my words, and my mother panicked after I said those words.

"Riot Valvera! Is this how you behave to strangers and your own parents?!" snapped at me. I was silent, looking into my father's eyes. So does the damn professor. I hate him.

"No matter what the offer, no matter what you say, I will never approve it!" I pointed towards the professor, my eyes still staring intently into my father's eyes.

Deg.

From this feeling, I know. My father was preparing to hit me. I immediately closed my eyes, thinking of a place in one part of this city.

Fuut!

"The fruit! With Dad's strength, if he hit me earlier I must have a concussion, "I said while sitting on the grass. I was now on the riverbank, staring at the flowing water.

"The water is getting clearer, is it because many factories and companies are no longer operating?" ask me to myself. I sat down while hugging my knees, hiding my face into it.

Come to think of it, it seems like I've gone too far too. I shouldn't hate someone just because of my personal opinion.

It may be true that professor Ron is a good man.

All righty! Let's go back!

I immediately stood up, the sunlight swiftly charging towards my eyes. It turned out that now it was afternoon, the rays of his waist were so beautiful and dazzling.

But somehow, this light made my heart uncomfortable.

I immediately closed my eyes, imagining the room in my house.

Fuut!

"Mother's Dad!" I quickly got out of the room.

...

But this house is very quiet, and wet. A lot of water is inundated here.

Is there a flood? But today it didn't even rain.

I walked towards the sofa. This whole house is a mess. Like it's been ransacked by someone. I gulped my saliva nervously, slowly walking towards the room belonging to my father and mother.

Click. Kriyet.

"Dad? Mammy? You guys in there?" I asked while peeking out from the open door. But there's no one. I immediately ran out, checking things around the house.

But there's no one either.

Where'd they?

I closed my eyes, thinking of a place my father and mother might go.

Fuut!

My father's office. There's no one.

Fuut!

The supermarket is also very quiet!

Fuut!

In the city park is also quiet.

Where did everyone go?!

There should have been enough kids here since yesterday. Especially supermarkets, because there are still many ingredients that can be eaten.

I closed my eyes again, thinking of the place I always went.

Fuuts.

School. My eyes stared at the empty land with an iron carcass in the middle. Boulders of walls that have been fused with the ground, as well as iron rockets that have begun to rust.

"How many crows are there?" I muttered while walking through the flat school area. Until my eyes found a small crack next to the rocket body.

The gap is like pointing underground. I sat down and tried to slowly enter. It's a good thing this gap is big enough so my body isn't pinched.

"Ack! Aaaa!"

BRUISES!

"Ow .. I didn't know the ground could be slippery ...," I muttered after falling from above.

Deg.

Wh-what's this?

Deg.

Deg.

Tu-wait ... This ... the townspeople?

Deg.

They're all here?!

Deg.

I walked down the room, my hand touching one of the tubes with the boy in it. He seemed to be sound asleep in this green water.

Deg.

"D-dad?"

Deg.

"Ib ... mom?"

Deg.

I walked towards them with trembling legs. My hands touched both of their tubes. My eyes looked at them in turn, eyes closed as if asleep.

Tubs! Tubs! Tubs!

"MOTHER! WAKE MOM! MOM!" I hit the glass that locked my mother. Keep hitting it until my hand is red.

It hurts so much that my tears drip every time I hit him.

Tubs! Tubs!

"Bu ... let's get up .. My hand hurts ...," I said in tears. Even so I did not give up, I still continued to hit the glass. Until the red spots stick to the clear glass.

Plap plap!

I heard someone's hand clap. My activity of hitting the glass came to a halt, now my attention was completely turned to the source of the sound.

"I didn't think you were here yourself.".

I thought, it's Ron.

He was standing in front of me in a white uniform that was his doctor. His eyes looked at me sharply as if I was his prey.

"Do you like what you see?" ask her with a disgusting smile. I clenched my hand.

"If you don't run away, you can also be one of them~," uca Ron pointed at the glass tubes beside me.

So this is really her doing?!

I grit my teeth hard. My hands clenched together with the rushing blood coming out.

"DIE YOU FUCKING!" I ran without a second thought. In my head right now is just filled with anger.

Ron was still standing firm, his gaze as if underestimating my existence who was preparing to attack him. He pointed his hand towards me, within seconds, a burst of water from his hand came out.

THE DUAR!

Fuut!

I was beside him now, no matter how fast his attack was. My teleportation is the fastest.

"You're fast, but you're stupid."

Deg.

My eyes looked at where Ron was attacking. My heart raced fast as the enormous water led to my mother and father's tubes.

PRANGS!

"DON'T!" I immediately ran towards my father and mother. It was unthinkable to me that I could teleport, now only wanting to save them immediately.

"DAD! MAMA! AWAKE UP!" I shouted while holding my father's cheeks. His face was very pale, blood kept coming out.

His right hand is no longer there. And also his right foot. I tried to squeeze the wound with the shirt I was wearing, but it didn't work.

"Dad! Daddy's! Wake up! He's a bad guy! Let's get up and beat him up, Dad!" I continued to talk while holding the blood out.

"Ri .. ot."

Deg.

I turned my head stiff. As I closed my eyes, I relaxed the fear I would see after this.

Deg.

I slowly opened my eyes.

Deg.

In front of me, exposed to my mother whose body had been severed. He was still talking with a mouth filled with blood.

"La .. ri .. lah," he said.

After that he didn't move anymore. Likewise with my father who has not since when to become stiff. I was still silent, my eyes wide open while looking at my parents.

"A very impressive family drama!" Ron roused me from the sadness.

I swiftly collected all the parts of my parents' bodies, I closed my eyes to get out of this place.

"Rone. Remember this well, I won't let you go. There will be a time when you have to pay for everything you do!" I kissed Ron.

He just smiled and underestimated me.

Fuut!
