Ares: Never Grow Up
The disappearance of Ken and Riot!

"Oiya, isn't tomorrow the boss has a meeting with 'them'?"

POV: Author

"Oh, you're right." Boni sighed for a moment, her purple eyes staring towards the blue sky with a slight cloudiness up there. His mind seemed to drift unpredictably, whatever was inside, not knowing what he was now looking at.

"What should I prepare?" civilian asked flatly as usual, Boni glanced briefly at him while smiling knots.

"none. Tomorrow I won't go with you, I'll take Thea," Boni said, stretching the muscles in her body. Civilian just nodded, obeying Boni's words.

"Oh, and about the newcomers, please take good care of them. Because they are precious children" said Boni with a bright smile. Civilian again just nodded, he immediately tidied up the files scattered on his desk. Then hurry to the elevator.

"Thank you for today, we'll meet again the day after tomorrow, see you." Boni said just before Civilian stepped into the elevator. The woman with shoulder-length brown hair just turned her head and lowered her head for a moment, and went back to enter the elevator.

POV: Ares

Somehow it feels like today passed very quickly, maybe because I am still not used to this peaceful state. Day turns night, sunrise and sunset, the atmosphere in this city is not much different from the previous city.

Vani has fallen asleep again, Ken went somewhere, as well as Riot. If Ken maybe I can understand that he's leaving for a while, but Riot .. I don't know.

"Ares ... Can you close the window? It's getting cold" said Vani, keeping his eyes closed, his right hand raising the blanket to cover his neck.

Cklek.

"Oh, sorry. Are you cold?" ask me while closing the window. Vani did not answer anymore, he went back to sleep. I walked and sat on the other bed. My eyes are still staring at Vani, who looks slumbering in her sleep.

Tok tok!

"Excuse me." A little girl in nurse clothes came. I sat down and rushed towards him.

"What's wrong?" many confused.

"We just want to let you know that Miss Stevani is almost completely recovered. So he can leave this hospital tomorrow" said the nurse kindly. I was so grateful to hear that Vani was discharged from the hospital. But I was immediately dizzy when I remembered that we had no home here.

Oh. .. no problem, we can sleep in the car I'll make later. Residence affairs can be thought of later.

"All right, thanks sus!" I said kindly to his words, he immediately bowed his body with a smile and then left our room.

"Nghh ... What's up, Ar?" Vani's voice shifted my focus, now I turned to look at him who was trying to open my eyes. I walked calmly towards him, then sat down on the edge of the bed where he lay.

"Finally! I'm tired of lying in bed!" said Vani relieved while ruffling the blanket that keeps his body warm. I chuckled while trying to keep Vani from falling. It could be bad if the wound opens again.

"Oh! By the way ... Where are Ken and Riot?" vani asked while looking at me confused. I was also confused as to how to answer it, I really didn't know where they were going.

"Here you go, maybe busy looking for the wind?" answer me as much as possible to look calm. Luckily Vani just nodded her head and believed my words. But he suddenly fell silent, his eyes staring at the window with the sky starting to blacken out there.

"Are you sleepy?" I asked when I saw Vani who was silent while pensive.

"It seems .. yes," he replied in a tired tone, before long he began to yawn. I immediately confirmed the blanket to the neck, waiting for him to fall asleep.

"I'm sorry .. This time I can't accompany you while I'm sleeping. I'll find Ken and Riot first" I murmured very slowly. Maybe only I myself can hear it. After confirming the blanket, I immediately opened the window and flew out. Not forgetting that I closed the window as much as I could and immediately darted away.

Where're y'all? Ken, Riot!

I keep flying around this shining night city. In contrast to the view of the dark and gloomy City of Oner. The city of Ansorteri looks more alive and radiant, although equally sepinya. Looks like the population in this city is not up to 50% of what it should be. In fact, maybe this is only about 10% left.

"Oh! It looks like it's pretty crowded!" I told myself when I saw a small crowd in one of the shops. I immediately descended slowly and landed in front of that shop. All eyes were on me, they were confused and wondering who I was and why I was here.

"Um .. Excuse me, may I ask you a few things? Did you see two boys, one with wave-brown hair and the other with straight ripe blue?" I asked while trying to explain their hair. But some of the kids there still don't understand and just stare at each other.

"Um .. One has a jet black eye, and the other has a clear blue sea eye!" say again. But now they're shaking their heads, don't they really know where Ken and Riot went?

"I'm sorry, but we didn't see the kid with the traits you mentioned earlier. You better find them again soon, it's getting dark. If it's too late, they'll be kidnapped by that 'woman!" said one of the boys in a green bomber jacket. He again gave a warning by saying the word 'the woman' again. I'm sure he meant Safa.

"Did that 'woman' really like to kidnap other people?" many confused. The other children started to look at each other, their eyes looking at me seriously.

"There is a story circulating in the community since the living conditions of the world become like this, do you want to hear it?" asked the boy while dragging my hand to enter the crowd.

"News? What story?" ask again. The children nodded at each other, they brought a large black cloth to cover us all.

The tring!

The boy lit a flashlight amid the darkness of this cloth.

..."Well, then. Listen to this story carefully."...
