Ares: Never Grow Up

POV: Ares

Vani succeeded! He can bring that slime here!

"Rilts! Now we have to do one more thing!" I said as I looked at Riot hanging from my hand. As soon as she heard my voice, she immediately looked up at me.

I headed towards Vani, I could clearly see her expression as if saying 'what do you want to do?'. I just smiled and walked past him.

"Well, but this city is getting destroyed, there are already many buildings that are no longer shaped," said Riot while staring at his favorite city. There must be a sense of sadness, seeing the city where it was born so like a cross.

"Woah~ they can even beat the slime of your creation, Ron!" said a little girl with green eyes and sky blue hair. He wears a round hat and a yellow jacket.

"I know, let it go. I'm busy with my last research!" ron replied while continuing to struggle with the chemical bottle. The girl snorted angrily and sat down at the table next to Ron. His eyes looked carefree but filled with ambition.

"So, can I clean them up?" ask the girl at the end. Ron paused his activities for a moment, then stared doubtfully at the girl.

"Make sure you're not dead. It would be very troublesome if I lost you" said Ron and continued with a sigh. The girl who had received Ron's permission earlier, immediately had fun and went towards the door.

It's been a week since that slime thing. It felt very calm and peaceful, no oddity had suddenly come. But, precisely this calmness gave me a bad feeling.

"Whoops!" Vani suddenly came and pushed my back. I was standing there looking at the river, so I was shocked and almost fell into the river. Fortunately, there is a fence.

"God! What the hell are you doing?! I almost got splashed!" I said furiously while still holding firmly on the fence. While the person I was addressing just smiled indistinctly and came to stand next to me.

"By the way, where are Ken and Riot?" ask me to change the topic. Vani glanced at me without turning her head.

"They were going around, I don't know what they were looking for" said Vani, shrugging his shoulders. I nodded in understanding and then looked back at the river current.
