"We're ready to move whenever your orders are issued."
POV: Ares
Ene and Eni, both of them are twin girls discovered by Vani. One of Boni's fugitives because they have troublesome powers. They can make pastries with incredible healing powers, perhaps more powerful than Ken's healing powers.
At the persuasion of Vani, Ene and Eni followed me. Of course, I cannot tell them to fight, the one with the healing power is Ene, while Eni's power is to create an illusionary field, making themselves invisible to anyone.
Since the discovery of Ene and Eni, I've had them bake as many cookies as Ene can, and I gave them orders to go around, treating the injured citizens.
Maybe Boni has a puppet army that can't feel pain, but we have a living army that has brains and intelligence.
"should ... Elly has managed to bring the citizens out" I murmured while closing my eyes. I picked up another cookie but not for me to eat, I pocketed it in my shorts pocket and flew up into the sky.
"Continue your work, I have to make sure of something!" I said to Ene and Eni. The two of them nodded, then began to disappear like the wind. I immediately darted away towards the North, because I also did not know where Thea lived, so I could only search randomly.
Beeping.
DOR DOR DOR.
As soon as I heard the gunshots, I spontaneously stopped the power of waking up and chose to freefall to the ground.
Damnit damnit! Did I enter Elvon's zone?!
I closed my eyes and imagined a shield.
CRING!
TRANG TRANG TRANG!
Although this shield I made was heavy, but ordinary bullets would not be able to penetrate it.
WHONG!
TANGGG!
BRUGH!
A red laser shot fired one bullet. As a result, this hard shield of mine might be able to withstand a bullet, but not with pressure, the shield instantly crashed along with my body being lifted.
CRING!
I immediately got up and ran back, running, several times I made some small grenades and catapults.
With the power of my tiny hand, there's no way this grenade could hit Elvon's weapon. Making catapults is a good choice!
KR!
WHUS!
I started aiming and fired a grenade that I had removed. The grenade floated rapidly towards Elvon's weapon, then ...
THE DUAR!
"HUHUH! IT WORKED!" I cried out with pleasure at the sight of the black smoke.
DOR DOR!
"I FORGOT THAT THE WEAPON ISN'T JUST ONE!! AAAA!" I immediately ran again and tried to hide behind an abandoned office.
"Based on the sheepfighter, fortunately your plan was heard from the beginning," I said as I stared at Elvon's weapon.
Elvon is one of Boni's direct subordinates. That's why I felt strange when he asked us for help to defeat Boni, even though he was his subordinate.
After Vani left that day, I cleaned up the house for a while and then got out. My goal is not to find a partner or defeat someone, but to know Elvon's next plan.
"He stupidly bit the bait I put up" I said with a crisp laugh.
Little do I know about Elvon's powers. He is the controller of the information network. It is only fitting that he can find Riot anywhere and anytime, all CCTV access is his, all camera access or even soundsystems are his.
Ever since I knew that it was his power, the first step I took was to destroy the power plant in this city. Lucky because it is still under construction, this city has no backup power plant. Maybe some companies have it.
"Oh?" I stared at the pack of dogs next to me, at first a little surprised, but apparently they did not intend to attack me. Looks like they were dogs that Safa had ordered to help me with.
"You came on time! Can you understand my language?" I crouched down while rubbing the dog's head gently. The face that originally showed hostility, slowly turned into a friendly face.
Thank goodness they seem to understand! This must be the reason Safa sent me a dog instead of another animal!
"All right! So this is ..."
***
WHUSS!
I flew straight away at high speed, pointing straight at the weapon in a 46th floor building. I've made glasses so that my eyes are not exposed to pressure from the wind or other foreign objects.
DOR DOR DOR!
PRANGS!
I passed the bullet quickly and broke the window to get in.
Deg.
Wh-what's this?
My eyes were fixed on what I saw. This room was filled with wires and a strange blue light. Not just wires, there are tubes and some electronic devices that I don't understand.
BZZ!
[Haha! Hello Ares, welcome to the tower of Elvon! This is the special weapon I prepared for you!]
"The name is really bad, right? You're not very creative!" I sneered while smiling.
[I don't need your comment! But that's for sure! This is the building of vengeance for you who betrayed me! I gave you almost 100 sacks of grenades!]
I laughed and shrugged both my shoulders. Indeed, the grenade I received was a gift from Elvon, if I make my own, even my entire chast will only be enough for 5 bags every day.
[This building is your end Ares! From the 46th floor to the 1st floor, there will be all sorts of traps!]
"Any, doesn't it usually start from the first floor first? Why did it start from the top floor?" many confused.
[If I put you on the 1st floor, you'll knock this building down! And I on the 46th floor will fall! But if I'm on the 1st floor and you're on the 46th floor, no matter what you do I'll be safe! Ahaha!]
"Ohhhh so you're a coward who didn't survive falling from the building huh? You suck, "I said, ruffled by the waist. I can hear that Elvon is getting angry because of my provocation.
[ARGHHH LOOK OUT! ENJOY THE TORMENT OF EACH FLOOR!
FLOOR 46! ILLUSION FLOOR!]
PSSHH!
After Elvon's voice disappeared, a strange gas in this room began to spread. This gas comes from the many wires I saw earlier, I don't know what kind of gas this is, but it seems to have a powerful effect on making people hallucinate.
"Well, what will I see?" I sat down cross-legged and waited for what would appear.
"A ..res?" Vani's voice appeared in a pained tone, I could guess that what they were displaying was a severely injured Vani.
"I thought it was, it's very cliche." I was disappointed with what came up. After Vani, then came Riot, Ken, and some of my office co-workers.
Nothing interesting.
"Ka ... sis?"
Deg.
TBC.
Don't forget the likes, guys!
