Ares: Never Grow Up

Ares: Never Grow Up
A discovery!

POV: Ares

"Huh .. hah .. huh. Can't .. be opened!" I was sitting limp on the stairs made of cement, many times I tried to open this door by force, but.

"That's .. We'll think about it later. Now, let's go down these stairs first" Ken said, patting me on the shoulder. I nodded slowly, then started to stand up.

After I stood up, the three of us continued down the stairs the further down, the more stuffy this. Lucky because here there is dim lighting, which comes out of nowhere. There were no lights or even candles, but the tunnel was still bright enough to be seen by the eyes.

"How long are we going to walk?" riot asked impatiently. Though Riot was in front, but instead he was the first emotion. Ken and I looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders as a sign of ignorance.

"Wait on! If this keeps going down ... won't we get to the underground river?" ask Ken in the middle of the trip. Riot and I fell silent, and Ken said it had a point.

In urban areas, surely the bottom there is a place for the river to flow.

"... Where's the armory next?" ask Riot tired. Riot immediately leaned against the mossy wall next to him. Without him noticing, it seemed like Riot had pressed another button on that wall.

Cklek.

DRRKKKK!

The tunnel began to shake violently, I held on to Ken's arm, while Riot held on to Ken's leg. And Ken? Praying for the power.

"RIOT WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I was angry at the boy.

"DON'T KNOW HUEEEE SUDDENLY SHOOK HER TUNNEL!" riot defended himself. A few minutes passed, but the shocks of this tunnel did not stop. One by one, the bricks that were here fell and broke.

Proms.

"HEW! LET'S JUST RUN! ISN'T THIS DANGEROUS?! WE DON'T HAVE ANY CHAST LEFT!" I shouted while shaking Ken's arm. But Ken didn't want to change places, he just stood quietly while closing his eyes.

"... I TOLD YOU TO RUN STUPID! NOT BERTHAPA!" I wiggled Ken's arm even stronger.

Drk.

Suddenly the tunnel stopped. The three of us still did not feel relieved, a sense of alert made our hearts beat twice as fast.

Clik.

"Huh?" I heard another voice under our feet.

BLAM!

"WHATAAAAA?!" The stairs we stood on suddenly collapsed. Not the whole staircase, just the place we were on. Like a trap for a rat, we were free-falling into this hole that was out of nowhere.

WHONG!

Syutts!

Whahuh? Any slides?

After we fell, I could feel the back of my body start to touch a smooth and slippery surface. Since the light here is worse than in the tunnel, I can't be sure if this is really a slide or what.

"Whoa!" Riot's voice shocked my sense of hearing.

"Rilts? Why-."

BLONGS!

BRUK BRUK BRUK BRUK

BRUAKK!

"Ad ... duh." Not finished I asked, suddenly it felt like my body was pulled down, even I hit something a few times. Fortunately not too hard, but still sick.

I fell on my stomach, and when I realized that I was no longer in the tunnel, I started to try to stand up.

"This ... where?" ask me slowly while looking left and right.

BRUK!

BRUK!

What is that sound?

I ran to the source of the sound. And it turned out ...

It was Ken and Riot who had just arrived.

"You all right?" I asked while running small towards them, Riot still looks fine, but Ken looks pale .. Is he nauseous?

"I'm nauseous! My slide's circling!" ken said as he closed his mouth, holding back from vomiting. I chuckled while massaging Ken's nape, after which I helped him up, and invited him to walk.

"But ... Where is this?" ask Riot who walked ahead of me and Ken.

Yes .. That's what I asked, this room is very empty and just filled with dust. There is only one lighting here, which is a translucent glass that is in the ceiling.

"Isn't this an armory?" ken asked after his expression had improved a little.

I immediately looked at Ken in surprise and asked, "Where? Isn't this room so empty?".

Ken shook his head then started pointing in a direction. My eyes followed the direction that Ken was pointing at, and found something there.

A switch.

The conscious Riot immediately ran towards the switch and began to touch it.

Cklek.

Pats!

This room was immediately brightly lit, it turned out that this room had other lights!

"Wi ... ah! Ares ... try to look at your right side." said Riot with a look of admiration. Ken and I turned to our right.

Deg.

So ... is this really an armory?!

In front of us, hundreds of rifles of various types lined up neatly like exhibits in a museum. Ken and I immediately ran and looked at the weapon, ranging from the type of gun, shotgun, until the missile was still there.

This is strange ... Why does this city have equipment for war? If only for the supply of weapons, isn't a rifle enough? There are also snipers here.

Srak.

I saw a piece of paper that fell under my feet. Out of curiosity, I started crouching down and saw what paper it was.

This ... photo!

And this face ... Bonnie?! No. It's weird that this guy is Boni, he's just similar, but he's not Boni.

Then who? Why are there family photos in this place?

"AREST! COME HERE!"

DEG!

Riot's loud voice startled me, I quickly folded the old photo into my pants pocket, then ran towards Riot who was yelling earlier.

"What's wrong?" I asked to see Riot who was amazed.

What the hell is he looking at?

The deg!

"Mus .. tahil."

I stared at the dozens of tanks and battle cars that were neatly parked in this warehouse. Complete with missile bullet contents, and clean iron does not rust. Riot started running towards a battle tank, and touched him in excitement.

Various speculations began to fill my brain, about what was really going on, what was going on, and what problems were arising.

Tuk.

"YYYYYY!" I screamed because I felt a touch on my back.

"You why the hell? It's me!"

I quickly looked back, it turned out to be Ken. He stood behind me looking at me in wonder.

"You .. surprised me," I said, taking a deep breath.

"There's something you should know ...

I saw a corpse."

TBC.

Don't forget the likes, guys!
